I believe Debussy composed this when he was 28.Extraordinary maturity from one so young.Praise should also go to the wonderful tone of the piano and the quality of the sound recording but really,it is the superb, unhurried playing which makes this so sublime.A perfect performance.
listened to reverie for like 9 months straight (often exclusively, stressful workload at work) so they're tuned to being rather critical, my ears and this execution is wonderful. thank you
I lived next door to Alice but that was way back before 1977. That's forty five years I've been getting used to not living next door to Alice and its gone so quick. I think I may right a song about it!.

She will perfectly understand Debussy's aesthetic, intent and spirit,
so her performance is moving, stellar and flawless
The comfort of her performance is irreplaceable
Debussy is a good match for her
The softness of touch shows well in this performance and recording. Piumata.
Very nice indeed 😊
Beautiful, delicate playing.
Nice dynamics in your phrasing.
You convey the dreamy feeling the piece should have quite well...
Nice work, Ms. Ott.

One of Debussy's great composition. Played so beautifully.
One of my favorite Debussy creations, surprised he thought so little of Reverie
Perfect performance and what an instrument!
Ive heard many version but this is the most sublime. Perfect in every which way
for voice, listen to jerry vales rendition, absolutely beautiful. his voice is like satin, with so much feeling, and emotion, well worth listening to.
Perfect tempo, i really like it

When I'm on my death bed and this comes on, I know its time to let go because I'm at peace and nothing could be more tranquil.
Simplesmente demais.

Great use of dynamics, better than most versions I've heard and am I allowed to say she's hot or would that be inappropriate?
it would be.
@@Micyke97 I shouldn't have asked for permission because she is stunning.
I want to play this for Kristina.
it's beautiful, but nothing and none will ever come close to thiollier's, in my humble opinion :)
Odd that Debussy did not like this piece
woah really why?
@taito_0o it seems like Debussy wrote Clair De Lune just for money
@@taito_0ohe didn't want to release it
