What a great idea of combining the daily and the work journals. I've seen some published books like that but never thought of trying it myself! And you are a brave soul. If I had painted the edge of the papers, you can bet they would have stuck together!! And I was afraid of using inks on my gel plate. I guess I thought they would have stained it? But even so, is that a big deal??? I think my "scaredy cat" persona limits my ability to "just try it"! As a nurse, there aren't a lot of times you can just try something. Although with my Deaf kids and my Spinal Cord kids, we did try a lot of "unheard of" things! They were great creatives with very little fear of anything. But that may be kids and I've lost that as I've aged. Fabulous job, great idea, and thanks for sharing. I have really enjoyed watching the composition book transformations. My gel press is definitely colored due lots of use….as long as it is working, I don’t need it to look pretty😂. This is where art and science separate-mistakes are embraced and change the direction of the project, you didn’t have that free-wheeling, carefree concept with nursing! As many are, so very grateful for the time you have invested in caring for others! Carry on and color outside of those lines!!
Hi, Great video! I especially liked the way you used the gold paste to highlight the raised areas on the cover. I'm curious if you found that doubling up the two notebooks the way you did was helful to your journaling/note-taking process? Are you glad you combined the two activities into one "journal? Thanks!!
Thank you and Great question-I did like the separation but I wound up using it for just my you tube channel and separated it with video ideas and channel growth. It works well for that !
