I'm a twenty five year old woman who had always desired ballet in my heart but was convinced it could never be for me. I was too big boned, too ugly, too inflexible, too poor, and now, too old. Last night I was watching a dance on TH-cam and I wanted so badly to be like the ballerina in the video that with little hope I looked up if it were possible to learn at home. I wasn't expecting any good news. I was expecting people to say it was impossible to learn without a studio, that it was too late to learn. I was met with encouragement and hope. Ballerinas young and old, new and veterans all saying it was possible. My mind was made then. Now I'm going to be a ballerina. I made the decision last night and have felt like I've been walking on air ever sense. I don't know why I'm so emotional about it but the joy and hope I have of being a ballerina brings tears to my heart, and it's all thanks to encouraging and kind ballerinas like you!
Oh, I am SO DELIGHTED you have decided to pursue your dreams of doing ballet! Thank you so much for your comment-I think so many feel as you do... that somehow ballet can’t be for them no matter how much they love it... Ballet is for EVERYONE who wants its grace and power in their lives! CONGRATULATIONS on taking the first step on YOUR ballet journey! Brava! 👏🎉🍾🩰💕
I can relate! I'm 46 and just found this channel. My friend has started pop-up ballet classes for adults. I'm so excited! I hope you've been pursuing ballet and found you love it!! ❤
I’m 19 and I’ve always wanted to be a pretty ballerina. I still want to start while I’m young. I feel like this will really bring out my femininity. ♥️
So glad you found Everyday Ballet! Yes, ballet is wonderful for feeling strong, graceful, and feminine! It's unlike anything else! AND the lessons you learn in ballet will stay with you for a lifetime. It's a wonderful time to begin!
I tried doing ballet when I was younger and I enjoyed it for the 2 months I did it, unfortunately someone stole my ballet shoes (not from the safest neighbourhood) and we couldn’t afford new ones. I’m now 22 and I have just bought some and this video helped a lot and while I’ll be sticking to TH-cam for a while, once Covid is over I hope to start an actual class near me. Thank you for taking the time to answer all these questions, I really appreciate it 😊
I‘m a 14 year old girl and I found Ballett a few weeks ago and I’m already obsessed with that kind of dance! My parents would like me to do some sports like karate but I am really into classical things so they won’t support me I think, but I wont give up^^ Glad I found your channel!
Me too! I am cheering for you to do ballet and hope you will pursue it on your own with my channel. The lessons you learn for your body and mind will last a lifetime. Keep doing what you love!!!!
this is so empowering because like i just want to do ballet as a hobby and i don’t want a really harsh strict teacher and paying an instance amount of money to learn a hobby.. and also thank you so much for this video and all your others ! 🥺
I am obsessed with ballet. My dad said he wont let me dance and he said i can’t because i have a kinda fat belly . But i will learn from home to prove him wrong! I will be a great ballerina
Girl don’t listen to your dad, I’m 24 and just starting for the sake of my balance, strength, flexibility, and most importantly my posture. Ballet can be so good for your body and confidence if you’re in a good environment (aka my house by myself💅) but regardless, I’ve done many sports horse back riding, climbing, dance, softball, etc. and not once has my belly got in the way! You might loose some of it but it will never stop you❤️
I see the comments from wonderful teenagers that wanted to learn ballet. Well, I am 47. Beat breast cancer and this is my stress relief. Love it! Always wanted to learn and never had the funds or time. This is perfect!
hi, i’m 15 and i wanted to start ballet since i was like idk 7? i never actually got a chance to learn it bc i’m kind of a shy kid hahah i’m so glad i found your channel
@@JoseEspinoza90044 yes!! i’m in a ballet class in a small school in my town! i love the atmosphere and how nice people are there, it’s been a year and i’m reallt glad u started
@@ameliaczura111 I am excited for you. I just dance for fun. If I could ask how old are you? How many classes do you take for dance? Do you have an extensive leotard collection? Are you on Facebook and Instagram?
I was neglected and abused as a child, my parents didn’t want to take the time or spend money on me to do dancing, I felt so out of place and just wished I’ve started dancing sooner.
