They are too daft to see his point. I am African American and I support Sharon in his art. If you are offended or hurt don't go to his show. There was no open dialogue it was only them trying to push their agenda on him. I found them rude and antagonistic. Bravo Sharon for standing your ground and remaining respectful and cool headed.

+Ninten Legend I'm hispanic and I've never labelled myself "brown", nor have I seen any other hispanic do so. Who the fuck are you to impose a name on ethnic groups you're not even a part of? Fuck off.
This wasn't an interview or a discussion. This was attack, attack, attack, then needlepoint every counter he had to make. Kind of disgusting if you ask me.
These "activists" are so toxic it's hard to take them seriously. When the woman said, "How you should feel about it is..." I almost punched my computer screen. These holier-than-thou know-nothing children are undermining actual social progress. I've been involved with LGBT activism for over two decades and I have to say to these two kids: NO. Your bullshit lecturing is a retrograde tactic that doesn't help anyone. Your language policing isn't worth a fart in a windstorm. If anything, it emboldens the enemies of social justice, gives them a clear bad guy to hate. Big props to Sharon for sitting down with them, but if I were her I'd never subject myself to this kind of horseshit ever again. You just keep doing what you do, Sharon!
@@kellyrobinson6543 Using symbols to turn them into something else is not racist cause you don't like it. Mainly when you actually ridiculise the ones who discriminate. You're free to see it as inappropriate if you want but calling it racist when there's no racism behind it, the opposite actually, is absurd. Anyway you make several generalizations in the comments like "white straights are.. white gays are" and generalizations are always dumb lol. Also the minute someone gonna do it about POC it's gonna be an issue for you I bet so you just need to be more coherent and a tad wiser.
There are plenty of drag queens and members of the LGBTQ+ who aren’t racist, grooming, pieces of shits but you wanna die on a hill defending sharon? Interesting..
Womp womp. Your fave is racist and youre complicit in their racism. Nobody cares about the activism you did and bringing that up to absolve yourself of that racism is the only thing here thats holier than thou
It's incredibly infuriating to see people who aren't intelligent enough to understand satire. It's even worse when they think they deserve to be on their high horse as well.
You're really stubborn if you don't understand that the nazi/Disney number is actually brilliant and not racist at all. Who cares what other people think, Sharon is doing her shows for people who get it, not for people who get offended at DRAG shows.
There are a lot of insecure, narcissistic clueless white people out there , gay and straight. Everything he says is about what he thinks. He's exhausted, he's a victim. He is NOT helping young people. Its not ok to dismiss people when they say they're offended. He needs to sort out his mental health issues or learn to shut your mouth like the rest of us.
@@aratneerg3699 Ofcourse everything is about what he thinks. They were there to interview (and attack) him. I think dragrace and it's fandom pushed their contestants to be rolemodels. Now we see that people like you descide how a rolemodel should act. Maybe these queens don't want to be in that position. They want to perform, create their own art (which is not for everyone), have a great time at their work and be able to pay their bills. If you don't like it, don't go to their shows. Don't show up at an interview and expect them to fix your life.
@@downtown82 Wanting a “role model” to act a certain way when young people are watching isn’t a stretch, especially when younger people are highly impresionable
Yeah girl, attack the shit out of him and then be offended when he says you're attacking him...Good thing the interviewers left so briskly they could clearly both do with some exercise!
I can't stand the interviewers. I think as an interviewer you can't go into an interview with a biased opinion. They clearly were just jabbing at Sharon and then turn around and say "Yeah I know what you mean." They don't though. They just kept asking and prying over the same question. Sharon handled this very well!
Sharon handled it very well, I don't think I would of been able to keep calm. There was no need for the rudeness. The guy kept saying, "I understand what you're saying" and then goes on to say how she isn't listening and then says "I'm not gonna go there" You are an interviewer, he needs to grow up or change occupations.
@Ellis I think interviewers can get their point across/have a civil conversation without giving attitude or being rude. Criticize forsure but there needs to be an open dialogue and both parties are closed off. Not much can get resolved.
The fact that they're attacking Aaron for using Nazi imagery is a bit strange to me, because gay people were also heavily persecuted under Nazism, and saying that only Jewish people are allowed to make art using WW2 iconography is kind of erasing the many many other types of people who suffered because of Hitler's regime. Also, these activists are hella confrontational. This isn't a discussion between them and Aaron, so much as a lecture to Aaron about why he's wrong and they're right. I mean, you don't owe it to anyone to be polite, but if your goal is to have a progressive conversation that ends with your concerns being addressed, it's probably in your interests to be respectful and not cut people off mid-sentence.
