He didn't put them in the back but had them as an essential part of his choreography. They proudly called themselves "Team Kai" . So, Kai and his team gave us some of the most memorable kpop moments. To me, that is King's behaviour.
At the start there, those 2 dancing with Kai are the choreographers, Badalee and Mihawkback. Vata, the other choreographer for this dance, was in the film with Badalee.
I spent a good 2 weeks trying to learn this with my dance teacher and in the end we decided we couldnt do it and moved on to something we could actually attempt and not butcher
