Hi Anthony, I am Monique the French lady from North Queensland in Australia. Around 18 years ago I came in contact with you as I was struggling with the Trinity. I translated for you in French one of your book. I don't think I did a really good job of it, not really understanding your way of thinking and trying to learn myself. I didn't grasp what you were teaching at that time. After struggling with the Trinity for 32 years in Christian churches, I decided to watch some videos on TH-cam about Unitarian teachings. I found your channel and since few weeks I am watching a lot of videos from your channel and Biblical Unitarian. I feel more at peace now. I understand what you are teaching. Coming out of JWs in 1993, I always believed in one God the Father. But going in trinitarian churches, I was struggling with Jesus calling His Father His God, and Jesus calling His Father the only true God. Your teachings make sense to me now. There is only one verse I don't understand and I would like an explanation. It's Romans 8:26. The Spirit makes intercession for us to the Father. If the Spirit is the power of God, a part of God, to who God is interceding to? This verse in the past makes me believe in the Trinity. I could see the third person making intercession to the Father. Anthony, can you please help me with this verse? How do you understand it? Thanks for taking the time to reply to me. Thank you also for all the excellent preachings you and others are doing. God bless you and your ministry. 🙏

      Nothing much happening.
Monique in thinking about this issue of Rom8:26 it would seem to me, another who has seen the error of the trinity, that this "spirit interceding for us" is Paul talking about how we are brought before the throne of God. That portion of Gods power and person that we are connected with, in a spiritual connection.
I dont think Paul is saying that this spirit is a separate person, who does some thinking and interceding for us, but as elsewhere the apostolic writers tell us that God knows our inermost thoughts and travails, because now that we are of the new birth we are able to be in a sense "always before the throne of God, that via that spiritual connection, even when we are not praying, that god knows our needs, the spirit within us, the connection to God, lets him know without us putting it into words in any particular language.
Beginning with Anthony teaching on jn8:58, I saw that the trinity was false, around seven years ago now, after I had been a trinitarian evangelical for nearly 40 years.
      . Blessings.

      @MoniqueChatenay yes,,,,, so am I.
we are called to worship "in spirit and truth."
So seeking the truth in scripture is worship, and seeking Gods leading in that spiritual connection to God that we have been anointed with, is part of that worship.
So I think what you and I are doing is indeed the right thing to do in worship of our one true God.
be encouraged sister. Looking forward to the blessed hope.
      thanks.

The man Jesus Christ rules for God giving him authority over heaven and the earth and all creations. There is only one thing that God did not give him, "God's throne" understand then, the story of Pharaoh and Joseph. Pharaoh gives Joseph all the authority to rule Egypt in his behalf. Only one thing the pharaoh didn't give his throne. This is why the man from Nazareth called "Christ" anointed one. God anoint him to rule for Him. If Jesus is God in the human form. It is not necessary for him to be anointed, Why? because he is already God. God would not anoint his co-God. But Jesus is a human, He must be anointed to works for God. Thanks Dr. Anthony for teaching the truth about the true nature of Christ and God. Shalom!

      great comment.
I always use the example of Joseph as well. But very few seem to be able to see the foreshadow in this example.
Another point to your Joseph analogy, that Joseph was raised to pharaohs right hand, given the authority of pharaoh, as you said..... but... also.. JOSEPH WAS NOT EVEN EGYPTIAN !! He was to egyptians, a lowly hebrew slave.
Just like Jesus was not God, or even one of Gods angels.
      blessings.
      blessings.

But when I read Romans 8:26, I can see the third person of the Trinity who makes intercession for us. If the Spirit is a force or a part of God, how can God intercedes to Himself? Can you help me? Hey Monique. I tagged you a couple days ago in a comment on another video that hopefully helped answer another one of your questions 😊
But in regards to this particular one…from what I understand, the Holy Spirit for which we are given is the same spirit that God gave Jesus. The spirit that lives in true believers of our one true God and His human Messiah Jesus of Nazareth. That spirit which guides us and gives us the power and strength we need also gives intercession for us in prayer. I could be wrong but that is the most logical explanation to me. It’s not a third person. It is the Holy Spirit that lives within us that gives intercession for us. 😊 if that makes sense.

How come he is sitting at the right hand of God. Many scriptures mention "the God and father of Jesus" Jesus has a God. Jesus is not God, he's sitting at the right hand of his God

      Except that:
The kingdom OF God is not God
The angels OF God are not God
The fear OF God is not God
The firstborn OF God are not God
The spirit OF God is not God
The word OF God is not God
The Son OF God is not God.
What is it that some folks don't understand about the OF word.
It is a preposition of possession.
The firstborn belong to God. Jesus is the firstborn son OF God, the first to be given "the power of an endless life" (Heb 7:16).

The concept of Agency does not apply at all in the area of prayer that is directly rendered unto the Lord Jesus since one can just as easily render prayer directly unto the Father. An agent would be a party when the other party is not there and/or cannot be reached. An "agent" is therefore unnecessary.

Did Jesus teach people to pray to the Son in heaven?

    • @henryodera5726
      @henryodera5726 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

Jesus prayed to the Father in heaven; Jesus taught His disciples to pray to the Father in heaven. When you pray to Jesus, who has taught you to do that? Who in the bible gave a teaching on when and how to pray to Jesus?
Because I know the teachings concerning prayer to the Father. You're supposed to pray in secret, and not publicly so that people will acknowledge that you're praying; you're not supposed to be repetitive, and are supposed to use few words; you're supposed to ask for forgiveness of sins, and are supposed to have forgiven others also; you're supposed to ask for guidance, protection and deliverance from evil and temptation etc. These are all teachings that Jesus taught concerning how to give an acceptable prayer to the Father.
So what are the teachings on how to pray to the Son or the Holy Spirit? Or did you just copy-paste the instructions concerning prayer to the Father? Or maybe you just make it up as you go?

@@kardiognostesministries8150 Where did Jesus teach people to pray to the Son? And I'm not a follower of Anthony Buzzard, I'm a follower of Christ. I agree with Anthony on a lot of things, but I'm not following him. So you shouldn't assume that him saying "yes" to something means that I'll automatically accept that as accurate, proper or true.
In fact, I'm certain that I'd agree with you on a lot of things as well. But as you can see, we're disagreeing on something.
