Thansk for great video , just had one installed wondered if yours makes a racket when you use hot water or it fores up in the morning , mine sounds like a plane taking off
Nice work! Wish more plumbers would pay attention to the modulation specs. As you say, everyone will be soon enough but we should have been looking at this since 2005 and the condensing boiler introduction. Intergas is another that offers great modulation at a reasonable price and stainless heat exchanger too.
@@griffithsheating welcome to the cult mate! Wait till you fit the 111model it’s the most impressive boiler I’ve fitted By the way all the plastic work on the hydroblock is made by grundfos and in 16 years I’ve never had to change a single component yet it’s a top quality composite unaffected by the heat cycles unlike Worcester Bosch or vaillant et cetera
Dude this is the only brand that actively seeks to reduce energy bills and others can but copy…weather comp and open them plus modulation is a killer sales pitch…I do their Commercial and thinking about going back to domestics….
I'm starting a 2 year college programme to retrain as a plumber this year at 38! No gas yet just wet plumbing, but my current day job on an industrial estate is just round the corner from Viessmans warehouse, walk past it on my lunch break. Always tempted to poke my head in but I'm sure they'd just think I was a right wierdo 😂
@@griffithsheating thank you very much. I have a friend in similar boat to me at same company who has done a gas engineer course he wants to do that rather than full plumbing and he's having a nightmare getting people to help him with his portfolio. Feel for the guy he's been ringing and emailing everywhere trying to get the last few jobs signed off. Id like to run my own business eventually biggg challenge ahead but hopefully I can make it happen. 😊
even the smallest air pockets makes the boiler not working. I have installed several already as per request, and always problems with air pockets etc...
I've installed dozens of these in the last 12 months and not had a single issue other than incorrect low voltage wiring that doesn't match the installation instructions. No problems with air locks.
To avoid any air pockets you need to select the filling mode function which allows you to carefully fill and vent the system if you follow this you will not have any problems, most problems are down to people not reading the instructions,
Literally nobody fits viessmann on my local patch so I don't have that much experience with them. Of the ones I've worked on its always blocked up rubber hoses and plate heat exchangers and associated dirty install circulation problems.
Plastic composite hydraulic components are pretty much defacto these days in all domestic boilers. To be honest other than Worcester Bosch hydroblocks I never see failed plastic components in boilers

Top notch boiler mate I’ve fitted dozens now, don’t let ignorant people put u off . Very good to service too
Absolutely. The only problem with Viessmann kit is that you have to read the instructions and can't just sling them 😄
What does a proper service involve and are their gas engineers who do them?
@@nauxsi yes I personally carry out to manufactures specifications on viessmann boilers, very easy to do
On this boiler brand

Bold move. Hope it goes well for you. I get lots of people asking me for help to build their gas portfolio or whatever it is you need these days.

please show hot water flow rates from tap, so people have an idea on what these combi swaps from open vent have an idea on if it fits there needs
Next one we do I'll stick a flow cup and thermometer on it and film it 👍
puts Chuck Norris on the thumbnail thats a bold one
is right though
If Chuck Norris was a heating engineer he'd fit viessmann 👍
