I am just as surprised. This was the first run with it since I’ve added to it. If anything I made it noticeably more top heavy. Negotiating obstacles is necessarily a slow methodical process. Not making things easier is the ESC. A HW 1060. Its drag brake is 100% always. Makes for horrible trailing and hurts more than it helps. It would cause me to tip over constantly. Too much mass to stop immediately. So it’s on F,B,R configuration. Spongy brakes save the day.
@@Papa_Shorty some rigs I've learned that it's a delicate balance of add-ons versus adding issues. I've been guilty of taking rigs too far. Like that new FMS LC80 I just got. Walking the tightrope of not wanting to buy all the brass because, given how awesome it crawls already, I can't see trying to make it better when it might not!
Nice and diverse location you have there! I am impressed with the fms fj40, such a scale truck! Enjoy it Papa Shorty!
Nice FJ Shorty I kept saying it’s going to roll right now and my wait continues 👍🏾
It definitely has jelly legs and will tip over if I’m too careless. Especially if I’ve been driving a stable rig right before it.
Driving is on point, you set that rig up right as it doesnt tip. Bravo!! No leads necessary lol. 4:38 6:58 & 8:28 were cool shots!! 🤝
Thanks man. Got to take it slow and steady with this one or it will tip over. It’s definitely not like driving a stable crawler.
Glad to see ya back bro! Looking slick as ever!🤘🏻
Thanks man. It’s kind of a slow return. Wasn’t able too get anything upload uploaded Friday do to hand injuries.
Groovy crawl dude! Nice details on the rig, very good looking.
Thanks man. It’s still a work in progress. Truth be told, the work never ends on one of these. There’s always something to that needs done to them.
I'm impressed with how far that thing can lean over without tipping. Looks like a cool spot to do a bunch of different stuff.

@@VermontScaleCustoms I know exactly what you mean. I’m weary of doing any upgrades. Other esc/motor. Thinking of going furitek.
@@Papa_Shorty maybe take a peek at the Hobbywing 2 in 1. People rave about that. If you have the room under the hood, that might be a great option!
Great run!
@@TheMindsEye-RC thanks! I got to get the FJ running again. Need some body work.
