Although I admit I'm surprise she's pursuing to be an idol over being a professional ballerina when she never sang nor dance to idol or pop music before but I support her. I know she's gonna learn fast because she had good discipline from all those years of learning ballet. She just needs to toughen up a bit as idol industry is cruel and Cnetz & haters are even more cruel. They'll tear you apart if they see you as fragile. Goodluck baby girl!! I love Zhang Yifan because she’s studied dance for 10 years but decided to go and try with a completely new dance style. Not only this, but you can see growth in her within an episode or two, going from never singing infront if anyone to singing infront of mentors and you can SEE the improvement between this performance and her individual theme song performance (a desperate video). She’s shy and timid but is growing around it and becoming more lively already. just because she is number 5 gives people no rights to just start hating her without reason, please just go vote for your favorites instead of spreading hate, we don’t want any of the girls hearing or reading anything toxic when they don’t deserve it :(

Ummm that's because for years she's only ever studying ballet. She never did other dance aside ballet before. It was only when she was accepted in PDCamp that she started mixing her ballet to pop songs and modern dancing. PDCamp 101 girls was finalized around January or February and this audition takes place April so going by that she'd only been learning to dance to pop music 2 months at most.