Those two were really rude, they were unwilling to actually listen to Aaron and just kept pushing their agenda into him. I'm glad he conducted himself with maturity, he kept it classy and he didn't come down to their level. Sharon stays as Sharon and she doesn't have to change in order to protect people's personal feelings. Also why does the guy sounds like he's about to cry, it is so annoying.
i still stand firm in my belief. Sharon isn't a racist. She may have been misguided in her approach, but i think what she was trying to do is still very much so important today in the midst of "cancel culture". People like Johnny Depp and Marilyn Manson have had their lives and careers completely fflipped upside down all because of vindictive and evil women in their lifes who see how easy it is to twist the media and destroy somebodies public image and reputation. All you have to do is cry out a few specific buzz words - Racist, S.A, homophobic, etc. and the real kicker is it DOESNT EVEN HAVE TO BE THE TRUTH and you can take somebodies entire livelyhood from them.
The beauty of Sharon Needles and what makes her unique is exactly what people are trying to kill about her. I find her acts to be something deeper than anything other queens are doing. Sharon does drag with a purpose and its to strip the power from stigmas and racial discrimination. She UNDERMINES the seriousness of the words she uses by using them so sparingly and without fear. Of course, because shes white, no one will stop to think about her purpose. If you can sit there and listen to Sharon explain again and again what her purpose is and still continue to take her word usage at face value, then you're not listening at all and YOU are, in fact, the closed minded one. Also fuck those interviewers and anyone who thinks they can tell Sharon what to do. Sharon has been in the game for a long time and she doesn't have to answer to NO social justice bitches. BOOOOO!
It annoyed me when the interviewer said “it’s all about context” but didn’t even know the context of the shows and criticised Sharon. It seems as if they judged him on what they heard and not what they knew
Those were not "activists". They were bordering on bully level personalities. They were both rude as hell and attacking sharron the entire time. Especially the guy wearing that atrocious flower shirt. He obviously has a lot of self hate problems where he takes negativity from his past too seriously and manifests it into that bitter DISGUSTING personality. You think you didn't get served at bars because you felt or thought you looked different than everyone else? You probably didn't get served because of that ignorant personality =) We love you sharron. It's like you said, you take the darkest shit from humanity and put it out in the opened to remind us we can always overcome it.
Lil' Pound Cake They were so rude and didn't even try to actually listen to him, they just kept pushing and pushing. I'm glad Aaron did not play their game and descended to their level.
as a former activist of color, I have to say that there's a point when you've got to stop being angry about the oppression you face and stop judging everyone who doesn't think exactly like you do. these activists were talking AT sharon and at one point started talking about times when they've been discrimintated against by other people. they just wanted someone to blame for everything that's gone wrong for them, and sharon was the new target. that doesn't feel like social justice to me.
This is absolutely ridiculous. Thankfully I see a lot of people in the comments are as bothered by this interview as I am. The interviewers have an awful childish tone to the whole interview. They clearly understand that Sharons performance is not one of hate yet they treat her like a racist scumbag. They even admit that they did not research why the Nazi uniform was being used in the show (Tumblr screen cap protesters). I appreciate this is a very heated topic and thank god that at least Aaron could keep a calm and professional level.
That was so difficult to watch because it was an attack and not a healthy discussion or interview. Okay, saying the 'N' word or wearing a nazi uniform probably isn't the most tasteful thing to do but it's clear that there was no malice intended in Sharon's act. If these 'activists' truly want to do some good for their communities, why don't they focus their energy on the bigger issues instead of attacking a drag artist for a stupid costume.
those interviewers are just so rude, condescending and insulting. i know sharon might have done something thats insulting for you but there is another way to approach her especially since she seems so open to properly discuss it.
This looked more like a reprimand and persecution than an interview or a discussion. Regardless of emotions I found the interviewers HIGHLY unprofessional. Not only did they not carry themselves well as they spoke but just left in the middle?
