12:35 - I was at a Stoneacre dealer picking up some parts when the ECP delivery guy came round with a big box of starline and crosland parts... That is why I supply my own parts to the garage... and never took it to the dealer.
Dear Mr Kirby today I have watched a load of your back vlogs on your channel and I have noticed one common denominator, this came to light on a vlog where a Gail was blowing and it was raining hard, you put up your leaky tarp to do some work on some brakes, even with all this going on your hair never moves? What spam are you using on your syrup ? It never moves it incredible. Great channel bud.
well done mate another great video, good too see you working with marvelous and john three really good mechanics shame you the wrong side of the would use you all the time
Abs pump failure …. Gonna need second hand module from eBay with matching part numbers then forscan to code/program it to match your cars vin if it’s the pump :( Just done a ford focus traction light was on for years lol.
Sometimes it's all down to luck a lot of none mechanics don't understand stubborn bolts can be a popper nightmare working on classic car during restoration being one of the worst spending a day trying to undo 3 bolts
Couldn't believe them bolts in that vw why would you do that to somebodys car that engine could of dropped when driving that was dangerous i only work on my own vehicles nobody else but i do go for older vehicles less technical why didn't they pick that up on the mot but how long was it it taken in? As the spring could of snapped anytime but the droplink is different that should of been noticed on the mot test but im no expert
Not surprised by the broken spring given the state of our roads bet there is many driving around and not realising the problem.
Yeah the town this customer lives there’s loads of potholes
Nice to see you guys working together! Been a follower of both channels for a while now
Glad you’re onboard and enjoy the content👍🏼

Honestly I don’t know how crossland parts are on the market

Great channel bud.
😂😂😂thank you
That broken spring on the MX5 should've been easy to pick up. The drop links would be impossible to prove that they weren't fit to pass the MoT.
That’s why I don’t think MOT’s are worth the paper they are written on sometimes
@Parknest. Stevie Wonder did the MOT.
😂😂😂
Busy days as usual man, hope you come out on top with the mighty Fusion 😁👍
Doesn’t stop, yeah should be a tidy little profit 🤞🏼

Missing fuse bro 😅😅
Got to love a VW 😂 and someone else's mistakes. Absolutely perfect start to the job
You know it 😂😂
What car you got that’s got the side sun visors? What a great idea! Why can’t all cars have them?! The Fusion are definitely becoming rare now
All cars you can move the visor to the door side 👍
I keep calling it a Fiesta 😂😂
Great video, cars are a nightmare - I love them but couldn’t do it for a living, it would drive me nut 👍
😂they do drive me nuts
Great vid again bud ,where uou away on holiday ??
No mate, just didn’t have anything to interesting to film lol
That MX5 passed on the basis that the spring and drop link will be replaced ASAP, I'd of imagined...
If they would have told the customer that yes

Oh don’t talk to me about classics 😂🤦🏻♂️
I had an ABS fault on mk6 fiesta st150 was the pump they rot out with water ingress. ah should have waited 30 secs fuse.
Poor design do you think?
@@kerbsidemobilemechanic Yeh according to a guy who sells recon pumps on ebay. He's an expert. He said there are 2 fuses in the abs circuit.
It’s a shame these faults come to light outside warranty periods
The dream team + john 👌👌🤙🤙🤙🤙

ABS pump they get moisture in trap inside them
Fuse was missing from its location 😂
Marvellous looks so much more intelligent wearing spectacles 😮

Wow cars insurance on that tiny car 😮
Just ridiculous isn’t it
No link in the description for Marv's channel btw 👍🏻
On it 👍🏼
How much extra does it cost to get a blind MOT inspector
I’m not entirely sure as I’ve never used this sort of service
so when you bought the car, did all the mucking around via appointments etc get taken in to account on the price kerby.🤑
Sort of I guess, paid £250 for the car, fuel pump is around £100, car is worth about £1000-£1500
Mot dude missed it or the customer would have heard it snap ,either that it was a buy an mot which is rife up hear lol 😝
Lol deffo not a “buy an MOT” I think on the MOT sheet stated about under seal been used to cover their backside
Good to see you back Kirby 👌lucky they bolts came out for that belt a do watch the other two aswell
Nice one, yeah good lads them 2 ain’t they 👍🏼
hi buddy addded through marv..

Fusion was a result.

What make of spray bottle do you use for your brake cleaner, only the rubber seals on mine have perished.
Tbh I got it off a mate and I’m not 100% sure but I think it’s Wurth
