Thanks for your comment. To calculate BW, need Baud rate (symbol rate per second, in one second how much data transmitted) example- 32GBaud , in one second 32G transmitted. Then how many bits in one symbol example 8QAM - 3 Bits So BW transmitted in one second = 32*3 = 96G Depends on Polarization if single total BW is 96 G if dual 96*2 = 192G Hope this clear, please feel free to share your suggestion/feedback.
@@OpticsTrans No that's not the BW. In your example, 192G is the datarate and 32G is the Baudrate or symbol rate. BW is related to the baudrate which is the switching speed of the signal.
@@sunnyboy866 192G is the datarate , No, its RAW BW using dual-polarization (maximum amount of data that can be transferred per second on a link). Data rate (speed of data transmission) 150G, channel is transmitting 150 Gbps data per second on one pol. mode.
@@sunnyboy866 What the BW in your example?. as per my understanding 25Gbaud rate, QPSK(One carrier carry 2 bits) , with dual-pol. 4 bits per symbol and getting 100G

Please make a video on How to design a 1000 km dwdm link.i mean what all would be the requirements, how many Amplifiers, oadms etc will be used.

HI SIR..WHY WE APPLIED DATA SIGNAL..PLEASE EXPLAIN

Good contains . Any contact address
Your formulas look reversed: Symbol rate = Bit rate/number of bits per symbol. Also, the Raw BW = Bit rate/(number of bits per symbol * Polarization)

That's wrong. Bandwidth is related to the symbol rate and not the Bit rate. E.g 100G DP-QPSK require electronics to work at 25GHz and not at 100G