I am so sorry to hear you have suffered in this way. I hope that you are getting the support that will help you heal from these traumas. And I hope you will find some joy and solace in doing ballet now that you can give yourself this gift. You can begin ballet at any point in your life and it will bring beauty for you to enjoy in your body, heart, & soul!
I love love love hearing a professional explain something difficult so simply. Thanks so much for all of this! I'm almost 55, no experience, going to start anyway. :-)
So glad you are enjoying my videos! And kudos to you for starting your ballet journey! It's never too late to begin--in fact, many of my clients are in their 50's and beyond! Ballet is truly one of the loveliest ways to hone posture, flexibility, balance, coordination, and core strength in any decade of life... But even more than the physical benefits, ballet connects us to our innate sense of beauty through our own bodies. This is so rewarding as well! I wish you the very best on your ballet adventure! If you're looking for more structured online ballet training, please check out my BALLERINA BODY programs at www.everydayballet.com/become-a-member/ Hope this helps! :-D Kind regards, Tiekka
I am 15 and lives in a country where I can never find a place in learn ballet it’s a rural country And I really wanted to learn ballet Thanks a lot I love you ❤️❤️
I’m overweight and out of shape after being fit for years. I’m super discouraged with my lack of strength and endurance. I’ve always been interested in ballet. I took it as a child and loved it but wasn’t able to continue. Doing this at home now as part of my challenge to myself to be more active again 😊
I apologize for the delayed response as I've been away for the holidays... Happy New Year! I hope it will be filled with health, peace, confidence, and joy for you! I hope you won't feel discouraged... The fact that you are reconnecting with what you love is a sign of strength and hope! The endurance will build and there is no need to judge yourself or your progress--these will come with time and a little patience. Mostly, I hope you will take time to feel and do what you love and to be kind to yourself always. As a ballet teacher, I can tell you that how we think of ourselves makes a big difference in how we move. My hope is always to teach people the ballet movements AND the dignity, grace, and poise they convey. Learning this elevates the spirit just as much as it conditions the body. I hope you have a glorious New Year doing what brings you joy! 🥰🩰✨
i wanted to do ballet as a kid, but we were too poor for it. i got into gymnastics for a bit since classes were cheaper, it was great and helped me get more flexible. i don’t do well in anything super structured, so ballet isn’t really for me, but i wanna learn a little bit just so i can be more graceful in life!
I’m 13, I had to miss a couple years of ballet for my surgeries but now I’m skipping straight to grade 5 bc that’s where I was when I left off. I’m just re teaching myself the basics
I'm so excited to get back into ballet! I love how it how makes me feel- more joy and confidence and so much more grateful for my body and all it can do
That's marvelous! Yes, developing that relationship of gratitude with our bodies is such an important life lesson. It's a beautiful perspective that lets in joy and health! Congratulations on rediscovering ballet!
I'm 58 and I'm starting ballet! haha Started 2 days ago. Just dawned on me, HEY! I can take Ballet via TH-cam! I'm always looking for more ways to incorporate movement into my life. Always wanted to take ballet when I was little but I was already taking piano so my parents said no. Also, my best friend was taking ballet and my parents figured I only wanted take ballet because of my friend. Thank you!
You’re so welcome! I’m glad you’re enjoying my videos! It’s never too late to invite ballet’s beauty and grace into your life! Not only is it great exercise, but it also touches the soul. Congratulations on beginning your ballet journey! Brava! 👏👏💕🌸🩰
I recently started watching pointe shoe videos, I just wanted to start doing ballet at home! I’ve actually never done ballet so this definitely helped me, thank you!
Lol i also started watching pointe shoes videos and other ballet related things. I also started cheerleading and i realized stretching and working out is fun.
