  • Long Live the King is an inspirational mini-documentary that examines the life and journey of LeBron James. LeBron’s otherworldly prowess on the basketball court has taken center stage, his prolific rise shrouded his incredibly relatable underprivileged upbringing, which this film brings into focus. Stories of a child raised in Akron’s inner-city on his quest for greatness are told by pivotal figures who experienced it first-hand. Key figures include LeBron’s business partner and UNINTERRUPTED CEO Maverick Carter, LeBron’s former St. Vincent-St. Mary H.S. coach Keith Dambrot, Nike executive Lynn Merritt who signed LeBron, Kith-founder Ronnie Fieg, and LeBron James himself.

    This man is the greatest athlete to ever step into a organized sport. Aside from all the accomplishments he's become a father of 3 with the same woman he met in high school. Never once was accused of a scandal, literally nothing but athletic judgement has ever been cast on this man. The greatest role model in the history of sports. Greatest humanitarian in athletics. And lets not forget he is the greatest basketball player of all time.

      yea and he could have been the best baseball player to every play if he didn't play football. Lebron could have easily been equal if not better than top 5 receivers in the past 10 years if he chose football, I'm very confident about that.

    In 2005, I was a first year student in junior high school. One day I went out with my friend to buy jerseys. At that time, Yao Ming was a rising star in NBA, everyone in China was so proud of him, so my friend was also planning to buy a Yao's jersey. I never played basketball before so I barely knew anything about the NBA league. I asked my friend who's gonna be the best in the league and he said there's a "weak team" called the Cavs, but they have a very talented player called "James", you may want to buy his jersey, its cheaper than Yao's or Nowitzki's. I bought one and started to watch NBA. And I was in deep love for this man for the naxt 13 years. Fans like to compare a lot in China. Who's better, Yao or shark, MJ or Kobe. People talk about LeBron too. Haters always say LBJ is not as skillful as Kobe or he can't shoot like Durant. But do I care? NO. I love this man cause he's unique, he has great sportsmanship and humanitarian. He inspires me to push myself to the limit and never give up so in 2017 I started my medical PhD. This great player deserves a 4th ring (and more).

      I can agree that Yao has done a lot for Chinese basket ball and respect him for that. However having said that I would argue that Yao isn't even a top 10 centre all time. For example
      1 Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
      2 Wilt Chamberlain
      3 Bill Russell
      4 Shaq
      5 Hakeem Olajuwon
      6 David Robinson
      7 Patrick Ewing
      8 Moses Malone
      9 Bill Walton
      10 George Mikan

    Greatest basketball player to ever live. Even MJ was educated by hall of fame coaches. Lebron has become the smartest player without collegiate coaches or even a HOF NBA coach. His athletic talent speaks for itself, but mentally he knows every play, for every position, of every team, with less acclaimed mentoring than MJ or anyone for that matter. This is what makes him the greatest ever. He was 18 and dominated the NBA ever since.

      It's been great to watch him all these years. Not sure who I'll watch once he retires, we need more Blake Griffins in the league. I like to watch LeBron and his total domination over the game, driving, passing, court vision, chasedown blocks, pretty good shooter too.
      Unless we get another player like LeBron which won't come easily in todays game, we just need a league of guys like Blake Griffin to throw down monster dunks haha. That GSW 3 point shit is weak

    • @HemisFair210
      @HemisFair210 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nathali Soriano so your idol is a guy that when it gets tough he leaves and jumps on another team(twice), and when he go's to that team he tries to recruit players to join him so it can be easier for him. Also if he doesn't agree with or doesn't get what he wants he gets the coach fired and them denies it and is one of the biggest guys in the nba but whines and cries when he gets fouled...lol

    I'm a big fan of MJ because I grew up watching him play. He made NBA into a global brand and was considered the God of basketball around the world. But as great as he was, he was also very arrogant, selfish and not a good role model. Le Bron is not only a great player but also a humble person that kids can look up to.

      Ibnziyad Tariq LeBron James is an inspiration bc of where he came from and how far he had to go to get hear. Curry was born into the hands of parents serving cookies n cream living in the suburbs where the sun shines everyday.
      LeBron James, grew up struggling to feed himself and everything. Now look how far he's been with all the scrutiny. LBJ is the better inspiration to me.

    • @darnit5
      @darnit5 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      There can only be one LeBron. The message he's trying to convey here is that anyone rise above a struggle or unfair situation through determination and working hard on whatever craft you chose to do. You don't need to be famous or an athlete to sacrifice.

    • @god-sd3zl
      @god-sd3zl 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ibnziyad Tariq stop complaining young one. Be grateful for your life. Syrian babies are dying because of that gas bomb, forced to be amputated at a very young age, living out of fear of explosion. You have it all better than them. Work on your craft, stop complaining.
