Great video. Thanks for posting it. Lots of great tips packed into that. And yes, that spot truly is special, and is one of the last of its kind along the Colorado for basically free. We were lucky to have that in our lifetime. The drone work was also cool.

@@Joe-fj9kw5bg1v have you ever been a camp host before? I have. I’ve seen a lot of entitled people be so mean for no reason. These people are paid to make sure you’re not damaging the land and property so it can keep being open for use to the public. If you spend any time in a campground anywhere you should take a few minutes to talk to the host about these things. You’ll see that a lot of people treat them like crap for literally just doing what they’re paid to do. Maybe we should cut em some slack! But no… the camp hosts were amazing and nice people! Got invited back to go fishing with them! Have a good day and thanks for watching!

I understand how campers can be I was just wondering how the host were because of all the bad ratings they got maybe the people that gave the bad ratings to get back at them I am sure very nice hosts a bad time because they were mad at them for making sure campers follow the rules nice to hear they were nice hosts.

@ I’m pretty sure that campground is open year round too. Which is different to work for I’m sure. Camp hosting is definitely a hard gig. You have to live there and be on duty 24/7 pretty much. No personal time that a person can’t come up with emergency or questions. I couldn’t do it year round. But it’s ok for a summer gig.

I have looked into hosting and because of all the time involved I decided not to do it if I wanted a full time job I would still be working I am retired and want to stay that way.

@ i usually take the full time gigs. 40 hours a week. You end up working way more than 40. But I get to balance that with being able to explore the area on days off that I would never have had the chance to see if it wasn’t for seasonal work. Maybe one day I can do this TH-cam thing full time and travel. Till then I have to have a full time job most of the time.
