I can see where she is coming from in some ways, I can see the other ladies getting ready and telling each other how good they look etc. without throwing a compliment to her. She is very flirtatious and demands attention from men so I'm sure it makes the other ladies feel insecure about what her intentions really are.
Austen is sketchy- why corroborate with Jason and act like that's some gotcha? Just seems like a reach- a tell that someone is lying is adding weird details.
