Pete, how does this pedal compare in sound to the Boss DM-2W? I currently have the Boss pedal and really like it, but it’s a bit limited in expression pedal options. Any input is greatly appreciated…from anyone. Cheers!
I like it, but I dont like the feedback distortion. That sound always makes me want to stop stompin all together. I do like the lack of annoying led lights flashing through the speaker. The Vapor Trail makes a noticable noise from the light that flashes with the delay time. The Vapor pedal sounds great, but the light sound ruined it all in the end. I really like the sound of the Fender, but would liked to have seen what the pedal sounded like with different pickups/guitars and or amps. Not a complaint, just a suggestion brother Pete.
Nice pedal. I have a FAB echo, and I like the shivery feeling oscillation of it, but when I turn up the mix all the way, it gets too hollow sounding to be usable and I can't get vibratos. The Supro look like it might be more useable.
Hey Pete - with the expression output on this pedal are you able to hook a tap tempo switch to it or use the Musicom EFX-LE tap tempo function? Thanks!
Indeed. If this Supro had same tap tempo option as my DOD, I would give it a try with the "supposed" superior BBD chips. Rubberneck does great at $180 via Prymaxe, so no sale here. Supro must want to stick with their same old enclosure, at the expense of knocking it out of the park for a few bucks more. Great video as always, Pete!
The Rubberneck is not 100% analog like this one: it has tap tempo and time subdivision... I think those 2 elements make it digital anyway. But I could be wrong on that! Am I? Hands raised

Hi, sorry ,I deeply respect your job, you are a talented guitarist, but please, who in a live band situation is going to mess with the repeats getting his delay pedal into oscilation. Is useless, It seems that feature appeals to teenagers, and messing with it in a demo maybe will imporve the sales. But to be honest , if you´re at a gig, suppose you are the bassist , drummer or rithm guitar and the lead guitarist beguins to mess with tempo or repeats, who can follow him, all the pace goes to the toilet. please, we want to hear the tone of the pedal and the range from pristine repeats to analog like lo fi ones . Sorry for the rant. but really , I need to get an analog delay I fail find a serious review, I will end up buying the simple MXR Carbon Copy at least I know the tone dark (the basic dark green). Again sorry for the rant, maybe this is not the place to find the demo I´m looking for. It´s not your fault.
Its a cool pedal, but $250?? Way too much. For another 50 bucks I could get a strymon or a keeley dark side. Not enough versatility to justify that high price.

Huh... 600 ms might be the longest I've seen from an analog pedal. It sounds great, too. Nice demo, Pete.
Nope the DMM 1100 and the JHS Panther and panther cub all have 1100 ms
Moog delay pedals (now discontinued) also go up to around 1000 MS.
