Haven't watched the video yet, but to answer your question, girl, you could give a makeover to a literal stick and we would be excited to see it. Do what makes you happy!!
Me: It’d be nice if she doesn’t flatiron the yarn this time so it has a cute natural texture to it, but it’d probably be harder for her so- Poppen: I was going to straighten the braids, but I really like these natural looking curls! Me: God is real
@Shayshaylex I used to be terrified of dolls. Thanks to Merina, I can stand to watch her and several others do makeovers. The only part that gets to me is the removal of the hair and glue. Lol
I think using Clawdeen was a great idea because there's more of a difference and the end results are absolutely amazing! She looks stunning!! Mattel have recently released Ken dolls with a Ryan Gosling face sculpt and I thought you could turn him into another Ryan Gosling character from one of his other films!
Perfect as usual! ❤ How about making Jeniffer Conelly's character in the iconic Labyrinth (1986)? I think both you and your mom would do an extraordinary job 🥰
ohh! this is a way better idea, remaking them as is didn't spark interest for me but this would be cool at least for elphaba. but with Glenda to Ariana, that's not much of a transformation.
Another idea for the official dolls: a style swap! What if Elphaba was the pink, bubbly Good Witch and Galinda was the darker, misunderstood Wicked Witch?
Oh yes! Princess Anastasia would be the best! I loved the Anastasia movie! Oooh Thumbelina! Produced by the same folks! Becomes a literal fairy princess! Grows wings & everything! I’d like to see that doll too!
My whole entire existence I have been calling the wicked green witch Theodora...this is the first time I hear of her being called Elphaba 😮😮😮 Mama Atelier is amazing, fantastic job with that outfit,is so detailed and gorgeous....and I still sadly say that I miss the old Poppen that went out of her way to get any doll's head and would work her magic to transform it to the carbon copy of the character 😢😢😢
Wicked isn’t canon and wasn’t created by Frank Baum, so while Glinda was kept from the original book, the other characters were made up, hence the wicked witch being named Elphaba.
Well, it's Elphaba in "Wicked". It's Theodora in "Oz The Great And Powerful". Neither of which (witch LOL) are taken from Baum's "The Wonderful Wizard Of Oz". Both just used some characters liberally. Like "Wicked" using Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tin Man and the Cowardly Lion as a backstory to the main story of Elphaba and Glinda (Galinda). So, calling her Theodora isn't wrong. It's just a difference between Wicked and Oz TGAP. 🤷🏻♀
The writer of wicked explained that the name came from the initials of the writer of the wonderful wizard of Oz as a way to honour him since he was borrowing his character and making it his own. L.F.B. ended up as Elphaba
Would definitely like to see you make over the official Wicked dolls. Glad you didn't try to straighten the braid like hair because it would take away the twisted texture that made it look like braids. Doing black hair especially braids or locs or twists or even fros is a art form of practice because our texture is so different. You can do something much w/ black hairstyles but you would need to practice and watch tutorials. You did a good job on her though & you made her w/ your own style. Very pretty doll! Love it! 💜🤗
The way I screamed with joy over this doll!!! I would definitely love to see you repaint the movie dolls. You give them such beautiful depth and dimension!!
Love her, the green looks so good! I really like the hair, not undoing the wool all the way for smaller braids was a great idea. I hope you'll do another with similar hair. Your Mum's outfit is amazing as always, so much detail in a purely black outfit. ❤
Yes! I prefer your Monster High signature doll transformations. While I do appreciate your updates on existing dolls, is not the same 🤷🏻♀️ Your mom does the cutest doll outfits 😍 ❤ Kudos! If you are going to do more dolls from the wizard of Oz universe, may I suggest the porcelain doll China Girl from the prequel movie (Oz the great and powerful)
Mom comes through again! That outfit is amazing! She turned out so awesome! I read the Oz books as a kid and then I read the Wicked books when they came out in the mid 2000s. I. So excited for this movie especially since I've wanted to see the Broadway musical for years! This was a win. Now I need to find your Glinda doll and watch that one!
She turned out so beautiful, just like all of your dolls do! Your mom did such a nice job on her outfit. To answer your question, YES, I would love to see you repaint the official Elphaba doll! I never like the paint job that the doll company does. They don't always look as nice as a repaint.
I would love you to do a set of dolls from the Buffy the Vampire Slayer series or a set of iconic Madonna looks ranging from early 80s till like 2010. Ty 😊
I love when you do characters from scratch. Though that being said I’d love to see the official repaint of Elphaba since I love Cynthia Erivo and her look. I’d love to see if you could make it look more like her. ❤ Beautiful work and of course your mom did an excellent job as always.
She turned out gorgeous❤❤❤. I think it would be pretty cool to see you re paint the official dolls. The monster high turned out perfect, and your mom's clothes are truly stunning
I absolutely love your doll repaints. You have incredible talent and skills. Would you ever do a repaint or remodel on a 17 inch Barbie Dreamtopia articulated doll? I would love to see that!❤
Love her so much! And I’d love to see repaints of the other dolls! Thank you, I’m working on my own witch doll using a Barbie doll and I hit a bump, set her aside and this video has helped me and inspired me to continue. Thank you so much for sharing your talents and beautiful creations. Love you so much!v
This is such a great repaint, and your mum is awesome! I love the amazing detail and lively affect you achieve with official dolls so I would love to see to see that too
@@princessnjjshe had made a comment about a fan edit of the official poster being the most offensive thing she had seen when all they did was edit it to look more like the original Broadway poster 🥴
I’m grateful to these videos. I got a very shoddy grinch head for a project, watching gave me the confidence to take the face off and repaint. Not up to this standard but way better than the awful factory paint
You are such an incredible and inspiring artist!!! I would love a video that was a little more, technical for lack of a better word. I would love to know what you consider a body blushing layer, and when you coat between layers. How long you let it dry between layers, ect. To gain a more indepth understanding of the process. I know you've said in other vudeos it's sometimes 20 layers with Mr Super Clear sealings in between to establish the incredible tones for the skin. Also, do you heat to the head to reattach it does it just pop back on? I have so many questions 😂😅😂😅
Haven't watched the video yet, but to answer your question, girl, you could give a makeover to a literal stick and we would be excited to see it. Do what makes you happy!!