As a professional ballet dancer who quitted ballet in 2016 i want to start again even tho I'm 21 years old I've lost my pirouettes due to not dancing for 9 years this video helped me so much i learned from this video and performed in nationals i won first place thank you so much ma'am if you didn't post this video i could've lost the passion for ballet love you ❤
I studied classical ballet at 5 years old, then again at 21, and now many, many years later I restarted my adult journey about 7 months ago and found your channel. I love it! Since I am older nothing is as easy as it once was and my flexibility is very limited but finding your channel has changed my whole experience and made me realize my love of ballet has always been with me even thru all the dormant years of not doing it. Gentle, gentle movement is how I proceed and I love that you teach in such a way for all beginners and older adults. You are a true inspiration and such a talent 🧚♀ Thank you
Thank you for your kind words! I am so delighted you are enjoying my lessons! Ballet is such a journey of dignity and grace-it can’t just be for the young and flexible!! You have the exact right idea of moving gently and honoring where you are at. This approach will lead you into the most powerful of places in yourself! Strength, grace, joy-they are all yours when you go gently and steadily. BRAVO!! 👏🏻👏🏻💗✨🩰

Hi guys, I am the same age and (apart from using these wonderful videos) haven't danced since I was 11 - and I just wanted to ask you whether you experience any issues with painful or stiff hip flexor and iliotibial band syndrome (i am an ex rider and runner and so lots of issues with these!🤣) and if so, do you have any advice you could share, please, on how to work through it and improve it in order to dance without pain? Is it even possible?! Thank you so much for any advice!
I am currently 14 and I have a really strong desire to do ballet like really,I thought I would need some proper classes but no! This video really has been so helpful and it encourages me so much!
I just started ballet today at home, and I am really enjoying it! This was a great introduction that answered a lot of questions. Can't wait to see more!
I did ballet for several years when I was young, so I still do well as an adult after 20 years. During covid time I ordered shoes again and have been having fun since. I encourage you all just start to dance, it is easier than you think.
I'm 12, and did ballet as a child. I've always wanted to get started again but never had the material or confidence! I'm so glad I found your channel!!!
Ballet has been one of my biggest dreams yet and I want to learn at home because.. money, and honestly finding balance is kinda scary to me but I'm determined so this helps thank you!!
So glad to have found this. I was in ballet as a child but moved country and never found a new ballet studio. Now I barely remember the basics. Classes are so expensive and out of budget at the moment and my self confidence is in the gutter about my body and would hate to go to traditional classes and be told I’m too big. I also live in a flat with little space and fully carpeted which gives me the literal ick but oh well it’s not forever. Found this as I was looking to see if carpet would be okay, so thank you and now I’m a subscriber and going to make this my primary channel for all things ballet!❤
Thanks for the tip about where to place the screen. I’ve been twisting back and forth to see what the instructor is doing. Now I will put the video on the big TV screen on the opposite side of the toon. You are a wonderful, generous, gracious woman!
You’re so welcome! Glad my suggestions helped! You definitely want to have an easier visual field so you can focus on what’s important without contorting yourself. Thank you for your kind words! 🙏💖🩰
i’m a 13 year old who has always dreamed of doing ballet but my parents always said no so now i’m going to start by watching youtube videos on line because they’re free and i’m going to be picking up all the little details i need and once i can drive i’m going to take ballet classes in person ballet has always been a dream of mine and since my mom passed away i have had no one to take me anywhere so it’s been tough and i’m excited i can try and start now :)
I'm an Indian classical dancer, been dancing most of my life which is 11 years as of now I'm 14, I really want to explore new dance forms ballet being one of them... Thanks for the video 😊
I love Indian classical dance!! I actually took a course in it-so beautifully intricate… How wonderful that you are a dancer! I think you will find that Indian classical dance and ballet share some facets, particularly in the posture, bending of the knees, and sensitivity of the hands/fingers. So glad you found my channel, and I hope you enjoy doing ballet! 🥰🙏🌸🩰
Im 12 and I really want to become a dancer but I’m not flexible and I’m insecure I’m gonna use your tips and I hope one day I’ll be as good as you! Thank you for the help 🥰
You're so welcome! Just be patient and kind with yourself and PRACTICE. The secret for doing anything well comes down to consistent practice! I wish you all the best for doing ballet!
