There is a lot of stuff about Indian politics you probably don't understand. But things are not always as they are portrayed on news, and this movie is not about any kind of propaganda. True we have a lot of stuff that's bad in our country, but there is a reason why this movie has received so much love. It's because it is very sincere, and some people find flaws in everything. To Ryan the woke and the dumb dude,
    1) Lord Ram is a God worshipped by 500 million people. Someone chants His name in a violent incident doesn't mean His imagery can't be in a movie. It's like saying you can't show Jesus in a movie coz Anti abortionists are inspired by the Bible. That's the most racist thing ever, white man. 2) That's literally the get-up and the robe SitaRamaRaju used in his real life. It's nothing to do with RW nationalism, dud. 3) Rajamouli inserted a Muslim character into the movie where it wasn't even needed. Bheem plays a Muslim in half of the movie. There's no Anti Muslim sentiment there. 4) India had 1000s of freedom fighters who died for the country. Gandhi doesn't have to be mentioned in every song about freedom fighters. It's kind of fascist to be wanting to impose him every where actually. 5) The movie literally showed 2 unsung heroes, the song did the same thing. It's dumbfuckery to expect Gandhi or any other prominent figure to feature in the song.
If you put ur narrow minded thinking and reducing everything to political messaging aside for a while at least, the movie is enjoyable. Otherwise you life will be a hell hole where you outrage about every non existent thing every day. Grow a brain. Get a life.

Regarding the imagery, The saffron color outift Ram wears in the climax is actually his real life historical counterpart, Alluri Seetharama Raju's real oufit. It's like seeing Bruce Wayne put on the Bat Suit. It's sad that it has turned into an Alt right image. Agreed a little with Bheem. But I think it was part of arc with Ram as he asks in the climax for education. According to rajamouli in a 2019 press meet, Bheem after his 10 year Exile came back educated, well versed, sharp & very intelligent.

Talking about Right nationalism, do you know about a document caught by police about making india a islamic republic by 2047, the organisation is PFI( hardcore muslim organisation with making their army all over India and influencing our muslim brothers agianst hindus)
We nationalist want to live in peace and see our country grow!
Not all muslims are that way, many are hardcore nationalist and we are proud of our muslim brothers.
The missile man of India APJ Abdul Kalam, is a legend and one of the most important person in Indian history.
All the fuss is caused because of the negative coverage of events by media.
Our institutions were taken over by leftists and communists long ago during Soviet Era.
They want us to disconnect from our religion and culture, thats always in their agenda.
But we recognising their hypocrisy and fighting back through still following our constitution, we are never going to cause any harm to the country or even think about taking arms or anything!
The media and institutional leftists are now scared that why resurgence of cultural identity is happening and trying their best to stop it, ridicule it in internatinal media.
The bollywood is long been infiltrated by leftists, like if you want to work with big bollywood directors you have to start posting in twitter about how backward the festivals of hinduism are, only then your allowed to work in bollywood or else your cancelled.
Only the southern indistries are remaining which come out with movies celebrating our culure, not ridiculing it.
Like in PK movie they show a character playing Lord Shiv running around in toilet, this is slow poison inserting in our minds to ridicule our heritage.
Let me be clear the hindu side does everything according to the constitution, and what i'm proud about, there some exceptions but exceptions are everywhere, if by the way something wrong gets done by hindu the media starts shouting, but if done by muslims they try to remove the religious angle.
    It's all about media coverage!

S.S Rajamouli was just trying to elevate his heroism so ramayanam theme was added. Nothing to do with religion .
This film didn't influenced any kind of religion crimes in India (because it didn't critized other religion or instigated crime)
There are lot of mythologies, stories in India and I think you have lot of freedom to use those ideas if you are not hurting or criticising other communities( since india is so diverse)

And Rama dressed liked that statue (idol from where he gets his 🏹) of ancient Indian Rama. You should read the lyrics of song playing in background music in last forest battle. Just because someone start killing in name of religion or someone uses Jesus Christ's name to discriminate against others, doesn't mean people should stop praying to HIM. Similarly if some terrorist groups are using Lord Ram's name to spread hatred and violence doesn't mean symbolism of Lord Ram becomes wrong or the colour Saffron (which is one of the most sacred colour of Hindus) becomes bad. Same symbol can be used for both positive and negative, it depends on how the person uses it. If you really notice Bheem character in the beginning disguises as Aktar a Muslim guy and stays with a Muslim family. Were those Muslims shown in bad light? Those huge crowds u see in the movie had people from different religion Hindus, Muslim, Sikhs in every scene shown with one common goal. If someone like Trump becomes the President doesn't everyone in America starts following his ideology.

@@Neelinmact it's not bjp political movie. Because bjp uses Hindu iconography every movie that has slightest of those color or iconography from these epics are being labelled as propaganda. In real life alluri seetaramaraju attire resembles that of ram. Movie shows him in that attire in the last end of film. All telugu people who know how he looks are waiting for that moment to arrive. Those who don't know about that are either misunderstanding the context or confused about it. Again this isn't a djp movie. Telugu films have always used iconography of gods and there are so many mythological films even before bjp came into power.

