Great video those trails are nice. The DRZ125 is a great bike, I have one as well. You’re right, the low end torque is excellent, perfect for single track and hills. Also the suspension and brakes on this bike are really good.
I have a drz 110 from 2003-4. How much better is the 125? I know the acceleration is a bit better and it is a more adult-sized bike, but is there anything inherently different about it?
@@tacticalidiot175 if you are looking for a more adult sized trail bike i would recommend a Yamaha TTR 230, the drz does have smooth power throughout the rev range, it might not have as much umph that the TTR would for an adult, hope I helped 😀
@@caydenmcnemar9651 I would like to have a TTR230. I had a chance to ride one last year and it felt great, and obviously had a lot more power than the 125. The only reason I still ride the 125 is because of it's incredibly light weight, and I like to ride very tight single track in the mountains. So if I get stuck in big rocks or a crevasse or something, it's super easy to pick it up and turn it around or pull it out of a tight spot. And that is honestly the only reason I ride a 125 instead of a bigger bike.
just got a 2023 drz125 love it especially when I try to wheelie if I loop it my back fender won’t snap because it flexes I’m just looking for a little more power
Great video, awesome trails. But brother ……. “I’m worried a stick is going to rip out my break lines” 😂🤦🏽♂️ These bikes will take a good beating and you are just babying it. Don’t worry at all
There’s this exact 2007 bike that is in clean condition. No rust and the plastic is all good. It runs good and everything is well maintained. The guy is asking $1800. Do you think it’s worth it?
I'm 5’9 and currently 180. Trying to get into riding dirt bikes. Would this be a good starter, and would I be too large for this bike to the point where it’ll take away from the experience? Thanks.
This will be great for you to get started , I’m 5’9 and 180 too lol Perfect for trails, hills, enduro type , I got it for enduro training and I love it even though I’m experienced this is great
im 5’9 to and my knees are bent on the 125L but still a really comfortable ride. my dads 6’3 290 and was able to ride it, while the bike isnt to fast it still has good power and seems pretty light to me
From what I see they don’t have I start. I personally like them that way for their simplicity, affordability and light weight when compared to other 125s.

@@tacticalidiot175 Since the 125 is a bigger bike, it has much better suspension and brakes, especially the front disk brake on the L model.

For an 11 to 13 year old
I’ve been riding mine for about a year now and i ride in my yard everyday and it has over 200 hours on it
'Probably start with one with no clutch then move up to the clutch bikes just so you know the gears

That was closer to when I first had it😂 now it’s on the rev limiter, clutch dumps and no lift shifts and it takes it like a champ

I forgot to mention, even just getting used to the riding boots…. You were flying threw gears 😂👌🏼

It’s perfect
You’ll be fine I had one of these as my first bike at 7 years old I couldn’t even hold it up

Think I read somewhere they was like 7 or 8 the drz is a very mild tame 125
Is this bike OK for a 11 year old because my son really wants a suzuki drz 125cc
Perfect for that age
