    l have a 2023 faded silver fatboy been riding HARLEYS FOR 45 YEARS AND THIS ONE TO ME IS THE BEST YET,I PUT CHROME LOWERS ON FRONT END SENT OUT THE REAR FORK AND
    HAD IT CHROMED ALSO YOU ARE RIGHT ABOUT THE CHROME LOOKS RIGHT ON THIS BIKE.

    • @OkieTwister66
      @OkieTwister66  ปีที่แล้ว

      That faded silver looks great. I saw one at the dealership the other day. And I don't think I'm done with chrome yet. I have a few pennies saved. I had not thought about the rear but I have wondered how a chrome frame would look. That's probably more work than I want to do on a new bike. Doh! Now you have my mind racing about the swingarm. I bet it looks very cool with the silver paint. Thanks for the comment and for watching. Two down 🤙

    I am a fan of chrome. Blacked out engines is a fad to me. Chrome highlights, black conceals. The big radius is my favorite pipes. They sound good and look great. Sure you lose a bit of potential power vs a 2-1 but I don’t care it’s not that much. I have used TAB, Rheinharts other V&H as well. Just a sweet pipe.

    • @OkieTwister66
      @OkieTwister66  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks, man. I agree about the V&H pipes, especially the big radius. I was going to put them on my Heritage before I decided to get the Fat Boy. They are not the loudest, but they have an awesome tone. Thanks again for the comment and for watching 🤙

    Nice looking Fat Boy!! A Stage II will wake up that 114 and make a huge difference in performance, especially riding hill country landscapes. One day I’ll make an investment in a Fat Boy. Right now I’m finishing up off my current HD Trike. I have a Stage II and it can move with plenty of torque and horsepower. It will cost around $2500 to invest in a Stage II but it’s well worth the money. I highly recommend investing in a Stage II.

      @@OkieTwister66I think the new Full exhaust systems are neutered now due to fed regulations. Knock out those baffles to get the traditional sound of the big radius. Yours def sounds like the new regulated exhaust.

      I messed up and test road a Road King Special what a plush ride. So I tried to duplicate that smooth ride with the Legends mono, not as smooth as the RKS but much better than the stock Fat Boy mono.

    Beautiful bike, really beautiful. My dream bike. Honest question _ I don't understand why you need an app on your phone for the exhaust system. Could you please explain a little?

    • @OkieTwister66
      @OkieTwister66  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the compliment! Historically, changing the full exhaust changes the air fuel mixture and it needs to be modified/tuned. This had to be done at the dealership. This new device allows to tune the bike by using an app rather than taking it to the dealership if so desired. I hope that clears things up a little. Thanks again for the comment and for watching 🤙

    I am a 145 Ib skinny tall dude do you think I can be able to ride this

    • @OkieTwister66
      @OkieTwister66  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Absolutely yes. My biggest challenge is that I have short legs. I feel most comfortable when I can sit on the bike with both feet flat on the ground. I can do this on the Fat Boy. Since you are tall you will not have that issue. Ski NY doesn't matter 🙂
      If you have riding experience you will adapt to the bike. All bikes feel a little different but the fundamentals are the same. If you don't have prior riding experience, get some training at a local motorcycle school or dealership before jumping on a Fat Boy.
      Thanks for the comment and for watching 🤙

      @@OkieTwister66thx for the info also I’m trying to get my first bike so I’m not experienced so do you think it’s a good idea to buy this bike for my first bike?

    • @OkieTwister66
      @OkieTwister66  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @RaMt2oo I waited until I took and finished the Harley Riding course before I bought my first bike. I chose an Indian Scout. Uou can see it in my earlier videos. It was a great fit for me, a little smaller than the softails. It also weighed 150 pounds less and was several thousand dollars less.
      My advice would be to find a good certification class and complete it. Only then will you have any idea of what type of bike you may want to try first. Another great starter bike is the Honda Rebel. Check them out. Thanks again and good luck 🤙
