    Do you find the dipping technique avoids getting silver spots between the paint and the glass as there is no glue?

      Hi there! It won't avoid silver spots completely - silver spots can be due to a number of reasons. Even if you don't use glue in dipping, if the glue you use to attach the cabochon to the tray softens the paint, there's potential for it to develop silver spots. Also, silver spots can be caused by air bubbles trapped by the dipping process or the paint being too thin. In my experience, however, I've found that the dipping process drastically reduces the likeliness of silver spots :)

    These were purposely poured paints just for dipping these cabs amd I correct?

      That’s right, Louise! Then the skin is dried for making more jewellery later 😁