Your videos are so beautiful and you are so patient, gentle and kind in the way you teach. I love your skirts, too. Thank you for these truly beautiful videos. ❤️
Thank you for such kind words! I have been buoyed by ballet throughout my life and understand how much it enriches everything I do. To share its loveliness is such a deep honor & privilege! I really appreciate that you feel the spirit of my teaching-THAT makes me so HAPPY!!! (And I’ll be doing some videos on my favorite attire soon 😘) 🥰✨🩰🙏
@@everydayballet I hope everyone who wants to learn ballet will find your beautiful series! I wish my ballet teacher had known about the pencil trick for teaching ballet hands! I was naturally able to have graceful hands/fingers, but many other little girls in my classes weren't and had clunky looking sloppy hands with fingers tightly together. I hated it and it used to drive me crazy looking at it! One last thing, I am currently recovering ftom a paralyzing stroke (14 mo ago). My years of ballet have helped immensely with valance and strength as I learned to walk again. My hips are externally rotated pretty far and my physical therapist call try to jerk my legs to make my toes point forward bug they naturally don't; they're much more Chaplines que. 🤣. My ballet training helps immeasurably as I'm continuing to recover mobility. Also, I definitely do NOT have a dancers body. I am far too tall to have ever been a prima (which is what I wanted since the age of 5). I am 5'11" and about 200 lbs. So I hope no one will let physical size/makeup stop them from experiencing the beauty and grace of ballet. Looking forward to the video(s) about attire, and I would love to see a video about leg positions (you may already have one that I haven't found yet): sur le coup de pied, possé, attitude, arabesque. Thank you again!.
Wow-what a journey you have been having… I am so glad to hear your ballet training is helping your recovery. ❤️🩹 It sounds like you have wonderful physical awareness and a natural aesthetic sensibility. (I love your descriptor “Chaplinesque”-that’s perfect! 😄) I don’t yet have videos about those positions, but these are great suggestions! I’ll put these on my list… In the meantime, all best wishes to you for a steady and thorough recovery. Thank you for taking the time to share yourself and your love of ballet! 🙏💖🩰
Hello. I'm a 19 yo girl and I'm not flexible. Do i still have the chance to dance ballet well ( especially the splitting parts 😁..) Also thank you so much for this video!!
Hi! Thanks so much for your question! The answer is YES. You don't have to be flexible to start ballet. Ballet training will help you to become more flexible over time. You can start with my stretching video here on TH-cam to help your flexibility along. The important thing is to work with steadiness, kindness, and consistency! You'll be amazed how much your body will respond!
I'm so glad! The reason I teach ballet is to offer warm, compassionate, & effective training to everyone who wants ballet's beauty & power in their lives. I hope you'll join me for more ballet! Thanks so much for your note
@@everydayballet Im truly delighted to have found your channel !Thank you for your heartwarming reply and words And for making it possible! Forever subscribed♡♡
Yes I went to a class when I was 4 & loved it but my sis had the final say so we couldn’t go again. Then when she was 15 she started it while I was told I was too tall, I was heart-broken. My identity is important and I’m going to do this anyway 🤍
Omg thank you so much! I'm 17 and i go to a school in Sweden where there's dancers and I'm a musician and last year I always watched the dancers dance ballet and I was so fascinated by everything. I told my mother I wanted to start ballet but she said it was too hard and that people start when they're really young. Now, one year later I'm so determined to do this. I'm gonna take courses. The dancers and the dance teacher in my school says I really can dance and I can't explain my admiration for ballet. I love it.