The two main interviewers' intentions were to attack and shame, and to berate Sharon as if he had to answer to them. They behaved more like cross examining attorneys than interviewers, and their statements were more reflective of the turmoil in themselves than they were of Sharon. Each statement made was contradicting...."On a personal level I don't care if your position will shift or anything about you, but stop doing this and you need to apologize." There is no need to inject that personal sting of apathy to insult your guest before making your point of asking for an apology. Unprofessional. Also, she said "You are not shifting the conversation about race in what you're doing, you're only hurting people. " And yet here they were having a conversation about race! Trolled. 1 point for Sharon. And when the female interviewer said "I know you have a history of--you felt you were attacked recently..." RIGHT AFTER he said he felt attacked, it shows that she was so busy staying on the other side of her wall and putting pseudo-professional sentences together that she couldn't have this interpersonal conversation with him. Yes, "recently"-- like two seconds ago! They weren't there to mend bridges. They were there to try to push Sharon off one. Sharon Needles is too real, too intelligent and self trusting to fall for their trap, and is even more of an inspiration now. And who flees from an interview while your guest is talking?? Downright rude people. You have no future in journalism until you get yourselves together, kids. No one is going to watch you for your news. I can't even understand anything that guy in the flower shirt is saying.
Wow i didn’t think opening this comment section I would see people justifying somebody dressing up as a Nazi and using slurs. Thank God most of these comments are from 10 years ago I hope the commenters are more open minded and not ignorant.
Unfortunately these people think this is art. So they will still defend bigotry, misogyny, racism cause they think it’s art. Grooming children was art? Saying the N-Word like u invented the word was art? Ppl are gullible
He apoligized then it was rejected. Then from them clearly stating they dont give a shit what he thinks. Ask him to CLEARLY state what his future fucking plans are??? Ahhh pick one or the other?

Nowadays is very easy to call someone this or that without even researching the reason behind their actions. The world is not black and white, you can't make a statement based on what just seems to be the "fact" for you. What he said about all the young people whose life he changed was the part that got me in tears, from then on. Aaron/Sharon really saved me, and keeps on saving me whenever I find myself in hard days and for that I'll forever be grateful.

At this point in society, being politically correct has evolved into masks for evil. Sharon is an artist and is SO much more in the right in this situation. She totally conducted herself with grace, maturity, and love. Such a wonderful person.
this. cancel culture and just issuing out fake apologies and being forgiven by the fans has made it so true insidious people can thrive. sharon’s universal love turned hatred by the fandom is very interesting to me considering queens like trixie, katya, willam, alaska etc have histories of saying the n word, wearing blackface, or just being problematic in general but sharon gets hate because she refuses to apologize for something she uses to get people talking and to really think. is it her place as a white person to set this precedent? absolutely not, however these words being used in society have too much power and society lets them have power. as a black person i have never agreed with the widespread use of the n word and blame 90s rappers for that trash, but if you want to call yourself and your friends that and believe you’re taking your power back that’s fine. there is so much nuance in life, so many differences, and i think sharon has such a non conformist attitude that doesn’t fit in a society that wants you to conform, that wants you to be a sheep. malcolm x said it best, the white liberal is the most dangerous kind of racist, a wolf in sheep’s clothing. sharon has many black fans and it is because she is real and passionate and extremely intelligent. these queens who just dish out apologies they don’t mean to protect their careers i have zero respect for, and i’m glad that sharon has stayed true to herself despite the blows her career has taken. i feel a comeback is on the rise and it will be well deserved.
I love how female interviewer goes "i wasn't attacking you" bull honey this whole interview was a attack on Aaron Coady and his drag persona. This was the most unprofessional interview. Okay fine you don't like the imagery used in his show but not allowing his to explain why he was using it and the context that it was used and what message was be conveyed in his act. If i was Aaron I would have left the interview but by staying he showed how much class he has.
These so called reporters were appalling. Absolutely zero professionalism. If you cannot see past your own biased opinions about a topic you clearly do not fully understand you definitely should not be a reporter. They should be fired!!! Never stop what you do Sharon. The truly intelligent people aka your fans understand your motivation. Silly fake reporters are meaningless in the grand scheme of things. If they are butt hurt about something to the point they can no longer do their jobs correctly to hell with them. They don't deserve your tears at all !!! ( Yes I realise Sharon will most likely never read this but seriously these "reporters" Are rubish.
