I laughed when these came out and everyone talked about how gutless a v6 van or truck would be, completely overlooking the whole twin turbo thing 😂 I'm driving one of these now, once those turbos spool up its gone

And on top of that, the Eco Boost is understated from Ford, as they're putting like 300 whp, which is like 330-340 at the crank and only with a tune it can pass the 400hp mark, 0-60 in low 6's. Throw in some bolt-ons, shit that thing's gonna be movin' like nobody's business, lol.
It is. If it has the 3.5L EcoBoost engine, it makes about 310 HP at about 1750 RPM. It sounds like this is the 3.5L engine, because of the way it sounds.

For instance my truck is only slightly less than a 1000 lbs under the van, but the f150 does come with 4x4 for better grip on launches. (AWD isn't the same on Transit).

Was in one of these on my college cross country team and while I was visualizing myself racing really good on my 8000 meters, I could feel the rear axle of these machines. The team leased a 15 passenger van in it was me and I believe 8 other teammates, the coach, and the driver. Sure is a nice van. But I could feel the rear axle.
ecoboost transits are goated, drove one for my old job a few months back and when it was empty it could fly. not to mention they handle very good for a big delivery van
Man got the posi-trac option, NICE!!!! I used to manage Amazon drivers, really wish they'd equip all their vans with that option. About once a week I was calling a tow truck or driving over in my pickup to pull them out of somebody's yard. You put one tire off a driveway and you're done, especially in those Sprinter vans. Dang things would get stuck on flat patch of wet grass. Its a $400 option that would pay for itself if I didn't have to call a tow truck.

TheFreakonhell haha. Yeah not sure you’ll be able to replicate it with the diesel. Traction control off. Trans in drive. Hold brake and mash the throttle. Keep pushing throttle pedal and modulate the brake pedal. Like I like to say, “a little with the left, a lot with the right!”

I drive one of these for FedEx and you can hear those turbos clear as day and once they spool up that van is taking off. Will beat most vehicles off a dig guarantee. Same thing that’s in the Ford F-150 mustang and Taurus and with it being paired with the 10 speed automatic it’s so fun, taking turns through the mountains at like 60 lol
I drove a PENSKE moving van that had one of these in it, I didn't realize until I was like hours out on my drive, and was used to it enough to kick it down. Once I dropped my stuff off, i ripped the shit out of it. Sounded really good!
lmao when i worked at fedex in 2016, my manager had bought a new truck (ford transit van + a box truck rear. had a side door and rear door to make it easier to get packages out. Only truck with AC too lmaoo. But yeah, once that turbo spooled up, that thing was goneeee lmao.
Had a company Transit Van with an Ecoboost. The thing sucked in the winter. Even with studded tires. Would Have to chain up to get out of the warehouse. Went like heck on the interstate though.
So cool you get these engines in vans in the US. In the UK it doesn't exist. Have never seen a van in this country that doesn't have a 4pot diesel and alot of them now are all front wheel drive even the extra long wheel bases models which makes turning circle horrific

These transits are quick af for absolutely no reason, company just upgraded me out of my 2017 Chevy express van into a new transit. Rides 100% better and super quick. Coming from a Chevy guy.