Hi I danced ballet for 10 years of my life since my 3 years old until 13 and when my body changed I was dismissed from the academy due to this changes. Now I'm 40 and I found my body and legs still have record of all that work when I tried to do some moves im still flexible, so im returning back. This video helps me to remember all over again. Awesome video im thankful. Greetings
Wonderful! 👏👏 Yes, “muscle memory” runs deep, and I’m not surprised your body was able to do the movements like it was last week instead of 25 years ago! I’m just sad to hear you were dismissed from training because of factors beyond your control. That’s one of the reasons I specialize in teaching ballet to adults. Ballet is just too wonderful and should be enjoyed by EVERYBODY!! So glad you found my channel! Welcome back to ballet!!! 🎉🌸💕🩰
@@everydayballet thank u so much for answering me! What u do is simple awesome! I stopped ballet at 13 years old with no hope to return I was told I was no longer useful for it put me into a deep depression it was my dream to get far. I kept dancing other rhythms all this years. Ballet is my first love. I started with basic moves and I was surprised for the level of flexibility and strength in my legs. Now thanks to u and your videos I'll refresh it all. I don't know if u are aware of what you do to all of us who desire to dance! Thank u so much for doing all this videos. U definitely returned my hope back. I send u a big hug🤗. Hi. As a child I always wanted to do ballet but I was a chubby girl and I understood that most people believe girls like me don't belong with the dancers. There were some school activities that forced me to dance alongside classmates but all they ever did was laugh at how sloppy and disgusting I was whenever I moved. This made me stray away from dancing because I finally accepted that dancing isn't for me. Now, I'm 20 years old and I could still remember the time I wanted to dance ballet and your video gave me so much hope. I wish I could learn with you and slowly overcome my anxiety issues with regard to dancing in general. Thank you.

There is a sweet lady in her late 70s whose husband runs sound for dance performances at the studio I danced at for 20+ years (I only can go when time allows these days, so I do videos at home a lot instead). Six months of physical therapy following ankle surgery failed her and she has been unable to walk. As a last ditch effort to help her to walk again, the studio director encouraged her to try class and just do tendus and other foot exercises while seated in front of a barre. You know, she regained some use of her foot and can now use a walker to get around some! So, disability or otherwise, ballet is for you! You never know what you will achieve at any age.
It's my dream to be as graceful as ballerinas~ Everytime I'm alone at home, I spin around and end up on the floor. Couple of diary notebooks have been replaced but some dreams will always be written.
I am so happy that i Found this Video! It's nice to read all these comments from people who also want to start Dancing. I am 18 but i had 3 Operations on one of my feet Almost 10 years ago and now i have almost no Flexibility i that foot. I really really wanna do Ballett but i dont know if i can do that because of my foot. I don't know how i can improve my flexibility so i can stand on my toes. (I dont have so much strength in that foot either)
Thanks for watching--I'm really glad you found the Everyday Ballet channel! Ballet will help you get more strength and flexibility in all parts of your body! The key is to begin slow and steady to really get good form with the basic movements. With practice (and good form) you will be amazed at how much you will improve... I cannot say if you will be able to do pointe (but you don't need to do that to get all the benefits of ballet). Here's a link to learn more about my Ballerina Body complete online ballet training system: www.everydayballet.com/become-a-member/ Hope this helps and that you'll join me for more training! :-D
Hey I am 13 and I wanted to try it but it's too expensive and I am a little bit heavier side and I am real inflexible and I am glad I could find your channel I after a few months I will ask my mom to bye some kind of ballerina flats i recently ended a type of traditional dance form Bhartnatyam and i left it after 5 years cause i didn't like it anymore and i am going to start fresh with ballet, and a tragedy struck my dad died in 2020 and I think this will help to cope better with it and plus I will get a new hobby
I have been doing ballet since I was 4 yrs old but stopped when I was 11 yrs old cus the teacher really didn’t like me im now 16 and I hope to get back into it again for real
I’m 18 and I’ve always wanted to do ballet but my mom always said that my large toes would break if I ever tried and then I got Arthritis in all my joints so I basically gave up on that dream. Now I’m older learned more about ballet and know my mother was totally wrong and my Arthritis has subsided so I’m gonna try it out I just hope I’m not too old
I am so excited to start this journey! I am a visual artist and I have always enjoyed going to the ballet, so many artforms come together to deliver that beautiful performance. Now that I want to give more attention to my health and body, I have decided to give ballet a go :) thank you so much!
I'm so glad you want to do ballet! As a visual artist, I think you will appreciate all the detail and aesthetics that go into the movements. I have always taken great pleasure in art, music, and dance. For me, ballet brings that love and curiosity right home to my body. I hope you will find great joy and benefit on your ballet journey! Brava!
I've only had a couple lessons in College but have always wanted to practice Ballet and I am in love with these videos! 🙂 I thought I would ask if someone is having ankle and arch pain if slippers would be helpful over socks?