You do You Sharon. Nobody should ever tell you what to do and it is people like those two that keep Racism alive. You were spot on when you made the comment about people giving words power. It broke my heart to see you brought to tears by insensitive nosey busybodies!!! You are amazing and if your art/work can help one person in this Life then You should be proud and hold your head high. Your work is not for everyone and for those who find fault in it or don't agree should turn the other cheek
these silly "interviewers" should publicly apologize for their ignorance and rudeness. Aaron doesn't deserve this. he is a pure artist, with a sincere soul. we are lucky he is here for us. we need his voice..... love you Sharon . I am your #1super fan. thanks for all you've given me.
These people are ridiculous and insulting they are so demanding that he say he's going to change his act and never put anything offensive in it. That's ridiculous. These people need to get a life.
These interviewers/attackers don't give a crap about the Jews. Stop being so sensitive. Hispanics and Blacks say anti White jokes all the time. Get over it, it's called comedy.
Sharon Needles. A goddamn professional. Those people were upset I get it, but Sharon clearly explained what the acts were. ACTS. SHOWS. MOCKERY. It was so frustrating hearing these people just circling back to the Same bullshit to try and make her look bad. But Sharon handled this so well. I’m proud to be a fan of her.
Those interviewers are completely clueless. I can't believe they are taking this way too seriously. They need to channel their energy into something that actually could make a difference not attack someone who is a performer. And a public apology? Are you kidding? Really? Those interviewers should give a "public apology" for even conducting this nonsense. Shame on you GA Voice for even posting this. A magazine that prides itself to advocate "no hate" seems like they got it confused and had these two angry "youths" step all over what the gay movement has been working so hard not to convey. Am I wrong? You could hear it in their voices. It's their 15 minutes of "youtube" fame that clearly backfired from reading the rest of these comments.
I can't get over how poised and well-spoken Sharon was -- I could never sit through abuse, eye-rolling, interruptions, and complete immaturity like that with a straight face. Were those two actually paid journalists?!? They were beyond rigid in their viewpoint and displayed all the mature debate skills of a self-pitying 16-year-old with a chip on their shoulder, who hasn't done the required reading beforehand. They had earplugs in the whole time -- they only showed up to hear their own voices. Sharon, you possess a much broader and more nuanced understanding of the topic than these two putzes think you do. It is always important to think about the type of response you elicit from the public, BUT this is never the way it should go down. You're wonderful
Seemed like the interviewers wanted Sharon to bow down to their way of thinking without any opposition which is ironically pretty fascist. Love you Sharon, keep the faith
I would be angered at these "reporters" but after watching them conduct themselves so unprofessionally I can rest assured that their immaturity will limit their voice. (AKA their success in that field of work) It was more or less watching two people bully someone with gossip and false accusations. Thank you Sharon for being as strong as you have been. Many would have broken before now. You are a great roll model and have helped many troubled people in this world. For the sake of the others that need your strength, please don't change.
'I always wanted to laugh at the shit that scared the shit out of me.." love you Sharon, you're brilliant. They obviously don't understand Post-Politically Correct humor.
The interviews attitude is why trump won in 2016. I live in Louisiana..all the damned trumpers here voted for him as a PC, cancel culture protest. This attitude repels folks.
I think we are all grown up. And we can accept other opinions. live and let live! put opinions and judgments aside to let people live their own idals. If you dont agree, choose not to play. Simple as that. If he wants to apologize, it's his choice . If its forced what meaning does it have? Aaron im with you as far as not compromising and bowing down to pressure.
After this I can firmly say that Sharon is an amazing person. I can hardly imagine how much pressure she's been through because everyone kept asking her to change, and I think the finally gave up in some aspects to please the others and make people happy. And now everyone brags about how much she changed. She's brilliant and has an unique way of expressing herself. She's been misunderstood and her art has been misunderstood because not everyone can understand satire sometimes. It's so sad to see how everything turned back against her. And you can tell by this how much it hurt her to be misunderstood when she just wanted to help people to overcome their fears. Sharon Needles is amazing. Just amazing.
The only people who need to publicly apologize are the two interviewers. Never have I seen such unprofessional and hostile conduct on behalf of the hosts. They are poor representations of this company and i hope to never see them in charge of anything involving guests/human interaction again.