Indeed!👍👍👍
Absolutely
The hair would be on point.
@laureng6874 haha I see what you did there lol
Me: It’d be nice if she doesn’t flatiron the yarn this time so it has a cute natural texture to it, but it’d probably be harder for her so-
Poppen: I was going to straighten the braids, but I really like these natural looking curls!

Why do I love watching her pull out the hair gunk so much?
i do too! there's something satisfying about it.
So satisfying
My daughters favourite part😂
Same!
@Shayshaylex I used to be terrified of dolls. Thanks to Merina, I can stand to watch her and several others do makeovers. The only part that gets to me is the removal of the hair and glue. Lol
Yes yes yes! Buy the officials and repaint them! I love seeing those ❤❤❤
I just saw them tonight, and I think they’re actually really good looking molds.
Just don't hide the eyes...
I love her hair! Would love to see more dolls with this style 😍

Mattel have recently released Ken dolls with a Ryan Gosling face sculpt and I thought you could turn him into another Ryan Gosling character from one of his other films!
I like when you do the whole creation rather than a repaint. Though I'd watch both regardless.
The talent that both you and your mother have is incredible!!!
Perfect as usual! ❤
How about making Jeniffer Conelly's character in the iconic Labyrinth (1986)?
I think both you and your mom would do an extraordinary job 🥰
Jennifer would be gorgeous but she would have to come with Jareth 😁
@ I’m referring to David Bowie as the Goblin King, definitely in the Labyrinth 😁
With the official dolls maybe its more interesting to turn them into themselves instead of the characters! Amazing work as always!
This is a great idea!!! I also like the idea of repainting the originals.
loveeee this idea
ohh! this is a way better idea, remaking them as is didn't spark interest for me but this would be cool at least for elphaba. but with Glenda to Ariana, that's not much of a transformation.
I love that you did the monster high doll instead of the official doll because it shows how talented you are

