Awesome conversion! I'm going to be converting an old pump organ into a desk or bar soon, so this was super helpful!

    Well done
I use a heat gun or blow dryer for edging and a leather glove to press it on

curling iron is round and heats up. I bet that could work to melt glue. There are many barrel sizes too.😊

Wez this project turned out really good and it's great to see that instead of ripping it apart that you upcycled the organ keeping it's original design and shape!!! If there was anything I would have done different i would have made the hide away panels on each side into mini storage compartments with spring loaded magnetic hinges to open them! As always buddy 💯% 👍 🇬🇧.

Hi Wes, another great project, really enjoyed watching you salvage an old organ and giving it a new life. Not to sure about the LED lights, thanks for sharing.

You could try using a curling iron (for hair) for ironing in the curved cuts.

Great design and video. I have done plywood edging on inside curves with a stream iron and they have made me crazy. The last time I did it I figured there had too be an easier way.
I took a piece of scrap 2" (or so) metal conduit about 8" in length and clamped a vise grip pliers one end. I then heated the conduit with a propane torch and guesstimated when I had the right temp. I used one hand to run the conduit over the edging for the initial anchoring. Then I put a second vise grip on the other end of the conduit, heated it up again and then started ironing the edging until I didn't hear anymore bubble popping. It worked great. No more cussing. No more burned fingers. No more wasted edging. I figure I could do any inside curves this way just by adjusting the width of the conduit. I guess I could have used a non-contact thermometer to determine the temperature but this way worked just fine.
PS if it's a big piece of edging wraps some rags around the pliers' handles. By the time I finished they were starting to get uncomfortably warm.

Maybe a heat gun for the curves? I'm curious about leg room, as it seems a bit shallow. I wondered about somehow moving the bottom section back to give more leg room? But if the client is happy, that's all. It sure did turn out gorgeous. Very ingenious drawer, as well as how you pieced bits together for the back. Love that you put in that bit with the circles -- whatever that is called. (The stops?)