I thought he handled that really well. It was great that the guy off camera stepped in to wrap up the interview when the couple firing questions and accusations went AWOL. The female interviewer was a blinkered bully, and the one in the floral/striped shirt had so many issues - that's what the anxious laugh was about. All artists who challenge and push boundaries and experiment, run the risk of being misunderstood and wrongly accused of all sorts - Bowie, Genesis Breyer P-Orridge, Bruce La Bruce. Sharon, you are in good company. Keep it up. x
This is why people make fun of SJW. Sharon is trying to explain the symbolism behind what she’s doing and these people are so shallow they aren’t seeing the deeper meaning behind her expression. No one should to tell a perform you need to be sensitive to my feelings. If you don’t understand or agree with her then don’t bother with her. Good for her with sitting down with these people.
For what it's worth: Freedom of speech goes both ways. Someone is free to try to make a point using racist imagery or words and other people are free to react. I dislike these two and how they are speaking with Sharon (Who I really like and respect) and I think she did a good job in responding. However, to use this kind of language and imagery, you MUST be open to other people using their rights and expressing their opinion. Yes, these two come off like assholes, but that is also their right as much it is her right to express herself. If you don't agree that freedom of speech goes both ways, then you don't support it. Think about what makes YOU react harshly.
OMG If I were in Sharon's position, I wouldn't have given these two 2 seconds, let alone 20 minutes... This is what happens when ignorant people who insist on not understanding the nuisances and subtleties of drag, and thus taking unnecessary offence...
I really liked Sharon Needles and I watched this whole video and didn't hear anything that truly explained why she used the N word. She keeps talking about the kids she helped but is she talking about white kids? I agree that the interviewers could have been better but Sharon had plenty of opportunity to say where she was coming from in her acts.. what a bummer
The interviewers are so unprofessional, they don't even take Sharon's views and explanation into opinion. They just completely attack Sharon. This interview is terrible. Sharon is so obviously not racist, just listen to what Sharon says in the interview it obviously has a meaning. Those interviewers are rude and annoying. Sharon's art is not offensive it all has a meaning and makes sense.
This is ridiculous, they clearly just love the sound of their own pseudo-anti-racist voices, and are trying to get attention off the back of Sharon's talent and success. I'd have told them such and then asked them to pick their fucking window! Fortunately for them, Sharon is far more professional and dignified than I!
This is just an attack on Sharon Needles, an character. Characters do not need to be politically correct and Aaron views does not have to align with Sharon's.
This is the problem with social justice warriors - they so rarely understand or care for context. Congrats to Sharon for keeping it together, I would have walked away. It's not an interview, it's just two agitated individuals insulting her.
I like this video not because of the attackers trying to do good from a place of evil, but because it shows the part of Sharon that is a good person and spiritually awakened, and aware of the evil and try to bring it forth so we can see wat b.s. it really is. You go girl! Props!
I truly cannot believe that people who claim to be "professional" reporters would attack, demoralize, berate, and demean the art of an entertainer like Sharon Needles. I frankly think that these two people should be fired from their job, and never be allowed to work for any multi media company for attackinaron. I think that what people don't realize that drag in general in meant to shock people. What Sharon is doing is taking it further and making a point. If you're offended, then you're obviously not thinking about it in the same way and instead of attacking the performer you should look at it from a different perspective. What these people did was twist something that was taken out of context to being with and blow it up bigger then it ever was supposed to be. They attacked someone that really just wants to express their art. The second that the second that the female "reporter" said that she would never "see people like you or men like you for that matter ever again" this "interview" should have been over and someone should have sent them out of the building for harassing Sharon. And for the man, in that god-awful striped and floral print top, to go on the tangent about how Sharon "is putting racist thoughts" in peoples heads is totally outrageous. He actually shot himself in the foot by saying its all about context. Because is it all about the context, and maybe if they had don't some research and new what they were talking about they might have been able to better form actual questions and make an actual interview instead of attacking a fabulous entertainer like Sharon Needles. I will always be a Sharon Needles fan. I think that what she does is an art with an art and if anyone has an issue with her should just stop watching her. Stop trying to take away her voice and change her for the fans like me that love her for doing what she does.
Talk about oppression! These two interviewers are acting like they are teaching Sharon a lesson. She's an artist, don't oppress her you unprofessional hacks.
Sharon is amazing, kind, and not a racist. She's a shock artist. Like Marilyn Manson and I think he's a genius, these "journalists" or whoever the hell they are, are very unprofessional.
