    Image forming at infinite means D is too infinite, then D/f will be infinite. So what's the point of calculating magnification at infinite distance Sir?

    Beta is angle made by image. Why dont we use tan b = hi / D ?
    Why height of object is used ?

      We're trying to find out the "Magnification", we don't know by how much the image gets bigger. Since Magnification is the ratio of the angles, which is similar to ratio of size, so tan(thetha) can be taken as object height by D, cuz we know the object height.
