Nasty Nestor so fun to watch!

The First guy I heard about messing with timing by funky deliveries was Satchel Page in the 1940's. His "hesitation pitch" was ruled a Balk, but damned if it wasn't fun to watch.

Martial arts really does help in that, because it teaches you balance weight dispersement (either equally or heavily unequal), and hip movement, generating power from the ground up.

Nasty Nestor at his best dude is so underrated I’m sure most teams wish they had him he’s turned into such a gem for the Yankees! I’m sure the Yankees didn’t realize they had such a great pitcher till this year

Love watching all these pitchers make funky windups and mess up the timing of the batters.

i am just reveling in the fact that when MLBN runs out of segments, they just do more produced versions of jomboy or foolish baseball vids. This exact concept can be explored in a more concise and compelling way in jomboys breakdown of that shohei / cortes matchup from way back. while vital to the baseball talk ecosystem, mlbn is seeming more and more crusty and inaccessible every day. here's to the 'new baseball media'!!!

I love jomboy but i do love hearing mlb players talk about mechanics. MLBN has the money and name to do that. Credit to jomboy literally changing media for the better

With the pathetic Cardinals offense it doesn’t take much to mess with their timing, considering that they didn’t have any timing to begin with.