I'm so glad you found Everyday Ballet! Thanks for watching! Ballet slippers don't really provide any support. Rather, they provide the right kind of "feel" against the floor which allows you to slide your feet against the floor without slipping around. Your ankle an arch pain may be due to weakness in these areas. Also, you may be over-rotating the feet in turnout. Please watch my Turnout video for those tips, especially the part about rolling forward in the feet and ankles. This will also cause stress in these areas. Hope this helps!
i am 14 years old. I have always wanted to do ballet. Life hasn't been great but I gave up my dream of being a ballet at 9. I really want to do learn ballet. I am not flexible at all and having strict parents none of them supports me. I really love ballet and I want to do it but and i want to try this time. I want to learn basic things and start. Im happy i found this it answers a lot of my questions. Now i just need some space which i pray that i have as I'm I'm under supervision. Its really hard being made fun of at my own house(my environment is toxic) but this is my last shot at ballet. I dont know any good tutorials.
I am sorry to hear you have so many struggles trying to do something you care about. But I am glad you have found my channel, and I hope you will use it to begin to learn ballet. Don't give up! I publish videos each week, so I hope you will follow along. It's very important to do what you love and care about. I hope doing some ballet with me will bring you happiness.
I am a 17 year old who loves to figure skate but due to covid I couldn't visit the rink for a year. It's now open but I am a little afraid of covid. Mask is hard to breathe in, I can't go as often as I would like to. I decided even if I can't be on the ice at all times I might as well start ballet.
I always wanted to do ballet but price issues and I had a single mom and 2 siblings so money was scarce but I’m 14 now and I’m starting this summer thanks to my gg! I am not at all flexible at all so I have about 1 month to fix that and get in shape so that I’m not huffing and puffing
Thanks for your questions! 1. Anytime is a good time to begin ballet! Those seeking to become professional dancers usually start at a younger age, but enjoying ballet and even performing are always options even if you don't go pro. 2. You don't need pointe shoes. In fact, it's important NOT to wear pointe shoes unless you have the proper strength and technique to do so. It takes months to years of dedicated ballet training to be ready for pointe shoes. To start out, all you need are socks or ballet slippers. If you're doing ballet regularly, get some ballet slippers. Hope this helps! :-D
hi! i take a contemporary class at my dance studio but i've always wanted to do ballet as well. i've been searching for a high school and for the ones i want to go to they require ballet training. they also require a audition video. i watched the ballet video and woah there's a lot! so glad i found this. can you please make some videos like an actual day in class?
We are 14 and learning ballet. Ballet dance is not practiced in our country. not even So me and my sister are learning it together and we want to establish it in our country. We have a question what else do you need to learn ballet?
That’s wonderful that you want to bring ballet to your lives and the lives of others!! 👏🏻🎉🩰💕 To start you don’t need much at all. Later when you have experience, you’ll want to get some proper ballet slippers. You will also need a bit more space to move. But in the beginning you just need some socks, something to use as a barre, a little space, and the desire to learn something beautiful!! 💕✨🩰
You are so energetic and kind teacher, thank you. I want to know is there any curriculum for learning basic movements? I mean how can I practice in order to learn all of the basic from A-Z. I'm 26 years old beginner ballet student.
Thank you for your kind words! To learn ballet from the very beginning, I suggest my Ballerina Body BASIC program. It is very structured and thorough and sounds like it’s exactly what you are looking for! Here’s the link: www.everydayballet.com/ballerina-body Hope this helps! 🙏💖🩰🌸

I’m fat and I want to learn ballet
Brava! 👏🎉🍾🩰💕
@@everydayballet I'm crying again. 😭
Did you ever start dancing?
I can relate! I'm 46 and just found this channel. My friend has started pop-up ballet classes for adults. I'm so excited! I hope you've been pursuing ballet and found you love it!! ❤
This is great! You should never give up on your dreams! What often seems imposible is everyday closer if you work for it constantly 💕
Thank you for taking the time to answer all these questions, I really appreciate it 😊
So glad you’ve decided to start ballet again! 🤗🩰🌷
I‘m a 14 year old girl and I found Ballett a few weeks ago and I’m already obsessed with that kind of dance! My parents would like me to do some sports like karate but I am really into classical things so they won’t support me I think, but I wont give up^^
Glad I found your channel!

