Winter weather and heating can certainly dry everyone’s skin out. However, if you are feeling extra dry and like “sandpaper”, it could be because you aren’t actually using a moisturizer... or at least in this video. The Ordinary HA is to be used before your moisturizer and the Futuredew is to be used after your serum, moisturizer and sunscreen. Adding an actual moisturizer could dramatically help to eliminate your dry, dehydrated, “sandpaper” skin!

Beautiful look! I’m ordering that NARS tinted glow booster. I’m debating between the lightest shade or the next shade up so it adds more color maybe? Did it really give you any coverage or blurring effect at all? Also be careful with using lipstick rolled up so high it could accidentally break off, just keep that in mind ☺️

I loved this video so much! And I would love more of your time make up videos and I think that you should split them up into one minute, five minutes, 10 minutes. Hi Alix! I think one video where you do the 1 minute look and then build it up to the 5 minute and then finally to the all out look (like day to night but running out the door to I actually have all the time I want) would be a good format.

Nice to see an old school chatty beauty video, my favourite type of video that got me into you tube in the first place. I’ve got into Elemis skincare recently, I’ve got those pads and follow with some of their rose oil which is gorgeous then the illuminating flash balm. I like the look of the Nars glow booster xx

I’m enthusiastic to see your different makeup routines for 1, 5 and 10 minutes. Always interesting to see the products, application and to get some ideas for myself. I also find it useful to see what products you use for dehydrated & dry skin. It’s a constant battle for me to avoid tight, dry skin in the winter.
