We just have to pay thousands of dollars for that here in the US! My dad had a double bypass (open heart surgery) and when he got the statement from his insurance company, the hospital billed the insurance company for about half a million dollars. My dad only had to pay like a grand though.
It's because the hospital is clogged with oldies waiting for spots in nursing homes. Many "patients" have been there over 100 days taking up beds. It's more like a hotel right now.

@@SanctusPaulus1962 Put in another 2 party system & let the Juice Media handle the fuckary!
@@SanctusPaulus1962 mass demonstration against it and force reform, how else would you expect to change it???
@@SanctusPaulus1962 It should be easier in Tasmania than almost anywhere else. Hare-Clark allows for voting for anyone else without wasting votes in ways few other systems do. But, in the end, the entrenched powers hold sway over media and advertising; and nothing can change even in the most ideal of circumstances.
@@SanctusPaulus1962 Follow your northern neighbor Indonesia lol, it baffles me how Indonesia is much poorer yet still have better voting system than Australia and the whole English-speaking countries.
"department for bread and stadiums" Giordano is a Roman empire guy and this is now canon
He could've been entirely disconnected from any knowledge of Rome and still have used it, "bread and circuses" is a hyper-common phrase.
We lived in NSW for a couple of years in the late 80's (was there for the bicentennial) and fell in love with the country. Spent six weeks touring around all the states before we left, only one we missed was Tasmania. We always wanted to go back, we cried when we left.... after watching Juice Media's videos for the past couple of years that desire to go back has really faded and that makes me so sad. Hopefully NZ stays OK (we honeymooned there for a couple of weeks.),
I’m sorry to be the one to tell you that’s fucked too, cost of living is worse than here, DOC has a lot to answer for, they’re still using 1080 and poisoning the place
Wait, do I cry or laugh? I feel the urge to do both in equal measure.
Crylaugh while getting heartburn. Worth it though.
Yep. That's honest government ads for you!
Cry, and then vote the Liberals and Labour out, then you'll be laughing
Both at the same time. Victorian here. (is a different state in Australia for non Aussies)
You guys are doing an invaluable service. Keep up the great work.
Yes free advertising for the Greens
They got my vote for Australian of the year. I love juicemedia more than I love the air that I breath, well the bits other than oxygen that is. But I do love them!!!
Great idea, start a campaign for Australian of the year award
"F*ck you, masked owl!"
That got me. XD
Me too!
Eff you world got me snorting
It hurt extra big because I used to live in Grey's Harbor Co. and it felt like the whole Spotted Owl thing all over again.
It's truly heartbreaking!
Like Britain's got talent, you should franchise to every corner of the world. Opening eyesores through laughter is a mission you've been perfecting very well. 👍
Keep hounding the bastards!
Big thanks to the Tasmanian Electoral Commission for bringing so much attention to this video!!
As a Tasmanian some of this I knew some I did not thanks for informing us. As for the health system you are not even scratching the surface. I've had friends that have had serious injuries, broken bones etc and rather than wait in emergency at the hospital they make a doctors appt for a day or two later knowing full well they'd have to wait for 10 or more hours to get into the hospital.
Yeah but AFL need another overpriced stadium.
It's more like a hotel right now.
and let’s not forget the lack of mental health support also
I always smile when one of your new videos appears on my feed !!!!
Not often can someone say the work they do makes a difference! Bless you to all in front and behind the camera who make these Ads! Humorous dialogue aside, you're bring real issues about real people to light - when no one else is even trying - and doing so WHILE THERE IS TIME for something to be done!
Truly love you guys, your brutual honesty is 2nd to none!!!
I love this team/ channel/ journalism. Blessings to you all. Have a great weekend ahead my friends. 💛
JOURNALISM???
I would never have known about this hilarious channel if it wasn't from the Premier of Tasmanian Marketing - thanks Jeremy Rockliff!
Your sarcasm is next level lol, this is the greatest
I thought Tasmania was being forgotten by them. They're going to squeeze Tassies to the last drip.
Libs fucked us loooong ago my dude. Now its labour's turn to twist the same knives a different way and expect us to thank them
Nah. It seems they'll send their own kids to the work camps if it'll make them some money by now.
Just commenting for the algorithm. More people need to see this.
thanks for still doing these
Love your videos! Keep the good work up!
thank you for being fun to watch
I don't know how you guys do it... year after year...taking the most horrible fuck shittery and turning it into easily digestible dark comedy sushi for us to enjoy...
Many, many thanks.
xox
Automatic thumbs up before watching as usual.
Thanks for the website! I went there and it helped confirm which way I am going to vote. 😊
Another one well done! Shoutout from Sydney as intl student!
Love your work! Keep up the fight!
I see the blurred moments. Glad the message is intact.
Love every video you make ♡
Oh good, even more cool and normal places to go to in Australia!
Here's a comment and a like for the algorithm.
Kickass video, keep up the good work
Excellent as always. Music outro works really well.
Brilliant as always
Here for the Streisand Effect.
Same. Got back here after the "guvernement friendly" edit.
Seems this video was not down long (if it was?). I did not even notice.
There's never been a worse time to live in Tas. Thanks for your work on this one, Juice team 💙
This is one of the most eye opening videos I have seen from thejuicemedia...😮
not for us Tasmanians, we have to live this shite every day!
Eyes open, mind closed.
Brilliant as always.
Great video Juice Media! I miss the other woman too. They should make the next episode with them both!
I absolutely love you guys❤❤❤
I wish you could shine your light on more Sh*t “Governments” around this world!
Keep up your great work.👍👍👍👍👍
Fantastic, as always. Have you thought about giving or selling a masterclass about how to approach making such videos? Because your recipe is gold, each of your video is perfect. I know some associations that would need such a masterclass to get the visibility they need and deserve for similar fights.
more brilliant, truthful, satire by the amazingly talented thejuicemedia!
You forgot 'left wing'
Wish we had a 'double' thumbs up option!! Juice Media would get 2 every time. Keep em coming.
Thank you for bringing light to all the corruption that plagues governments around the world. Please keep up the good work. Love this channel!
Man, I asked for this (i'm sure I wasn't the only one). Have not watched it yet, but just wanted to say a huge thank you. Cannot wait to see what you make of the chocolate fountain money give away to Cadbury's.
As an American, I appreciates seeing this hyper localized criticism in Australia.
Yeah, now spread the word in the US, don't let your government make the same mistakes, save the kids from hell holes before it's too late!
The children are depending on you!
You know you’re hitting nerve when they try and take you down. Keep it up!
Here in Germany we also have a "Departement for Bread and Stadiums", but in memory of the ol´ Roman Empyre it´s called "Department for Bread and Games".
Greetings from the other side of the world, where politics also turned upside down like it´s by you there "down under"!
This woman, whoever she is, absolutely the best news host I've EVER seen my whole life.
"This woman" is Ellen Burbidge and I frikkin adore her ❤️😊❤️🥰❤️😍❤️😘❤️😋❤️🤤❤️ for too many reasons to list here.
She's ACE 😎👍
