My college i.e. Sri Venkateswara College (Venky) of Delhi University organised it's fest. It was my first time attending my college's fest. The main event of the day was DJ Night by DJ Akanksha Popli. I had a lot of expectations from the fest but it didn't turn out the way it should be. But I had a lot of fun during DJ Night, dancing with my friends has always been so much fun. Check out this vlog to see what all we did at the fest. I hope you'll enjoy it.

Didi how's the English department there at Venky? Is it worth studying there if i want to pursue BA English Hons?
Venky has a great faculty. Being a commerce student, I myself have never interacted with English Department. But considering the other departments faculty, English dept. would be great too.

Departmental orientation is on 16th and main college orientation is on 18th August.

@@nshikapandey No no, college will start from 16th. You’ve to attend your department orientation also in which they’ll tell you about your course, faculty and all.

Fests go on till 7:00-8:00 PM.

No no, you’ll graduate with a degree of Bcom Hons. That 4th year is for research, all things related to that is not very clear to me yet.
But you’ll get a degree of BCom Hons. even with 3 years.

I don’t have any idea about CUET cutoff. We didn’t have it in our time. But you can check previous year cutoffs list on DU’s website.

Venky is a good college and it’s definitely worth it but I don’t have any idea about your course. You can clear this query of yours in the orientation on 16th.

Making friends is not at all easy. You’ve to interact with a lot of people and see if your vibe matches with them and by interacting with people you can get to know what qualities you’re looking for in a friend.
So, when you come to college, talk to as many people as you can. Don’t feel shy because everyone will be trying to make friends at that time.

So, this was the first time I got to experience my college fest. I’ve heard that Venky’s fest is one of the best fests of DU but this time, it wasn’t great as said by our seniors who’ve experienced previous years fests.
And they also didn’t name it fest, they named it Cultural fest because there were lot of things that didn’t happen. Star night, where they call a big singer, did not happen.
So, for me it was a very average fest.
