I still don't know why anyone on that show thought Silky should've stayed. Why did they think people would like her?
i think it's because her personality is so big and bold that they assumed she'd end up a fan favorite like Nina did? though, the difference between Silky and Nina is that Nina is actually compassionate towards other drag queens and does take criticism. Silky just ended up like Eureka, pretty much no one likes her from what i know, because loud doesn't equal interesting, and i don't think the producers understand that at all.

Trisha Lennex Vanjie deserved the finale more than Silky, but producers wanted drama with Yvie and Silky (why the hell they didn’t lip sync against each other in the finale???) and Brooke vs Vanjie (I loved them, I’m crying-)

Of course, my opinion is based solely on what I saw from her on the show, which to be fair to her I do have quite extensive criteria for the queens I do like, but that's just my thoughts on the matter. I didn't say she wasn't any of those things- just that the producers don't see that being a loud person doesn't immediately make you likeable in most people's eyes.

Just a stupid idea. Butterfly wings are incredibly delicate, keeping them in such a contained and unstable environment and expecting them to survive let alone be able able to fly is really foolish and pretty cruel.

Personally I don’t think Valentina practiced her lip sync that well because she thought she’d be safe or win. I get a bit of an arrogant vibe from her in this lip sync, I really do think she didn’t practice because she was sure she’d fly through the competition as usual. I think she was stunning but didn’t have as much of a personality as some of the queens.

The butterflies one actually made me sad when I watched it on drag race because I love butterflies and yeah... that was terrible. How would the butterflies get out of the room; they would be trapped. Also, some of them landed on the floor and were probibly trampled on at some point. In my opinion it was cruel. I could be over reacting though.

@@EpicxRevolution I think it was a combination of too many people on stage and Eureka not being eliminated after her first lip sync with Aquaria. More than 2 people in a lip sync can come across as messy since there's so much going on. I'm sure if it was just Kameron vs. Aquaria (like it should have been) it would have been stunning with Kameron's movement and Aquaria's confetti cannon. Sadly, keeping Eureka made everything look busy and fans that were fed up with her were probably annoyed that she wasn't eliminated like Asia.

Thinking about it now the stage did feel a little small and you’re right; a one on one with Aquaria and Kameron would have been stunning and not a fight for the stage . I can see the perspective of fans being tired of Eureka but the girl can turn it out. Asia sadly was deserving of that elimination.
I don't get how Silky even got to the top 4. She was unpolished, unoriginal and just plain sloppy on the catwalk and through out the competition.

You forgot to mention her being insufferable. She took away from Shuga's Pink Carpet entrance and tried to ruin it with hers. During which she walked in 5 feet before taking off her heels. She also was rude and interrupted Meatball for what seemed forever during DragCon for a Hornet channel interview on TH-cam. So many other things I could mention. The woman made Eureka seem like your best Judy.

What makes the Silky/Nina one so much better is that Silky spent the entire time saying how she hoped she could lip sync against Yvie to send her home. Yvie pulled out probably the best lip sync in Drag Race history with Brooklyn and Silky literally got a 'meh'. Even in the finals Silky asked to lip sync against Brooklyn because she couldn't stand losing to Yvie.

Valentina absolutely did not forget her words... She didn't even bother to learn them in the first place, because she thought they would never place her In the bottom 2. She thought she was untouchable and her place in the competition would be secure till the end and she would be saved from the bottom every time. it also isn't a hard song to learn, so it's very irritating. U see these queens arent just given these songs at the time of the Lipsync or a few days before hand, they are given an ipod with a set list of songs that may be lipsync songs and are told which one it is a few days before hand. At the beginning of the season and the queens are asked to learn the words to them and if they wind up in the bottom to create a lipsync performance to said lipsync song of the week. Nina got so much hate from Valentina's fans after she sent her home, when all she did was what was asked of her... Lipsync the words and perform...
