When am I even supposed to be there ? And also , is Campus Key within a safe walking distance to the school & approximately how many minutes far?
Looking at our current leadership at the university...the racial tension is simmering because people of colour are getting into leadership positions and we love to see it! With that in mind...inclusivity seems like one of the university’s priorities because they even have bursaries specifically for people of colour as a way to recruit more black and brown people. I have experienced some racism though and micro aggressions but they weren’t from university staff or the university as the institution...it was from a student but the residence leaders made sure to deal with it and educate them on the world we are living in. You’ll meet a lot of white afrikaans kids who aren’t used to being around black and brown people and you’ll see it. But it honestly doesn’t bother me because they’re not in my circle and they don’t affect me in any way regardingto getting my education because Stellenbosch the university doesn’t care what colour I am. I am a Stellenbosch Student and that’s the only thing that matters to the university. So I get the best education in this country ❤️
But I talked about this here 😭😭😭 We have catering (res food) and you can cook for yourself in the kitchen areas with your own appliances and cooking things though
Also talked about this yoh wena 😂👐🏼 The room is big enough to bring two MINI FRIDGES (And I’m only speaking for women’s residences - mens reses are sometimes bigger )