My heads blown up and heart ached when you pronunced PATHER PANCHALI.... holy jesus.... this is how u pronunce it..
Pa as in paw of english
Ther as in Thor in english now instead of 'o' pronunce it as THER. The T in Ther is pronunced like (Th)or or (Th)ee and not (T)ea.
    So PAW-THER
Path pronunced "PAWTH" means street/road in Bengali language. Path-er pronunced as PAWTH-ER means of the streets.
This is a BENGALI LANGUAGE FILM whose cinema industry is also called TOLLYWOOD in India because the place where these films are made is the place called TOLLYGAUNGE. The director of this movie is an Indian OSCAR winner named SATYAJIT RAY. His films are magnificient piece of art. There is a trio of director's films people like to watch in Bengali cinema called RITWIK GHATAK, MRINAL SEN and SATYAJIT RAY.
BENGALI or BANGLA is the language of both countries Bangladesh and Indian state of WEST BENGAL in the eastern part of India. You must have heard of BENGAL CAT, ROYAL BENGAL TIGER or BENGAL TIGER.
Due to revolution of the Bengalis or Bengali people, today UNITED NATIONS celebrates 21st Feb as INTERNATIONAL MOTHER LANGUAGE DAY. Only because Bengalis of Bangladesh were oppressed to speak their own language Bengali instead forced upon them a different language which was made official by the Pakistani Government. BANGLADESH got independence in 1971 from Pakistan. India got Independence on 15 th Aug 1947 and Pakistan separated from India so got Independence on 14 th Aug 1947 from British India.
Satyajit Ray's family i.e. his father, mother grandfather even son and all of his family members are pre-Independence born people and his father, mother, grandfather are one of those family lineage of poets, novel writers and artists therefore hugely talented. Satyajit Ray's son is also a Film director.
    Now the word Panchali...
Panch actually means 5 in many Indian languages.
But in english you can pronunce it as PUNCH... p(uh)--[n]ch... even tho in english the word punch has the 'n' sound and that will be added to the 'a' of Panchali or in Punch as 'u' ,it also sounds like 'uhn' as in 'ahn' but the real pronunciation of Panchali is with pronunciation 'uhn' and not how americans pronunce the letter A of '[a]hn' like in the letter A of the word Ass.
Now, Panchali is like the french word crossaint... we know that pronunciation of crossaint is kva- sw(an)g... so... Pa'n'ch... will be pronunced as puh(an)ch-ali will actually be puh(uhn)ch-ali with the 'n' almost silent.
Ali is pronunced as normal Ali like english word (ali)mony.. (a--luh)--mow--nee.... but here a--luh will be pronunced as a--lee. And the 'a' in Ali will be pronunced as the same in 'a' alimony. Please do not pronunce the 'a' like you might pronunce the muslim name Ali like in the Disney movie Aladdin.Rather it is pronunced like the expression 'huh' except for the first 'h' only pronunce 'uh'.... so Ali will be pronunced as 'uh'-lee.
    So Paw-ther Puh'uhn'ch-uhli
    PA-THER PANCH-ALI
But do not pronunce the word like Puh--uhh--n-ch--ali..... with long uh uh sound like pronuncing the expression of huh without the first h. The uh pronunciation in the word PANCH is only for understanding.
Also if you have to pronunce it terribly atleast make it digestible enough. Because that was saaaaaad...

And even though it is a Telugu movie, it is made keeping pan India business in mind, so it might as well be Telugu language Bollywood movie. Since Bahubali, Rajamouli and team are making pan India movies, Alia and Ajay Devgan are cast for the same reason , since they are big in mainstream Bollywood.

India has many masterpiece movies, but memes has ruined it's image. You guys are missing many awesome movies. Try watching Sardar Udham, you'll be shocked.
Anyway, regarding the politics, saffron is the color of our Lord Ram, we don't care about politics. Also, saffron is one of the color of Indian flag. And this movie shows exactly opposite what you guys are discussing. It shows how both the freedom fighter got together regarding their caste or religion.

Thanks for your reaction to RRR guys 🙏 .. Though you seemed to like the movie overall, you did sound dismissive / condescending about the over the top action scenes and were critical to the realistic probabilities of some scenes [ ironically Hollywood churns out more outlandish trash year after year😜 ]. Not being rude guys, just opining .✌😁
You need to understand that Indian cinema is very diverse and mind numbingly varid in it's subject matters and cultural approach from different linguistic regions. If you are looking for realism and for you to be able to really appreciate the depth and scope of Indian cinema, you must watch and react to the once in a lifetime and historically accurate movie ''SARDAR UDHAM'' .. It will just rip your soul . Hope you do take this suggestion seriously and I guarantee you, neither you nor your audience will be disappointed. God Bless. From an Indian dude domiciled in Hong Kong... 👍💖 .. [Here's the trailer of the movie, for your consideration.. th-cam.com/video/bLWgKt1-SYo/w-d-xo.html [ don't forget to enable subtitles ] ✌

We may or may not consider doing a reaction video!
We apologize for coming off as condescending. I was more trying to make a point about how our cultures approach blockbusters differently. American ones strive for a sense of realism even if the actual things happening are unrealistic. While Indian movies, in my experience, simply embrace the unreal for the entertaining spectacle that it is. I respect and admire that, and I meant no condescension with it. I apologize if I came off as disrespectful. Thank you for your comments! - Tanner

Connecting image of Lord Ram with far right extremism is as same as connecting all muslim to terrorism because both pray Allah.
It is utterly disrespectful to all who pray Ram. Tell all them hate Muslim and commit crimes in name of God.
