Back when I was in the States many years ago young Americans generally not interested to venture outside of USA except Europe maybe. Its great to see you guys appreciating foreign food and cultures. Back then many Americans thought of culture as silly traditions. Some used to say for example "if that food is good why have it only once a year? I don't understand..." Only when I replied "you said you like thanksgiving turkey very much but I don't see you eat turkey everyday".
No man, curry puff is everyday thing. Get your curry puff from the makcik stalls you can see along the road. To find one that suits your taste is a journey tho.

Curry Mee is one of my comfort food. I try not to go when I am wearing a white shirt during lunch time.