It wonderful that you've started to learn ballet! 15 is a great age to start because the lessons you learn from ballet will last a lifetime! :-D

There were some school activities that forced me to dance alongside classmates but all they ever did was laugh at how sloppy and disgusting I was whenever I moved. I am 53 and disabled...àlways wanted to be á ballerina...now I can it at home ❤❤❤❤❤
I’m so delighted you found my channel! Yes, you can dance with me at home-Welcome!! 🥰🎉🩰
I have a barre and equipment and my bestfriend wants to start ballet (we live together) and I wanted to help her start ballet at home :)
That's wonderful! Ballet is a great thing to share with friends!
You... Have a ybc PFP.......... 🤢..
It's my dream to be as graceful as ballerinas~ Everytime I'm alone at home, I spin around and end up on the floor.
Couple of diary notebooks have been replaced but some dreams will always be written.
💗🩰🌸
Here's a link to learn more about my Ballerina Body complete online ballet training system:

Hope this helps and that you'll join me for more training! :-D
I'm 12 and I really wanted to do ballet as a kid but I never got to, so thank you :)
I’m so glad you found my videos! It’s never too late to do something you love! 💕🩰🌸
I’m really sorry to hear about your dad. I hope that starting ballet will bring some beauty into your life and ease your grief. 💕
Thank you for your words and I am really looking forward to doing this and my summer vacation is starting soon that means I will do it even more
Wonderful!
I have been doing ballet since I was 4 yrs old but stopped when I was 11 yrs old cus the teacher really didn’t like me im now 16 and I hope to get back into it again for real
Wonderful! I hope you reconnect with ballet! 💕👏🏻🩰
I have some questions!!
1. Do I need leotards?
2. Do I need a ballet skirt?
3. Do I need a ballet outfit?
Hi! You don't need any of these to start ballet. All you need is some comfortable exercise clothes and a pair of socks. :-D
@@everydayballet okay!! The clothes I am wearing now are comfortable!! But I will change- I'm practicing an Arobasque!-
I’m 18 and I’ve always wanted to do ballet but my mom always said that my large toes would break if I ever tried and then I got Arthritis in all my joints so I basically gave up on that dream. Now I’m older learned more about ballet and know my mother was totally wrong and my Arthritis has subsided so I’m gonna try it out I just hope I’m not too old
You are NOT too old! It’s never too late to learn/do something you love! 💕🩰✨
Brava!
Did you ever start taking ballet classes?
Do you still practice ballet?
i am 14 years old.
I know it has been so difficult to do the things we love during Covid-19, but I am very glad you are considering ballet! I wish you all the best! 💕🩰🌸
I always wanted to do ballet but price issues and I had a single mom and 2 siblings so money was scarce but I’m 14 now and I’m starting this summer thanks to my gg! I am not at all flexible at all so I have about 1 month to fix that and get in shape so that I’m not huffing and puffing
I’m so glad to hear you are starting ballet! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💖🩰
I have 2 questions
1. Do you think it’s to late to start to ballet at 13 years old even if you kinda knows some steps?
2. Do you need point shoes?
Thanks so much for watching! I hope you'll find a lot of useful information on my channel! I'm making more videos so please stay tuned! :-D
We are 14 and learning ballet. Ballet dance is not practiced in our country. not even So me and my sister are learning it together and we want to establish it in our country. We have a question what else do you need to learn ballet?
That’s wonderful that you want to bring ballet to your lives and the lives of others!! 👏🏻🎉🩰💕
To start you don’t need much at all. Later when you have experience, you’ll want to get some proper ballet slippers. You will also need a bit more space to move. But in the beginning you just need some socks, something to use as a barre, a little space, and the desire to learn something beautiful!! 💕✨🩰
@@everydayballet Hundreds of thanks our special Master.🖤💙
I love your videos ❤️❤️
Thank you! I’m so glad you enjoy them! 🥰🩰✨

Here’s the link:
