Babymetal are Japanese, not Korean, and they are Japan's most successful musical export. They started in 2010, when lead singer Sumetal (Suzuka Nakamoto), and backing vocalists and dancers Moa-metal (Moa Kikuchi) and Yui-metal (Yui Mizuno) were 12, 10, and 10 years old respectively. The group was created by their producer Kobametal (Key Kobayashi) for the Amuse talent agency. Babymetal began as a side project of the teen j-pop idol group Sakura Gakuin (Cherry Blossom Academy), but gained such popularity that they were spun off to become an independent act in 2013 when Sumetal graduated from Sakura Gakuin. Since then, they have released three albums: Babymetal (2014), Metal Resistance (2016), Metal Galaxy (2019), and the new album The Other One (2023), which this song is taken from, releases on March 24th. The name does not relate to their young ages when the group started, it actually has two meanings. The first is that Babymetal represents the birth of a new style of metal music that they call 'kawaii metal' (cute metal), which blends the vocals, choreography, and aesthetics of J-pop with heavy metal music. The second meaning is a Japanese play on words of the terms "heavy metal" and "baby metal". In Japanese, 'heavy metal' is written as ヘビーメタル (hebimetaru), while "baby metal" is written as ベビーメタル (bebimetaru). As you can see, they look almost identical, and they sound almost identical when spoken too. Sumetal is the main vocalist for obvious reasons, and Moa-metal does backing vocals and dances. Yui-metal (not in this video) sadly had to retire from Babymetal in 2018 due to illness, and her position in their dance formation has been filled by one of three backup dancers (Riho Sayashi, Kano Fujihira, and Momoko Okazaki) called the 'Avengers' since 2019. At the recent concert where this video was filmed, it was revealed that a new permanent third member will be added to the lineup at the upcoming concerts in Yokohama on the 1st and 2nd of April. When Babymetal performs live, they are supported by a backing band made up of Japan's best session musicians that is known as the 'Kami Band' (god/spirit band). The lineup of the Kami band varies, and they usually perform masked so that its not obvious that it's different people, however the Kami Band tends to be made up of the same performers most of the time. The regular members of the Kami Band are: Takayoshi Ohmura (guitars), BOH (bass), Hideki Aoyama (drum), and either Mikio Fujioka (until his tragic passing in 2018; rip Kogami), Leda Cygnus, or Isao on guitars. Any other instruments you hear are on a backtrack. Its worth noting that the Kami Band DO NOT play on the studio recordings, they only perform at live shows. When reactors are discovering Babymetal for the first time, they usually check out the following songs (in whatever order): Gimme Chocolate (their most famous song), Megitsune, Ijime Dame Zettai, Karate, Road of Resistance (all these can be found on TH-cam, either on the official Babymetal channel or on fan channels). Babymetal has a catalogue of over 60 songs at this point, so there is a lot to explore. Just be aware that Babymetal's management company Amuse likes to make it difficult for reactors and often claims videos. There is a channel called the 'Babymetal Reactor's Resource' www.youtube.com/@BabymetalRR that has pre-watermarked versions of their videos. Otherwise, you can put logos over the video, or mess with the transparency to fool the detection system.
Japan is ALWAYS weird. They say that they want word to get out about their entertainers so they can be world-famous but then they make it EXCEPTIONALLY DIFFICULT for reactors on all the different social media platforms; The very best form of advertisement for them is subverted, BY THEM. They do it to themselves. Then they complain that nobody is watching. Or maybe the execs are liars who actually DO NOT want word to spread so they can keep their entertainment all to themselves but they still complain that going international is 'so hard'... Bunch of money-hungry fools shooting themselves in the feet. I don't even know.
@@jamescurfman3284 Japanese companies have a very boomerish attitude to social media and copyright. Nintendo are notoriously strict with enforcing copyright on their IPs even when it would benefit them to let things slide. I think it’s a business culture difference in Japanese companies that they don’t see the value in free exposure that social media like TH-cam creates.
@@Icipher353 Yup. Their business could grow more if they actually appreciated public feedback over a little bit of money. Instead, shoot themselves in the feet repeatedly. SO STUPID of them.
Welcome & Thanks from Japan, BABYMETAL's homeland 有難う💛。 This video is from on Jan.28 /29 held in Makuhari, near Tokyo. I witnessed both shows at the venue. BM is the best phenomenon in music I have ever experienced in my 67-year-long life. BTW, we say "Japan is the country obsessed by Rock Music". (Totally different from Korea) The history is very long and the obsession started in 1966 when Beatles visited Japan and held 5 concerts at Budokan. Speaking of hard rock / heavy metal music, a number of bands started to come to Japan since as early as 1970s : Led Zeppelin / Grand Funk Railroad (1971), Deep Purple (1972), Queen (1975), Kiss (1977), Cheap Trick / Van Halen / Scorpions (1978), Judas Priest (1978/79) and so on. Now, any type of rock can be enjoyed here, especially by many all-female or women-fronted bands. They are daughters of American / European rock, for sure. (Many are grand-daughters in terms of age.) Uh-oh, we also say "Japan is the country obsessed by Jazz". It had started earlier than rock 😄
@@lotsoflife8236 In 14 BABYMETAL arena shows I have been to I saw many guys apparently older than me. Some of them even joined in walls of death and circle pits like I did. 😄 Since I discovered BABYMETAL in 2019, I intensified my workout level for all of body parts including quadriceps femoris muscle and calves. 🤣
Best band in the world right now. You have absolutely no idea what you’re in for. This band shock, surprise and confuse but always…..and I mean always….delight.
I really envy you. To have the entire BabyMetal back catalogue to choose from is going to open your eyes to one of the most diverse bands ever. You will find that pretty much every BabyMetal song is different from every other BabyMetal song, and that is what makes these talented ladies so special. You will absolutely love some songs, and hate other songs until you revisit them and then you will love them as well (I'm looking at you Gimme Chocolate, you know what you are). Just give these ladies a chance and they will blow your shoes and socks off, whilst punching you in the face. SuMetal is so talented, and has an amazing voice, and I swear she can bring you to tears. Moa-Metal is an absolute angel who also has a wonderful voice but doesn't sing very much, more backing vocals (scream and dance). Welcome to the Fox Hole, it is deep and welcoming. Oh and just remember.... #NotACult :)
I'm Japanese .Thank for your nice reaction . There is no singer who has both beauty and good singing like Su-Metal (the lead singer of Babymetal) 'in Japan' , I think . She is 25years old now . She belongs to the biggest entertainment company in Japan and is a famous singer and talent from when a child .
I didn't realize you hadn't done Babymetal! 😁 #notacult You're in for a HELL of a ride! They have been around since Su-Metal(the lead singer) was 12. Their music is all over the spectrum, but it's all spectacular! A few of my favorites include: Doki Doki Morning (their first single) Gimme Chocolate (this is what they went viral with in 2013) Megitsune (2013, still one of their best) Headbanger Road of Resistance (Herman Li co-wrote this one, do the Live in Japan version) Pa Pa Ya (do the live ft. F. Hero. He's a Thai rapper) Kingslayer (Bring Me the Horizon ft. Babymetal) BxMxC (Baby Metal Cypher) The One Divine Attack Monochrome Last 2 are off their new album that drops next month called 'The Other One' Enjoy the gifts of the Fox God! 🤘🦊🤘
BabyMetal is a Japanese band. A fusion of Jpop & Metal genres. Been together for over 10 years. No two songs are the same. They have different Metal genres from thrash to prog to djent to black metal. As for my favorite BabyMetal songs… 1. Syncopation 2. Kagerou 3. Akatsuki
1st they have nothing to do with Korea. They are Japanese but have made international tours. Their best moment imo is the Road Of Resistance performance as a trio 7 years ago the Official Live, you will understand much just from this performance, and you can go from there.
As others have said, BABYMETAL is Japanese. Most people are confused in the beginning. Its normal. A lot of them get stuck on the name, others get stuck on the cute stuff in their early music, still others cant see the forest for the trees. BABYMETAL is one of the most diverse, heaviest, and unique bands in all of history. All of history. Pioneers, they invented this genre. They have some of the most complex guitar compositions I have ever heard, even Dream Theater has commented on it. There are over 50 songs. Every single one is different. You are in for a ride. You started with the newest song. As you go back in time, over the last 13 years, you will learn a lot. I will give you the five "essential" songs I would recommend to anyone who is just starting out, and the order I think you should listen. I would highly recommend live versions of any given BM song as they tend to deliver better in live performances than their studio releases. The Kami Band live is a monster in its own right. I would also recommend trying to find songs with english subtitles so you can understand the meanings a bit better. There are layers at play in nearly every song. A lot of puns, a lot of cross cultural nuance, and oftentimes clear positive messages. Megitsune - The quintessential BABYMETAL song. There is cultural meaning to this song, and it will give you a strong feel for their early compositions. This is their most performed live song. Headbanger - One of their most popular songs, tells a story about a girls 15th birthday at a concert, and has several variants where the backing dancers sing the second half on their 15th and 20th birthdays. (the 20th is a significant day in Japan, as it is the day of legal adulthood). Road of Resistance - BABYMETALS modern set closer or encore, and their big crowd participation anthem. You must watch this one live. Anything less and you will miss out on the most important part of the song, the crowd chant in the middle. Ijime, Dame, Zettai - Their early closer and one of their strongest message songs. It literally means "Bullying, No, Absolutely" or "No more bullying, forever". Live at Sonisphere 2014 is the vid to watch, as this was their first concert outside of Japan (and a tiny one off in Singapore). This was their introduction to the Western world, in front of 60,000 people at a metal festival. Karate - A song about overcoming obstacles, being your own worst enemy, getting back up, and helping/relying on your friends. No matter how you proceed, know that The One (the name of the fans) will be here with you, new Kitsune. The Foxhole is very deep and full of surprises.
BABYMETAL are the founders of the „Kawaii Metal“ genre, „kawaii“ meaning „cute“. Essentially they have fused all sorts of genres with multiple sub-genres of Metal over the last ten+ years. Apart from that, they are adding choreographed dancing, insane stage setups, great crowd interaction and happy smiles to the usual Metal ingredients. It’s an interesting time right now, as it‘s not yet clear how much of the playfulness and cuteness remains as they are in their mid-twenties now. It seems like they are toning it down a bit, but nevertheless they are certainly still a very unique and fun Metal band. It will be interesting to see how you feel about their older stuff.
So BABYMETAL is a Japan kawaii metal band - kawaii metal is a genre THEY INVENTED (it means cute metal) - a mix of J-POP and METAL. They consist of SU-METAL (Vocal and Dance) and MOAMETAL (Scream and Dance) - they had a 3rd member YUIMETAL (Scream and Dance) but she retired in 2017 due to an undisclosed illness. They are backed by the Kami Band (session artists used for concerts - these are some of the most skilled musicians in Japan) - the Kami Band have a few members that rotate but are usually the same half dozen people most of the time. They started back in 2010 when Su was 12 AND Moa and Yui were 11 (but BABYMETAL is not about their age but rather that the words heavy and baby written in Japanese are almost identical) Their songs all differ from each other and cover the whole of metal genre including power, speed, nu, etc and even range into rock ballards almost and even solos by Su. Their early stuff as you would imagine is more J-POP but everything amazing, if you do not like a song , try another. Oh and bar about 3 MV ALWAYS check out their live performances (the exceptions include Megitsune and Karate). I would suggest checking out something like Karate (the MV) or Road of Resistance - Live in Japan both from around 2015).
Thanks for this reaction, this show opening is just Babymetal flexing their muscles. 🙂 This is Babymetal at age 25 and 23. Babymetal started early, really early as other comments already explained, they've been breaking age records in their early years in surprising ways. Their are now 2 young ladies, their used to be 3, they hinted that they might be 3 again in the near future... and they have a live band who perform with them. And a lot of performances had a dancer (not singer) with them to fill the 3th place. Babymetal at the heart is a live band/group. Part of what they do when they have a big show is create a full immersive experience as much as possible. They don't need a big stage to impress, they appreciate any audience, but big audience is very much appreciated, please react to: BABYMETAL - Ijime,Dame,Zettai - Live at Sonisphere 2014,UK (OFFICIAL)
Here are some fun facts about this Japanese group BabyMetal 1. Their most famous song Gimme Chocolate was named one of the most important metal songs of the last 10 years 2. Dragon Force performed Gimme Chocolate with BabyMetal 3. The Red Hot Chili Pepper performed Gimme Chocolate with them. 4. They are buds with Metallica and Slipknot 5. They had a cameo in Corey Taylor's video 6. They performed Pain Killer and Breaking the Law with Rob Halford of Judas Priest 7. They are the only Asian group to ever hit #1 on Billboards Top Rock chart. 8. BabyMetal and Black Pink are the only albums by girl groups in history to enter the Top 10 of Billboard’s World Albums Year End Chart. 9. In a recent interview Corey Taylor of Slipknot was asked who he listened to at home and he said "BabyMetal" 10. In 2015 Vogue Magazine Japan named them Women of The Year. Two other songs you should watch are Legend of 1997 Head Banger - (1997 is the birth year of the lead singer Su Metal) the audience goes bonkers and Road of Resistance Live in Japan their epic masterpiece. Newer songs I would suggest are BxMxC the official video and Pa Pa Ya! feat. F. Hero The girls are all grown up and beautiful and put on a stunning performance Your next song should be Legend of 1997 Head Banger because it will shatter your concept of audience reaction. When Metallica saw them live they said they were astonished at their awesomeness
Great first reaction and welcome to the BABYMETAL Fox Hole.🦊This will be the opening track on the album being released 24th March - and of course they used it as the epic and theatrical opening number for their concerts (their first in nearly 2 years) last weekend - that was where this was filmed.🤘🦊🤘 There are already some excellent comments explaining who they are and some of their history etc so I won't repeat all that. You have a lot of catching up to do. They formed in 2010 as a sub-unit of the Idol group Sakura Gakuin and separated from that group to become an independent band in 2013. Since then they have released 3 studio albums and the 4th, which this song comes from, will be released in March. They have over 50 songs now and each one is different to the last. They have fun, happy songs, deep meaningful songs and nearly always they are positive and uplifting. They also fuse Metal with pop and many other musical styles and genres. There is no other band quite like them, they are not only original and unique but also hugely talented. They include dance with nearly every song (this one was more about the drama and spectacle of course) and they are one of the very best live performance acts on the planet. You already have a lot of good suggestions for what songs to react to next ... pick any of them (the official videos are all good but BABYMETAL are a live performance act first and foremost - that is where they are always at their best).
What you just found is Japan's #1 International Group...Babymetal!!! Their last album back in 2019, "Metal Galaxy", hit #13 in the USA on the Billboard "Hot 200" Album chart(one of the highest charting Japanese album of all time) and #1 on Billboard's "Top Rock Album" chart!!! Their New Album "The Other One" is slated to drop next month and the song you just listened to is the First song on it. This was their first Live performance in almost 2 years! And it's a Fox Hole not a rabbit hole!! LoL!! But seriously, if Rock and Metal is where your heart is, Japan has been leading the way over the last decade and Babymetal is one of the biggest reason the West has turned its ear to the East!! That's basically why Marty Friedman moved to Japan after he left Megadeth...Japan has never left Rock'n'Roll the way the West has left it. And the innovative sound comming from groups like Babymetal, Band Maid, Lovebites, Nemophila and many Many others is where you will find that Rock is still Alive and Well in the World!! Thanks for the Reaction and as always.... Put your Kitsune UP!! Po!

Welcome to the Foxhole! Most of the truly important information has already been given in previous posts, so I like to give the fun titles and nicknames given by THE ONE (Babymetal’s Fan-base). Suzuka Nakamoto\Su-Metal (Vocals and Dance): Angel of Song, Queen Su, Queen of Kawaii, Metal Queen, and Metal Goddess. Fun Fact: Bullfrogs are her Kryptonite Yui Mizuno\Yuimetal (Scream and Dance) Former member since 2018: Angel of Dance, Princess Yui, Tomato Princess, Kawaii Princess and Devourer of Souls (or at least she stares into your soul). Fun Fact: Yui is tickled by Bullfrogs. ** WARNING ** Do NOT, ever, under any circumstances call her “small”, “short” or “tiny”. Moa Kikuchi\Moametal (Scream and Dance): Angel of Love\Smile, Princess Moa, General Moa, Kawaii Princess, Super Moa-chan, Maiden of Mischief, and Headmistress of Hedabon. Fun Fact: Loves to troll Su-metal on-stage as well as torment Su-metal with Bullfrogs. BLACK BABYMETAL: Yuimetal and Moametal performing as a duet while Su-metal takes a breather. Also known as “MoiMoi”. There are 4 BBM songs (GJ!, Onedari Daiskusen, 4 No Uta\Song 4, and Sis. Anger) which Moametal now performs solo. AVENGERS: 3 Dancers who took turns performing the choreography in Yuimetal’s spot after her departure. They do not sing and do not have microphones. They only dance. They are: Riho Sayashi: Suzuka’s former rival at Actors School Hiroshima, having often competed for the same roles. Former “Absolute Ace” of the Idol group Morning Musume. Now a solo artist. Kano Fujihara: Former Member of Sakura Gakuin, the school-aged Idol group that BABYMETAL was born out of. Like Suzuka and Moa before her, Kano was Student Council President her last year in Sakura Gakuin. She is now a member of the Idol group @onefive, which is comprised of 4 Sakura Gakuin graduates. Kano only performed with BABYMETAL in Japan as she could not travel due to her commitments to Sakura Gakuin and @onefive. Momoko Okazaki: Also a Sakura Gakuin graduate. Was contestant on the Korean reality survival program "Girls Planet 999" and performed in a stage musical production. Momoko was the only Avenger to perform in the “10 BABYMETAL Budokan” shows. She returned to perform in the 2 most recent shows and is highly speculated to become the new permanent 3rd member. Keep in mind, we are notacult. Kitsune Da O! 🤘🦊🤘
Welcome to the kingdom of the Fox God!! I had the same reaction when I saw the first video. I recommend Headbanger, Distortion, Karate. The girls Mo Metal (24) and Moa Metal (22) they started out as little kids (hence Babymetal) they started out as a Trio that included Yuri Metal but she left the band in 2018 due to health reasons. It is rumored that Baby Metal is going to add a new member this tour or possibly Yuri is coming back.
1. Road of Resistance (Live in Japan) 2. Headvanger.(Live Legend 1997 Concert) 3. Rondo of Nightmare (Budukan Black Night) 4. Akatushi Budukan Black Night) 5. Karate (Download Festival UK 2016) 6. Ijime-Dame-Zettai aka No Bullying Ever (Sonishere UK 2014. The Concert that Made BABYMETAL. And Brought a 15 going on 16 Y.o Su-Metal and 2 14 going on 15 yr olds in MoaMetal and YuiMetal to the World). 7. Death (Legend 1997 Concert Show Closer was right after Headbanger) 8. CATCH ME IF YOU CAN (Look for live video with subtitles. Give while new slant on typical thinking of its a song about Hide and Go Seek. Yes it is except they're plqying with 2 Djinn bliod demons. Who un Japanese legend stole children like our bogeyman stories. Also the Dont wear red shoes is very very very prevalent to conspiracy theories today about red shoe club for the rich to hide any tell tale red splatter if you get me). 9. Distortion 10. Megutsune Music Video to see how young they were. And for Su Metal SHORT SWORD KATANA MIC. 12. GJ. (LEGEND XX MOA SOLO 1st time doing a Black BABYMETAL SONG WITHOUT YUI AFTER SHE LEFT. Who is Babymetal you ask? They are the GOAT of Japanese rock/metal and one of the greatest metal bands ever, BTW live is the best way to experience this band. You can also expect a massive number of views everytime you post one of their videos 🦊🤘
I don't know who Baby Monster are, but Babymetal are one of the most reacted to bands on the planet; difficult to believe that a TH-cam reactor in 2023 didn't know of them
Babymetal 101: Their live shows with live singing and instruments are 200% better than their studio and most of their official music videos, and better than 99% of idol groups out there too. They one of the world's top live bands - in fact you can find some music video they straight up used live footages from some shows - like the video you just watched here (only few are actually live audio - like No Rain No Rainbow, Road of Resistance) I highly recommend you check Megitsune - the quintessential Babymetal song, or Road of Resistance live official video, Headbanger live at Legend 1997, or Karate live at Download festival 2016.
They were officially introduced on the 2010 October 10. An experiment that got out of hand. Formed by Su-metal (Suzuka Nakamoto 12 years Vocalist ) also known as Queen-Su or true metal goddess. Moametal (Moa Kikuchi 11years Chorus) Yuimetal (Yui Mizuno 11years Chorus ) does not appear in the last concert of 2017, his retirement is announced in 2018. The musicians are known as Kami-Band (divine band or band of the gods). They create their own Kawaii-metal genre. Kawaii It is translated as tender, beautiful...., It is characterized by using everything that is considered tender pop, folk, rap, march,... everything that you cannot imagine, On a base of any metal. The only thing you can expect...... Is the unexpected. In Japan, minors under 15 years of age cannot go to concerts, which is why his first works are aimed at this audience, despite that, they reached a much larger audience. Their first work titled "Babymetal" is a compilation of early hits with more youthful and adult themes, the album "Metal Resistance" is more youthful adult, still using hooks for minors, The "Babymetal Galaxy" is more adult, using genres from all over the world. His fourth work "the other one" (The one, is the official name of the fans) It's a concept album " WELCOME TO FOXHOLE" #notacult
Enjoy the journey, man. I wish I could experience them for the first time again. Mind blowing live performances. They have one of (if not) the best production teams on the planet today. I’ve bought 3 of their live performance blu-rays since discovering them. My PS5 has almost burnt holes in the discs since then.
This song is just the tip of the iceberg. If you love Metal, and have an open mind, Babymetal will absolutely consume you. There’s a ton of stuff to learn.
This is the kind of reaction I love to see! You are right, Babymetal started in 2010 when they were VERY young (11 & 12) with 3 girls. One of them (Yui-metal) left in 2018 due to health reasons. The other 2 (Su-metal & Moa-metal) are now 23 & 25 and still doing Babymetal. There are rumors that Babymetal will be finally replacing Yui with a new permanent 3rd member in a couple of months so all the fans are excited for that. Their music was originally called "Kawaii-metal" as it was a mixture of J-Pop and Heavy metal (kawaii is Japanese for cute). But since Yui left, their style and music have evolved to be more mature. Even though they're not as cutsie as before they are still as awesome as ever. Since you are still getting your feet wet in the Babymetal world I will only suggest 3 of their songs for your next reactions: Karate, Road of Resistance and Megitsune. Please watch the original music videos for those. Most fans will say Babymetal is always better live but these 3 songs are some of their best music videos and the RoR video is a life performance one anyway. Babymetal fans are a welcoming bunch. We are called "The One" to signify our unity and solidarity. If you are lucky you will find many dissertations from fans explaining to you Babymetal's entire history (maybe even longer than this one! lol) We love welcoming new people into The One #notacult lol I look forward to watching you enjoy your journey down the foxhole! Kitsune up!
Great reaction, and you have not seen anything yet! I can't say anything that has not been already been mentioned (like they a Japanese metal fusion band), I would suspect...but I will day that you will continually impressed with what you about to start witnessing. And I will be looking forward to all those coming reactions! Kitsune up!
Road of Resistance Live in Japan is a standard must react. I would start there, but don't expect it to be like this song. They are known for performing songs in practically every type of metal genre there is and creating a few themselves. Have fun. Currently they are 25 & 23. In the RoR live in Japan video they are 17 & 15.
Sugoi! After 55+ years of appreciating pop, rock, & metal, BABYMETAL is by far my favorite group. I'm from the U.S., and if you would have told me 10 years ago that my current favorite 3 bands were all-female Japanese groups, I would have laughed in your face. Then along came BABYMETAL, BAND-MAID, & NEMOPHILA. Who knew?! Arigatou! 🦊🤘 #notacult #kawaiimetal #metalAF
As has been related already, this band is Japanese and is Kawaii-metal (cute metal) a genre they invented (although as they evolve the balance of cute and metal is leaning toward the metal side more and more as they mature). Together as BABYMETAL since the girls were about 10 - 12 years old, they are an international sensation that have won many awards and even briefly held BILLBOARD's #1 rock album position for their last album (METAL GALAXY). Their arena productions are rivaled only by Rammstein's No-one has ever done it before, but it may be interesting for you to start with their newest songs and work backwards through their catalog, which I'm sure would result in increasing WTF reactions for months (they are about to release their 4th album, which is the source of this song). The fanbase is extremely supportive and known as THE ONE. By the end of this day you will have more views and comments with information than you have had on the majority of your reactions to other bands. I am 58, American, and have played in metal bands since the 80s, with Judas Priests being my favorite band for many years (btw, Rob Halford loves these girls, has performed on stage with them and is known to bring them flowers when they pass through his neck of the woods). I now count BABYMETAL as my favorite band ever, and they have been instrumental in giving me back my love of music which had somewhat diminished after many years of same ol, same ol. Chronologically speaking, reverse order would make the next reaction to them "MONOCHROME" and I would highly recommend the Official lyric video for. Strap in, prepare to have your mind blown over and over, occasionally weep with joy, and to have your world of metal music redefined forever. Welcome to The One, and watch your step as you tumble into the foxhole, it goes deep! Kitsune dao!
Great reaction, thanks and welcome to BABYMETAL kingdom (queendom?? ...whatever!) Of course you have no idea what rabbit hole are you getting into because you have fallen into the Fox Hole. And that's fantastic. You have already a TON of info and suggestions... well you asked for it! 🤣So, I'm just going to give you my usual advice: expect the unexpected and prepare to be surprised. Enjoy your BABYMETAL journey! 🤘🦊
Nice reaction. welcome to the Foxhole. Babymetal gets it's name from the music genre they started. Kawaii Metal. Considered giving birth to a new genre. Like a baby. A combination of Jpop vocals on top with a metal bass layer and whatever they want to put in the middle. They started young, Very young. Su-metal lead singer was around 12 and Yuimetal and Moametal scream and dance were around 10. They had a lot to learn about metal coming from the Jpop world. Learn they did. They started as a subunit in the Jpop group they were a part of called Sakura Gakuin. Great Jpop stuff and more there when you're ready to learn about them. Now on to Babymetal who took the world by storm with their first big international hit Give Me Chocolate. Imo the fact that so many folks love chocolate I am surprised there are not more songs about chocolate. A great fun song that shocked the metal world. How can there be three Japanese girls be rocking out with these jpop vocals like this? Easy they're cool like that. Otherwise known as Babymetal magic. First rule of Babymetal do as Su-metal says, "Don't Think, Feel". Second expect nothing. Their songs are all different so when you start doing that it just throws you off. And somehow, they retain the overall Babymetal sound. More Babymetal magic. Next, we jump around a bit because were covering over 10 years of legendary history. Yuimetal left officially in 2018 due to health issues. No one knows what happened. Su and Moa say they keep in touch with her, and she is doing fine. We guess just not up to being able to perform with Babymetal. And when I say up to performing with them. The video you just watched was only a taste of the things they've done. For Babymetal a big part of who they are is giving 1000% when performing. Yui lived this when she fell off the stage during a concert and came back out and finished the show. since 2018 Babymetal has been officially listed as Su and Moa. their stage band is known as the Kamiband. Which translates to either god or spirit band. You could say they represent the gods of their instruments. Every member of the kamiband and there have been many over the years. Have been incredibly talented and skilled. Boh the bass player has done more shows with them than I think anyone else. He has said he would rather play with them than anyone else. The Kamiband members are all older than Su Moa and Yui. Su is now 25 and Moa is 23. As far as favorite song goes. Usually, it's the last song you heard by them. Su has the magically ability to move you with voice. Babymetal concerts have been described as Life altering experiences. I usually tell reactors to start a the beginning so they can grow with them. Literally since they were so young when they started. Their first song... Doki Doki Morning. Your about to lose your mind. Enjoy the journey through the foxhole and into the Babymetal galaxy of music.
Favorite songs: 1. Tales of the Destinies 2. Akatsuki 3. Syncopation 4. Headbanger! If you are a prog-metal fan definitely check out TotD and The One. If you like Powermetal, check out Road of Resistance, or Ijime Dame Zettai. The group was formed with 3 members: Su-metal (the vocalist you saw in this video), Moametal (scream and dance, also in this video), and Yuimetal (scream and dance), but Yuimetal had to leave the group in 2018 due to health reasons. Since her departure the group has gone on as a duo with back-up dancers filling in for Yui. At the recent concert in January (where this video was filmed), they teased that in April they could be announcing an official new 3rd member, but we don't have to go into that now. They have 3 studio albums right now, with a 4th releasing in March. In my opinion, you cannot go wrong listening to ANY of the tracks from the self titled first album (Babymetal) or their second album, Metal Resistance. The third album, Metal Galaxy, has many good songs as well, but for me overall it wasn't as good as the first two. One last thing, the hand gesture you see fans making here is not the normal metal horns. It's an altered version called a "kitsune" meant to depict a fox head (kitsune is Japanese for fox). This band has a LOT of 'lore' centered around the 'Fox God' which is where this originates from. Welcome to BM fandom, hope you enjoy your trip down the foxhole! 🤘🤘
Great reaction, and quite the first song to listen to. It is almost fitting that this is your first song as this is the first live concert Babymetal had done for almost 2 years and that was the opening song for the concert. A lot of people gave you a history of Babymetal already, telling you they started in 2010 when they were very young, at the ages of 14 and 12. Their first song was Doki, Doki morning. So if you want to see how far they've come from what you just witnessed to what they were, it might be interesting for you to check that song out. Look for the earliest life version you can find, or the music video. That being said, it is almost always recommended to watch Babymetal's live stuff as they excel in live performances as you just saw. The main singer is Su-metal, full name is Suzuka Nakamoto. You'll always be able to find her since she'll be the only lady sporting a ponytail and she'll also be the one with a hand-held mic. Next up is Moa Kikuchi, also known as Moametal. She does backup vocals and dance. You'll be able to find her by looking for the pigtails and the huge dimples when she smiles, and she is almost always smiling. Lastly you have Yui Mizuno, or Yuimetal. Yui also does backup vocals and dance, she also will have her hair done in pigtails like Moa. Easiest way to tell her apart from Moa is to look for the chubby baby cheeks. Yui is babycheeks which she is very proud of. She is often referred to as the tomato queen as she loves tomatoes and will even eat them like you would an apple. Sadly in 2018 Yui had to leave the band for health reason, leaving only Su and Moa. They've been performing just to 2 of them as the main unit of Babymetal ever since with "step-in" girls covering for Yui's spot (but never doing vocals), which they were calling avengers. You'll know an avenger by their hair. They won't have pigtails or pony tails. Instead they will have twin buns where the pigtails would be. Lastly, There really isn't any order of songs to choose from per say, although many reactors are enjoying going through the songs by album, starting at the earliest and working their way through he albums. Regardless of what you decide to do, you'll be in for a treat. Every song you're going to find is very different from the last. Babymetal loves exploring and experimenting. So you're going to find them doing rap metal, indian metal, Irish metal, hiphop metal. You name it they've done it. And while things like hiphop metal may sound awful, trust us when we say, just try it. Babymetal will make it work. They have a special talent to make their music work. I don't like hiphop if I'm going to be completely honest. I'm not a rap fan either. I can appreciate the skill and talent in watching rappers when they do on the spot rap and make things up as they are rapping, but it isn't something I enjoy listening to, but while BxMxC isn't my favorite song by far, I do enjoy listening to it now and then (that is their rap metal song just in case you didn't figure that out lol). The babymetal fans, you'll find, are a good bunch of people and we are VERY dedicated to these girls, having watched them grow from 14 year olds just starting out, to 15 year olds singing at Budokon in front of mostly adult male metal heads, to 16 year olds singing in Sonisphere in front of crazy British metal heads who have a reputation for throwing bottles of urine and such at bands they don't like (and getting those fans so much in love with them that they sold out of most of their merchandise and sold more Merch than any of the other bands that year) to now. Most of us think of these girls as little sisters. Anyhow, Babymetal saw that we were learning Japanese just so we could sing along with them at their shows. They were so touched by that, that they made a song dedicated to the fans and they learned how to sing that song in English to show their appreciate and love for their fans. They called us "The One", and that is the name of the song they created for their fans. It is a love letter to their fans in essence. Anyhow, I think that is enough for you to read for now. Hopefully I didn't regurgitate too much of what everybody else said. Once you've listened to enough songs (we'll let you know when typically), you'll be recommended to watch the Everything You Need To Know About Babymetal by CrypticMisery. It will explain a lot more. Anyways, great reaction, and enjoy the ride. You're going to enjoy it.
Babymetal is my all time favourite band, forever THE ONE (their fans are represented as THE ONE). Babymetal consist of Suzuka Nakamoto (Su-metal) vocal and dance, Moa Kikuchi (Moa-metal) scream and dance and yui mizuno (yui-metal left the band in 2018 due to health issues) scream and dance. Babymetal is mainly focused on these three (now two) girls and backed by Kami band for live shows. Babymetal invented a new sub-genre called Kawaii Metal (cute Metal) combination of pop+Metal+all other music genres. They are better Known for their massive live shows. Welcome to the Foxhole 🤘🦊🤘Babymetal is a journey you will learn more about the band in your upcoming reactions... My recommendations, 1. Road of resistance live in Japan 2. Akatsuki live at budokan 2014 live 3. Megitsune MV & live 4. Syncopation live 5. Rondo of nightmare live at budokan 2014 6. Headbangeeeerrrr live legend 1997 7. Karate MV & live (Budokan 2021 & Download 2016) 8. Monochrome MV 9. The One live 10. ijime dame zettai live at sonisphere 2014 UK
Welcome to the fox Hole. You asked for info, and the one, babymetals fandom will certainly answer lol. Grington and Jake will give you a wall of text if they haven't already.
Top 5 in no particular order... 1. Headbanger Live at Legend 1997 2. Rondo of Nightmare with Mischiefs of the Gods Intro (Black Night at Budokan) 3. Road of Resistance Live in Japan 4. Karate Official Music Video 5. Megitsune (any performance whatsoever)
The word Legend is used as a trade-off for the word Live. As you see in the comments almost all will want you to react to live (legend) stuff. This is going to be a wild ride for you, I'm thinking. Have fun going down The Foxhole (Babymetal Galaxy).
Listening to some of your other reactions sounds like you'll definitely need to hit, BxMxC. Take your time though... I'd listen to some of thier other material first just to get the full picture.
Welcome to the foxhole! You’re in for one hell of a ride my friend! Babymetal is a Kawaii (Cute) Metal band from Japan that started back in 2010. It originally consisted of 3 members. The main vocalist, The Goddess and Our Queen, Suzuka Nakamoto (aka Su-Metal) is the leader. The other beautiful woman you saw in the video is Moa Kikuchi (aka Moa-Metal) and she is the back up vocals and the dancer of the band. The third member was Yui Mizuno (aka Yui-Metal) and she was also the back up vocals and dancer of the band. But sadly, she left the band back in 2018 due to an unknown illness. The song you just heard was from their upcoming album that is releasing at the end of March this year. Now that you kinda have a little intro to this amazing band you should definitely check out all of their other stuff. Some songs I would suggest: Headbanger Road of resistance Megitsune Karate Pa Pa Ya Yava Brand New Day Death GJ! (Black Babymetal, Consist of just yui and moa) Onedari Daisakusen (Black Babymetal) Doki Doki Morning Catch me if you can Sis Anger (black Babymetal) From dusk to dawn Distortion Kagerou Starlight I can go on! These are just my personal favorites! Have fun!
Enjoy the BabyMetal ride. They are phenomenal in every way. You should react to their earlier songs. Karate, headbanger and catch me if you can. Watch their live performances. 🖤🔥🖤🔥
The footage you just watched was recorded last month. Audio is the studio version. BABYMETAL is from Japan, not from Korea. The name BABYMETAL has at least three meanings: 1) Japanese wordplay. BABYMETAL and heavy metal are almost identical. Only the first syllable (kanji) is slightly different. 2) During their first live performance in 2010, the three girls were 11, 11 and 12 years old. 3) Birth of a new genre. They call it kawaii (cute) metal. Every BABYMETAL song is different than their other songs. I mean really different. Some songs are extremely heavy, others almost pop. You did the wrong hand sign. Forget about the horns. Do the fox sign.
They are from Japan The name does not refer to age or voices, what happens is that Babymetal and heavy metal in Japanese is written and pronounced almost the same "WELCOME TO FOXHOLE" #notacult
As an old metalhead and won over fan, I would almost suggest checking out "Road of Resistance" live at the Tokyo Dome, then ease into maybe "Megitsune", and finally go way back and hit up "Gimme Chocolate" at Legend 1997 concert. It's a weird ride at first, but it's well worth it.
Excellent content dude, if you have an open mind, then they are an awesome metal journey and if you have an open heart, then they are an amazing experience
I subscribed so I can see your Babymetal journey. They are the best thing I've heard in decades, and I love seeing people make their way through their incredibly powerful and diverse discography. I'd start with the first.album, and stick to live tracks, they are superb live. Headbanger (Legend 1997 concert), Road of Resistance (live), Catch Me If You Can (at Budokan live), Ijime Dame Zettai at Sonisphere 2014 are popular reactor vids. The MV for Megitsune is great. Welcome aboard mate, you'll love it.
You are one of the few reactors I've come across whose first view of Babymetal is of the Babymetal of today. Currently, Babymetal is 2 girls, Su-metal and Moametal. Until 2018 it was 3... and it looks like they will be returning to 3 in April. There is 10 years of history and music leading to this specific moment in the video. I suggest going back to the early years and checking out two songs. The first being "Headbanger Legend 1997" and "Babymetal Death Legend 1997. Those two songs will give you a wonderful view into what they were (both are from the same 2013 concert, which was Su-metal's (singer) 16th birthday concert) , with Metal Kingdom being what they are. The next two songs to check out would be Road of Resistance Live in Japan and Karate. That will take you on a chronological journey through Babymetal. To complete that journey, you would also need to check out a song from their 2019 album "Metal Galaxy". The video there would be PaPaYa. So.... in chronological order... Headbanger Legend 1997 Babymetal Death Legend 1997 Road of Resistance Live in Japan Karate (Live at Download Festival or the MV) PaPaYa After that, it's a free for all. Until this most recent album, which has not even released yet, no two Babymetal songs sounded the same. There is something there for everyone.
As a lot of the other comments have said, BABYMETAL is Japanese. I'll leave the teaching about them to those better than me at it and I'll just throw in my favorite songs, Megitsune, Headbanger, BxMxC and Monochrome. Though to be honest, all their songs are quite unique and really good.
The name BABYMETAL refers to the birth of a new genre. They currently consist of Su-metal and Moametal who formed the group in 2010 when they were 12 and 11 years old respectively. They are backed by an incredibly talented session band called the Kami Band. All their songs are more or less great, but I say "Megitsune" if I can only pick one.
Would love if you can react to their song "Babymetal - Pa pa ya!" Given how much you loved Metal Kingdom, Pa pa ya is going to make you headbang 3x times harder!!
One of my favorite Babymetal songs is "Tales of the Destinies", and one of my favorite songs featuring Babymetal is "Kingslayer" by Bring Me The Horizon
only problem with starting with this song is that now you are ruined for earlier stuff. LOL. Su the lead singer has been on stage in some form since she was 6 years old. Babymetal was an experiment to blend two totally different styles and some how it works. sad this video is live but audio is studio. Babymetal is best served live. they have won so many awards. now you will have to look into them more. to me the next reaction you should do is Karate from Download 2016. it shows how good they are live at a festival and they main point of Babymetal is the crowds and how they interact with them.
I'm so excited to follow you on your BABYMETAL journey. Live performances are more often than not the way to go for them. I think one exception to that however would be the song Megitsune since I've found with most of the live performances of that one song you don't hear one very important and interesting part. Every BABYMETAL song is different, still a mix of jpop and metal, but different styles and subgenres. Some suggestions I think you could react to as part of your journey into the foxhole 🦊🤘 These are titles of videos on TH-cam: BABYMETAL - Road of Resistance - Live in Japan (OFFICIAL) BABYMETAL - Headbanger Live @ Legend 1997 Apocalypse BABYMETAL - Ijime,Dame,Zettai - Live at Sonisphere 2014,UK (OFFICIAL) BABYMETAL - メギツネ - MEGITSUNE (OFFICIAL) BABYMETAL | Catch Me If You Can (with Kami Band Intro) | LIVE at Budokan Black Night (HQ) BABYMETAL | Rondo of Nightmare (w/ Mischiefs of Metal Gods Intro) | LIVE at Budokan Black Night BABYMETAL - 'YAVA!'「ヤバッ!」(Kami band intro) [LIVE PROSHOT] [SUBTITLED] [4K HQ] Then once you're through a few of those you might be ready for this one: BABYMETAL | BABYMETAL DEATH | LIVE at Legend 1997 (HQ) [Intro subtitled]
If you are entering the world of Babymetal, I highly recommend any of these: Karate, Gimme Chocolate, Shanti Shanti, Pa Pa Ya, and Da Da Dance. Love the reaction!
Explore more bands from Japan. Theres a bunch of female bands there. Please react to Lovebites, Nemophila, and BAND-MAID. You'll definitely gonna love them.
My favourite Babymetal song is "Iine", but it's really particular and it's really early in their career... The MV is fire xD Now that you found Babymetal (Japanese ;) ) there is an additional "BABY" band that you must react to! Try "Nippon Manju" from LadyBaby :) SO you're both into K-Pop and Metal? Other than Babymetal, i think you would find extremely interesting both the bands "Dreamcatcher" and "Rolling Quartz" :D
I don't have a favorite Babymetal song of all time, they are just too many great songs. But there are two songs I'm listening to currently on repeat that I'm addicted to, they're called "PA PA YA" and "Shanti Shanti Shanti". You can find them on their album Metal Galaxy.
Babymetal is one of my favorite metal bands that I'm very much into! If I would pick just one best song from this band than it would be "Pa Pa Ya! (ft. F. Hero)". So I would be happy if You could check it out! Great reaction! 😃
BabyMetal headbanger live legend of 1997. And the are Japanese. The band started with Su Metal , Moa Metal and Yui Metal. But Yui Metal got sick and she was replaced by Momo Metal when the band was in their 20’s. The band that plays for them is called Kami band ( God band ) and they started that type of music Kawaii Metal ( cute metal) . The people who helped form the group was going to replace them as they got older but to their surprise Su Metal and the Girls was a hit. As so much they was the first musicians to place on a billboard outside of Japan since 1966. And their first concert in the United States the girls thought they were losing the show but halfway everyone started to love them and at the end of their set people was demanding more from the girls.
Oh BABYMETAL is no joke friend, and it will open to you the door to the whole J-Metal scene, you will find there are other metal bands that kick ass like LOVEBITES around there. But first, enjoy delving a bit in the world of BABYMETAL. This video is from the 29th of january and this girls are 25/23 now, but they started in 2010, literally as babies.
🤘🦊🤘 spot on

Nintendo are notoriously strict with enforcing copyright on their IPs even when it would benefit them to let things slide. I think it’s a business culture difference in Japanese companies that they don’t see the value in free exposure that social media like TH-cam creates.

(Many are grand-daughters in terms of age.)
Uh-oh, we also say "Japan is the country obsessed by Jazz". It had started earlier than rock 😄
OMG 67-year fan of Babymetal! Respect / как у нас говорят - снимаю шляпу)
Glad to hear that there are fans older than me. 🙂
@@lotsoflife8236 In 14 BABYMETAL arena shows I have been to I saw many guys apparently older than me. Holy shit I envy you so much, having all of Babymetal to discover for the first time. There's NOTHING like it on the planet.
i was goinmg to say the same thing....

Babymetal are Japanese not Korean
Best band in the world right now. You have absolutely no idea what you’re in for. This band shock, surprise and confuse but always…..and I mean always….delight.
But they never disappoint you
I was going to like your comment, but you have 69 likes and I don't want to be the one who ruins that number.
He was able to observe the reigning queen and the crown princess of metal in an audience.
A very good idol group but not a band, certainly not the best, not even from Japan. From my point of view, Hanabie is a lot better and more creative.
😁 #notacult
You're in for a HELL of a ride! They have been around since Su-Metal(the lead singer) was 12. Their music is all over the spectrum, but it's all spectacular! A few of my favorites include:
Doki Doki Morning (their first single)
Gimme Chocolate (this is what they went viral with in 2013)
Megitsune (2013, still one of their best)
Headbanger
Road of Resistance (Herman Li co-wrote this one, do the Live in Japan version)
Pa Pa Ya (do the live ft. F. Hero. He's a Thai rapper)
Kingslayer (Bring Me the Horizon ft. Babymetal)
BxMxC (Baby Metal Cypher)
The One
Divine Attack
Monochrome
Last 2 are off their new album that drops next month called 'The Other One'

BabyMetal is a Japanese band. A fusion of Jpop & Metal genres. Been together for over 10 years. No two songs are the same. They have different Metal genres from thrash to prog to djent to black metal.
As for my favorite BabyMetal songs…
1. Syncopation
2. Kagerou
Metal Queen Su and Princess Moa will continue to amaze you.
One of the most diverse bands out there! Just keep going and you will keep getting surprised almost every song 🤘🦊🤘
They started back in 2010 when Su was 12 AND Moa and Yui were 11 (but BABYMETAL is not about their age but rather that the words heavy and baby written in Japanese are almost identical)
Their songs all differ from each other and cover the whole of metal genre including power, speed, nu, etc and even range into rock ballards almost and even solos by Su.
OMG. The One, he NEEDS to see Doki Doki Morning.... I'll tell ya, it would be a totally hilarious reaction...
They don't need a big stage to impress, they appreciate any audience, but big audience is very much appreciated, please react to:
BABYMETAL - Ijime,Dame,Zettai - Live at Sonisphere 2014,UK (OFFICIAL)
Here are some fun facts about this Japanese group BabyMetal
1. Their most famous song Gimme Chocolate was named one of the most important metal songs of the last 10 years
2. Dragon Force performed Gimme Chocolate with BabyMetal
3. The Red Hot Chili Pepper performed Gimme Chocolate with them.
4. They are buds with Metallica and Slipknot
5. They had a cameo in Corey Taylor's video
6. They performed Pain Killer and Breaking the Law with Rob Halford of Judas Priest
7. They are the only Asian group to ever hit #1 on Billboards Top Rock chart.
8. BabyMetal and Black Pink are the only albums by girl groups in history to enter the Top 10 of Billboard’s World Albums Year End Chart.
9. In a recent interview Corey Taylor of Slipknot was asked who he listened to at home and he said "BabyMetal"
Newer songs I would suggest are BxMxC the official video and Pa Pa Ya! feat. F. Hero The girls are all grown up and beautiful and put on a stunning performance
Your next song should be Legend of 1997 Head Banger because it will shatter your concept of audience reaction. When Metallica saw them live they said they were astonished at their awesomeness
Great first reaction and welcome to the BABYMETAL Fox Hole.🦊This will be the opening track on the album being released 24th March - and of course they used it as the epic and theatrical opening number for their concerts (their first in nearly 2 years) last weekend - that was where this was filmed.🤘🦊🤘
There are already some excellent comments explaining who they are and some of their history etc so I won't repeat all that.
60 songs 😁
Po!
Here are some songs to check out among the many they have done.

Fun Fact: Bullfrogs are her Kryptonite
Yui Mizuno\Yuimetal (Scream and Dance) Former member since 2018: Angel of Dance, Princess Yui, Tomato Princess, Kawaii Princess and Devourer of Souls (or at least she stares into your soul).
Fun Fact: Yui is tickled by Bullfrogs.
** WARNING ** Do NOT, ever, under any circumstances call her “small”,
“short” or “tiny”.
They are:
Riho Sayashi: Suzuka’s former rival at Actors School Hiroshima, having often competed for the same roles.
Oh who am I kidding....We are #TotallyACult
Your ** WARNING ** is about Moa 😛
@@TheLeomarti Can go either way really. Depends on who was going through a growth spurt at the time.
Sorry that is Su Metal not Mo metal.
1. Road of Resistance (Live in Japan)
2. Headvanger.(Live Legend 1997 Concert)
3. Rondo of Nightmare (Budukan Black Night)
4. Akatushi Budukan Black Night)
5. Karate (Download Festival UK 2016)
7. Death (Legend 1997 Concert Show Closer was right after Headbanger)
9. Distortion
10. Megutsune Music Video to see how young they were. And for Su Metal SHORT SWORD KATANA MIC.
12. GJ. (LEGEND XX MOA SOLO 1st time doing a Black BABYMETAL SONG WITHOUT YUI AFTER SHE LEFT. CROWD HELPED HER WITH IT. SO GOOD.)
13. YAVA
Enought to go on with. Not a FAVORITES LIST. KEEP TO LIVE VIDEOS MOSTLY. OFFICIAL WILL RUN YOU AFOUL OF AMUSE (BABYMETALs Management Company who love Copyright striking videos).
Who is Babymetal you ask? They are the GOAT of Japanese rock/metal and one of the greatest metal bands ever, BTW live is the best way to experience this band. You can also expect a massive number of views everytime you post one of their videos 🦊🤘
I don't know who Baby Monster are, but Babymetal are one of the most reacted to bands on the planet; difficult to believe that a TH-cam reactor in 2023 didn't know of them
you don't know what you have discovered 🦊🤘🏽
Welcome to the BABYMETAL Galaxy or now should I say Kingdom. You haven't seen anything yet. Enjoy the journey if you continue down the Fox hole. 🤘🦊🤘🎌
Babymetal 101: Their live shows with live singing and instruments are 200% better than their studio and most of their official music videos, and better than 99% of idol groups out there too. They one of the world's top live bands - in fact you can find some music video they straight up used live footages from some shows - like the video you just watched here (only few are actually live audio - like No Rain No Rainbow, Road of Resistance)
I highly recommend you check Megitsune - the quintessential Babymetal song, or Road of Resistance live official video, Headbanger live at Legend 1997, or Karate live at Download festival 2016.
They were officially introduced on the 2010 October 10. An experiment that got out of hand. Formed by
Su-metal (Suzuka Nakamoto 12 years Vocalist ) also known as Queen-Su or true metal goddess.
Moametal (Moa Kikuchi 11years Chorus)
Yuimetal (Yui Mizuno 11years Chorus ) does not appear in the last concert of 2017, his retirement is announced in 2018.
His fourth work "the other one" (The one, is the official name of the fans) It's a concept album
" WELCOME TO FOXHOLE"
#notacult
Enjoy the journey, man. I wish I could experience them for the first time again. Mind blowing live performances. They have one of (if not) the best production teams on the planet today. I’ve bought 3 of their live performance blu-rays since discovering them. My PS5 has almost burnt holes in the discs since then.
This song is just the tip of the iceberg. If you love Metal, and have an open mind, Babymetal will absolutely consume you. There’s a ton of stuff to learn.
Thank you for asking! Tales of the Destinies, Syncopation, From Dusk to Dawn, Yava, GJ! No Rain No Rainbow, Akatsuki, oh, and about 40 others
If you are lucky you will find many dissertations from fans explaining to you Babymetal's entire history (maybe even longer than this one! lol) We love welcoming new people into The One #notacult lol
I look forward to watching you enjoy your journey down the foxhole! Kitsune up!
Great reaction, and you have not seen anything yet! I can't say anything that has not been already been mentioned (like they a Japanese metal fusion band), I would suspect...but I will day that you will continually impressed with what you about to start witnessing. And I will be looking forward to all those coming reactions! Kitsune up!
'Babymetal road of resistance' as the next step into the fox hole plz
Babymetal never disappointed since 2013 until now
Road of Resistance Live in Japan is a standard must react.
Their arena productions are rivaled only by Rammstein's
No-one has ever done it before, but it may be interesting for you to start with their newest songs and work backwards through their catalog, which I'm sure would result in increasing WTF reactions for months (they are about to release their 4th album, which is the source of this song).
Rondo of nightmare .next..
Not K-pop J Metal Babymetal are a Japanese band that have been around since 2010 so they have a long history that you can look into enjoy
BabyMetal - Headbanger self-explanatory
Welcome to the Foxhole...I would suggest "Monochrome" official lyric video that has the english words, it's also new and rocks. 🤘🦊🤘
More babymetal.. but live amuse is very strict with copyright
Great reaction, thanks and welcome to BABYMETAL kingdom (queendom?? ...whatever!)
Of course you have no idea what rabbit hole are you getting into because you have fallen into the Fox Hole.
Favorite songs:
1. Tales of the Destinies
2. Akatsuki
3. Syncopation

Welcome to the fox Hole. You asked for info, and the one, babymetals fandom will certainly answer lol. Grington and Jake will give you a wall of text if they haven't already.
Here's to you, who met these girls on BABYMETAL's most laid-back song!
Top 5 in no particular order...
1. Headbanger Live at Legend 1997
2. Rondo of Nightmare with Mischiefs of the Gods Intro (Black Night at Budokan)
3. Road of Resistance Live in Japan
4. Karate Official Music Video
5. Megitsune (any performance whatsoever)
Dad, you have big gap to BM, about last 12 years...welcome to Fox-World...Kistune-Up!!!!
Some songs I would suggest:
Headbanger
Road of resistance
Megitsune
Karate
Pa Pa Ya
Yava
Brand New Day
Death
GJ! (Black Babymetal, Consist of just yui and moa)
Onedari Daisakusen (Black Babymetal)
Doki Doki Morning
Catch me if you can
Sis Anger (black Babymetal)
From dusk to dawn
Distortion
Kagerou
Starlight
I can go on!
The name BABYMETAL has at least three meanings:
1) Japanese wordplay.
If you love metal, Please listen 'BABYMETAL - Rondo of Nightmare Live @ Budokan Black Night'
Check out Bring Me The Horizon featuring Babymetal - Kingslayer
If you don’t get out of your seat with excitement, I’ll be surprised. 😂
They are from Japan
The name does not refer to age or voices, what happens is that Babymetal and heavy metal in Japanese is written and pronounced almost the same
"WELCOME TO FOXHOLE"
#notacult
Oh were a cult ;) 🤘🦊
@@paulbenwell3560 Shhhh...you are not supposed to say it out loud! LoL!!
Kitsune UP!!
If you haven't already check out their new collab with Electric Callboy, "Ratatata". It's seriously blowing up right now!
Ask and you shall receive. XD Welcome to the Fox Hole. There's room for everyone in The One. 🤘🦊🤘 #notacult
Babymetal are japanese, not korean. If you want korean metal bands, i suggest Messgram and Synsnake.
Excellent content dude, if you have an open mind, then they are an awesome metal journey and if you have an open heart, then they are an amazing experience
Their backing band is fantastic, a great intro to them is "Catch me if you can".
Learning Babymetal with their latest song, oh boy, you are not at the deep end of a pool. You're in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.
Headbanger Legend 1997
Babymetal Death Legend 1997
Road of Resistance Live in Japan
Karate (Live at Download Festival or the MV)
PaPaYa
After that, it's a free for all.
Headbanger - Legend 1997
#foxgod #notacult
well i think you might like "Karate" or "Rondo of nightmare"
Live video versions if possible. We know how fanatical Amuse is with copyright claims. 😂
Choose any live performance. You'll be pleased.
You are in for a ride!
Would love if you can react to their song "Babymetal - Pa pa ya!"
Given how much you loved Metal Kingdom, Pa pa ya is going to make you headbang 3x times harder!!
One of my favorite Babymetal songs is "Tales of the Destinies", and one of my favorite songs featuring Babymetal is "Kingslayer" by Bring Me The Horizon
OMG!!! We have been requesting you to check them out forever. I just gave up because thought you were stanning only k-pop.
only problem with starting with this song is that now you are ruined for earlier stuff.
I rediscovered them 2 months ago and have been listening to them about everyday since....
Interested in your journey, check out some more!
Some suggestions I think you could react to as part of your journey into the foxhole 🦊🤘

No one is really ready for Babymetal Death - Live at Legend 1997. No one.
Gran reaccion, deberias escuchar una cancion de su periodo 100% kawaii metal, llamada Catch me if you can, live Budokan Black Night 2014.
🤘🦊🤘
You were able to observe the reigning queen and the crown princess of metal in an audience.
You'll definitely gonna love them.
still waiting for more reaction from this group 🦊🤘
My favourite Babymetal song is "Iine", but it's really particular and it's really early in their career... The MV is fire xD
Now that you found Babymetal (Japanese ;) ) there is an additional "BABY" band that you must react to! Try "Nippon Manju" from LadyBaby :)
SO you're both into K-Pop and Metal?
please more reaction to BABYMETAL :)
Babymetal is awesome. You should check out Megitsune, it's one of their older songs and it's amazing
Thanks for the reaction! Brings me back to when I first discovered them. I hope you dive into this band. You will not be disappointed, trust. 🤘🦊🤘
Subscribing for more babymetal reactions 🤟🦊
I love them. They kind of break up the stereotypical metal world.
Honestly EVERY SINGLE SONG is my favorite and welcome to the fandom!