Awesome idea!
I really love that spin
that would be so cool!
Ooh I love that!!
Oooo what an awesome idea!
I arrived soon this time! Kisses from Brazil! 🇧🇷😘 Love your work, Poppen! Please, make a Princess Anastasia doll, It wold be amazing!!!
Great idea
Oh yes! Princess Anastasia would be the best! I loved the Anastasia movie! Oooh Thumbelina! Produced by the same folks! Becomes a literal fairy princess! Grows wings & everything! I’d like to see that doll too!
@@ashleydellacecca8526two great ideas!
I love her dress, hat, broom - everything! She is amazing. Thank you for another great video.
You and your lovely mom make the perfect team!! I absolutely adore this doll!❤

Amazing work as usual !👏👏👏

She turned absolutely beautiful.🤩🤩🤩
Loved watch her appear beautiful ❤ her outfits amazing as allways
I definitely look forward to your repaint of both characters dolls❤
A little drybrushing on the hat would let the texture stand out a bit more? Stunning as usual 😊❤
Loved the boots and they looked like brown leather before you painted them
Princess Anastasia Doll Please.
I'm absolutely in love with this doll!
a repaint of their dolls would be magical!

What about Fiyero doll? You haven ´t painted male doll for a while 🙏
And please make him black! Fiyero is not supposed to be white. The movie whitewashed him.
Love your work, as always! She is amazing! Love to see the official dolls repainted by you, as well!
You both make a great team. Amazing outfit for an amazing art doll. Wow! Well done ladies, you are the best
Best part of friday!
You should keep with the witch theme and do Agatha harkness from marvels Agatha all along! Or lady death with the half skull face 😮
Okay those boots are incredible. Definitely the best shoes you've ever made. Your shoe making skills are getting to amazing levels!
❤ love watching a true artist at work
Her hair is perfect!❤❤
Shes so beautiful. I love her hair and the details on her hat. I'm excited to see the movie.
Yes please paint the official dolls!!! I love this one, now im so curious what you will do with the official dolls!
Beautiful witch momma did lovely gown and your art work is amazing ❤
As soon as I saw the official dolls I wanted to see you redraw them!
I'm happy that you created the doll from scratch. It really showcases your talent.😊💚🖤💚🧙

I love everything from the start to the finish. Another masterpiece. Have a nice weekend to you too😍

Great job Mama Poppen ❤🌹
Everything came out perfect.
I was hoping you would repaint the Mattel versions because of their face sculpts. That would be so nice!
I would love you to do a set of dolls from the Buffy the Vampire Slayer series or a set of iconic Madonna looks ranging from early 80s till like 2010. Ty 😊
It'd love to see one that looks book-accurate next! The Monster High bodies are actually perfect for Elphaba, but she's supposed to be sharp-featured.
I love the doll! She’s so cute and the outfit is so well made by your mom! I would love to see the official dolls remade by you also
She looks great, good job as usual and your moms outfits are always amazing
Loved watching this video! Each process was so detailed!
I don't need another hobby. I don't have the patience for doll repaints. But you make it look so beautiful that I want to try it 😆
I’d like to see a switch of character!
The Ariana grande doll as elphaba and Cynthia as glinda
She's absolutely stunning!
You and your Mama are artistes extraordinaire! Fridays are my favorite days!!!

Yes I would love to see makeovers of the official dolls too!!!!
Beautiful! I just saw the Broadway show for my birthday on Halloween. It’s amazing! I’m looking forward to the movie.
Awesome as always! You & your mom are super talented
I would love to see you redo the Mattel version of these dolls, you do a much better job than they do. Always love seeing your videos.
This is absolutely stunning work! Just be careful Cynthia Erivo doesn’t see it. 😭
Wondering why?