The title is very misleading. Sharon barely discussed anything, she was interrogated. I think Sharon has built her act on "shock value" and she needed to increase the controversy to keep increasing her fame. I do not support her use of the terms, but I hear twelve year old boys using it to speak to each other in the street and I see it painted on doors of toilet stalls and seats at school. Her costumes are what she said, costumes. Once again built on shock value. Am I personally offended by this? No. Do I think she should stop? Of course. Was this the right way to "discuss" it with her? Not at all.
SO RUDE nobody deserves this. if they're so worried about hurting people why did they have to hurt sharon? they're no better than what they're accusing sharon of! sharon stay strong :)
"I know my contemporaries feel the same way and I'm not here to please everybody." Spoken and handled like a true queen. We love you, Sharon. Keep doing what you do how you want to do it.
Wow. I had to watch this twice just to take in all of the personalities involved, and all of the things being communicated that were never said. The young lady journalist was clearly very intelligent and well spoken. It was unfortunate to see that potential, and raw talent, being used in such a misguided and inappropriate way. It seemed clear to me that the two journalists had really gotten themselves worked up prior to their opportunity to interview Sharon. As a result, no interview took place, only a desperate plea for an apology, that meant more to the interviewers for some personal reasons, of which we may never fully know. The young man clearly needed to both be liked by, and yet apologized to by Sharon. Others have correctly commented on his obvious insecurities, and personal pain surrounding his life experience to this point with being gay and a minority. Instead of hating on the interviewers, I chose to see them sympathetically, as people in personal pain, of which Sharon is neither truly tied to or responsible for. But my heart broke most deeply, in this very dark and emotionally raw dialogue, for Sharon. Sharon behaved in such a respectful and professional manner when engaging with the journalists, even long after it was clear that he was not in a setting where he was going to be treated respectfully or fairly. I am a bigger fan of Sharon now than I've ever been before seeing this interview. I'm sure Sharon has faults and has made many mistakes in life, as we all have. I don't need people to be perfect to earn my respect and admiration. Sharon, it's clear the price of fame is very high, and my thoughts are with you as you make your way, the best you can, in what must feel like very uncharted territory.
i was really concerned because i saw these allegations without context, and i really love sharon. but after reading these comments, i have much more clarification and im glad sharon is still the person i thought she was
So unprofessional. I am a gay and also a minority. I'm still pretty young (23) but over the course of the years, you learn to get tough skin... Being a minority in the gay community is NOT easy on any level, and frankly people who aren't a minority in the gay community should not be telling people how they should be feeling or that they are too sensitive. Just as opinions, people have a right to their emotions.. That being said, attacking Aaron like this accomplishes nothing.. The guy interviewing Aaron obviously was projecting a lot of his anger, sadness and rejection onto him. Hopefully he will get some psychological help to go through it.
Context is important but with using these shock tools for art you must have a very smart thought out plan and perfect execution.i think for most part Sharon absolutely feels that she has the perfect execution, I feel as if the interviewers didn't exactly come prepared for their job which isn't to come across accusatory but inquisitive.
Bro it’s so easy to just not say the N word lmaaoo you can be shocking and artistic without saying racist shit

"Get a grip, get a life and get over it"
girl…
This wasn't an interview or a discussion. This was attack, attack, attack, then needlepoint every counter he had to make. Kind of disgusting if you ask me.
“Accountability feels like an attack when you’re not ready to acknowledge how your behavior hurts others”
Now say that !? Defend this arsey bit h
Thank you for showing people that white homosexuals are just as racist and fragile as there white, straight counterparts
I can’t believe how many comments are defending Sharon. Wow.
It’s unfortunate how many gays don’t know their racist but somehow love Sharon
I'm not a Sharon fan but I would never put up with these 2 idiots. No way. Their personal struggles are NOT Sharons problem.
This has to be revisited and discussed in 2022.
an channel called GreenGay just made video about it today
And does! The comments coddling and feeling bad a man is being held accountable for racist acts are deplorable
I love how these people came out to sweep the white trash off the street.
Yeah girl, attack the shit out of him and then be offended when he says you're attacking him...Good thing the interviewers left so briskly they could clearly both do with some exercise!
Agree with the attack but not the exercise jab tut tut.
You're right everyone knows it's more about what you eat than how much you exercise. So maybe they should put down the cake and ice cream.
