The survival stories being told in this film even though horrific what they live through I believe is one of the best educational tools of our time. Steven Spielberg should be given an award of humanity

This is a FIRST: her father is the only WWI vet I've heard of that left instead of thinking his past service for Germany would save his family. There are accounts of men being shot while clutching an Iron Cross when they tried to ask for a break. Her father was very smart indeed.
    SALUTE Irene and her father!

What a lovely elegant lady. While fortunately she didn’t have to go through the horrors
Of the concentration camps, she suffered in different ways. I admire her tenacity and the way she never gave up.
    God bless you.

It must have been terribly hard on a teenager not to have companions, notwithstanding what she went through in Germany. I think of my own gfs, we've all known each other since we were 14 and we are all in our 60's now and still see each other all the time. Great story of survival.

An intervier should listen to the person he interviews. This man doest not. What's more, he should help to keep track of the dates. This man does not.

And his hunger pains were so loud and intrusive. He also never asked what happened with her brother going on a kinder transport or what happened with her parents finally. And never asked her relatives on camera a single thing!
