      Glad to hear it! And don't be too discouraged if the final result isn't quite as good as what you can buy. I'm pretty sure you are capable of making sails as good as you can buy, just not necessarily on your first go. I still mess up plenty, as I think I proved in the video, especially when I try something a little different - such as different color panels for accent.

    What material are you using for the reinforcements at the eyelet points and the tie out points?

    VERY INFORMATIVE VIDEO, LEARNING A LOT BUT WHAT IS TRY SPY? , I GUESS ITS SHORT FOR SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE PLASTIC SHEETING.

      Sorry not to get back to you when you posted. I didn't see it. Tri-Spi is one of three common materials for making rc sailboat sails. Believe it is two thin sheets of Mylar with a nylon mesh inside. Whatever, it's now difficult to get unless you want to buy something like 300 sq yds. But it was the most popular material about ten years ago, and you'll still see some new sails made from it.

      Unless you've made videos, you might not realize how much trouble it can be to get everything just so. I figure this was close enough for the purpose, if far from perfect. No one paid me a cent for my time and effort.
