    Guys if you like dirty water dogs, try this recipe. Put either cajun seasoning, or preferably crab boil seasoning in the water. Either works just use a generous amount, go even heavier with it if you only can find cajun seasoning. Cook the hot dogs in it and soak in that dirty seasoned water for a good 30 minutes at least. Then serve them on hawaiian sweet hot dog buns. This is key, no substitutes. The spicy sweet combo is so amazing I don't eat hot dogs any other way after trying this recipe. You don't even need mustard or anything the cajun spices and sweet bun gives it the perfect flavor.

    Why don't you use actual new york hotdogs which is Sabrett 😊🌭😋

      We definitely would if they were more available on the West Coast. Sabretts are some of our favorite hot dogs.

      I'm in the Boston area and sadly Sabrett is impossible to find...unless you are willing to pay outrageous $ on Amazon ❤🌭

      @@The-Hot-Dog-Show Restaurant Depot carries Sabretts here in Colorado, unfortunately you need a business license to get into their stores. RD has California locations as well, something you should look into, anybody with a business license irregardless of what business you are in can gain access. Great vid, looking forward to the next one, cheers.

      I’ve got a RD membership. But ours out here in San Diego only carry Hoffy in the Natural casings. We’ll get some shipped out one of these days. Maybe Sabrett will send us some. 🤞

      I moved to Upstate NY from Long Island and the only Sabrett's available are the skinless ones in the grocery store and they are never as good as the natural casings ones. After 2 years of not having a real Sabrett, I ordered 100 of them online from NJ. Broke it all down to packs of 8, vacuum sealed the bags and threw them into the deep freezer.

    So what are you looking for using the curing salt ? I ask because I know they are a smoked product and probably have it already. Was wondering if I could just use MSG ? Because it's great in food. Your thoughts?

    • @The-Hot-Dog-Show
      @The-Hot-Dog-Show  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The curing salt kind of simulates the dogs simmering longer it doesn’t really add and saltiness. MSG I think would be great!

    Sold! I have my kids spoiled on grilled dogs that they roll their eyes and won't even try a boiled hotdog...which is my goto. Gonna give the dirty dog a shot see if I can convert them. Great video, thanks!

    Dirty water…. Why is the pool empty?

      We had to drain it to make the hot dogs. 😂. J/K we were having our pool redone at the time. Which reminds me we need to shoot some more shows out by the pool.
