What a Epic 4wd track here in Tasmania, just out of Strahan. The Ranger FX4 just ate the track up. Montezuma Falls can be accessed via this track or a 10km return walk. We opted for the track because Chalky didn't want to walk. There were some spots where it was bit rough but over all so much fun.
The good part is we could take the dogs & Miss Woody along the track as well as to the falls. Once you reach the carpark its only a 200m walk to the falls, however if you don't like heights or swing bridges then I suggest don't go this way because the only way to the falls from the 4wd track is via the suspended swing bridge.
The falls are one of the largest in Tasmania, 104m height, so when it is flowing it is beautiful.