I can't stand the interviewers. I think as an interviewer you can't go into an interview with a biased opinion. They clearly were just jabbing at Sharon and then turn around and say "Yeah I know what you mean." They don't though. They just kept asking and prying over the same question. Sharon handled this very well!
I think I meant "Un-biased" lol
Sharon handled it very well, I don't think I would of been able to keep calm. There was no need for the rudeness. The guy kept saying, "I understand what you're saying" and then goes on to say how she isn't listening and then says "I'm not gonna go there"
You are an interviewer, he needs to grow up or change occupations.
Aaron in their context it came across like the translation to “I don’t care about what you’re saying, you’re only here to listen to me say...”
@Ellis definitely don’t and never will agree with what Sharon has down. I stated interviewers should not be biased during an interview. That’s all.
Aaron is a well spoken gent and graceful in this situation. This is not an interview.
I wonder what these commenters from 8-10 years ago think now?
i still stand firm in my belief.
You probably didn't get served because of that ignorant personality =)
We love you sharron. It's like you said, you take the darkest shit from humanity and put it out in the opened to remind us we can always overcome it.
Your white fragility is showing
Nothing has ever pissed me off as much as this fucking interview. For some reason I still watch this and it always makes me cry.
Lil' Pound Cake They were so rude and didn't even try to actually listen to him, they just kept pushing and pushing. I'm glad Aaron did not play their game and descended to their level.
It wasn’t an interview. It was an attack.
They treated Aaron like shit. It seemed more like a lecture than a discussion.
The woke mob is all about revenge and settling scores not about progress

I know they even made him cry makes me sick I love him! Wanted him to win so bad on Ru Paul and I’m so happy he did.
“Misunderstood” yet he said the n word you white gays really let anything slide
These two people who are asking questions are sooooo unprofessional. They're just annoying. Looking for a reason to be offended.
>Unprivleged people dislike being told how they're supposed feel/act.
>Respond by telling other people how they're supposed to feel/act.
as a former activist of color, I have to say that there's a point when you've got to stop being angry about the oppression you face and stop judging everyone who doesn't think exactly like you do. these activists were talking AT sharon and at one point started talking about times when they've been discrimintated against by other people. they just wanted someone to blame for everything that's gone wrong for them, and sharon was the new target. that doesn't feel like social justice to me.
They're coming from emotion and not even hearing Sharon's side.
What the fuck?
Is this an interview or a personal attack under the guise of "pro rights journalism"
Thank God most of these comments are from 10 years ago I hope the commenters are more open minded and not ignorant.
you are the open minded one? lol

Honestly though this interview went on way too long. They needed to give him some fucking space.
Continue being racist gets you far
I would be angered at these "reporters" but after watching them conduct themselves so unprofessionally I can rest assured that their immaturity will limit their voice. (AKA their success in that field of work) It was more or less watching two people bully someone with gossip and false accusations. Thank you Sharon for being as strong as you have been. Many would have broken before now. You are a great roll model and have helped many troubled people in this world. For the sake of the others that need your strength, please don't change.
'I always wanted to laugh at the shit that scared the shit out of me.."
love you Sharon, you're brilliant.
They obviously don't understand Post-Politically Correct humor.
I hate seeing Sharon this way :'(
The interviews attitude is why trump won in 2016.
I am a Hispanic woman who completely understands his work. It's symbolic, it's satire, it's beautiful.
The only people who need to publicly apologize are the two interviewers. Never have I seen such unprofessional and hostile conduct on behalf of the hosts. They are poor representations of this company and i hope to never see them in charge of anything involving guests/human interaction again.
Angry people can't interview.... Interviewer fail.
Keep it up. x
How about that, Sharon you rock
He's still white.
And he's still racist.
Sharon is amazing, kind, and not a racist. She's a shock artist. Like Marilyn Manson and I think he's a genius, these "journalists" or whoever the hell they are, are very unprofessional.
why the fuck is there so many people supporting sharons, its not spoken about enought SHARON IS A RASCISTTT. period
Not at all.
What context was the word used in??
I hope all these old commenters defending sharon feel embarrassed.

Aaron you are a deeply sensitive and considerate performer. You have my appreciation and support.
i was really concerned because i saw these allegations without context, and i really love sharon. but after reading these comments, i have much more clarification and im glad sharon is still the person i thought she was
So Happy you see the TRUTH 🥰🥰🥰
My soooo happy this was filmed.
