If they painted the brick white would have popped that coastal theme. You've just furnished the space.

Maybe they're renters? I thought it would have been good to make a 'fence' out of long thin branches (slightly large twigs). That could have been put up along the lower half of the back of the house to cover up some of the brick work.

I was expecting more ocean theme. A little underwhelming to me.

I agree. It was mostly just adding some expensive furniture. I expected to see 2nd hand pieces re-furbished in a coastal style. Twig fencing along the bricks to cover that a bit. Purple fountain grass in long tufts, reminding you of that walk over the sand dunes to get to the beach.

Wow- return to the 1990s! Look at all that denim on denim- and it's all of them! And the heavy, black mascara around the eyes. I think the hosts need a makeover before they tackle anyone else's backyard.
