“Not gonna happen again” is such a low down dirty dig lol even if that goofy media guy did not know it. “ Never Happen again” implies FSU had their full team and lost badly. The truth is FSU relied heavily on an outstanding first string, and a very good batch of rotational players on both sides of the ball, if you take away that layer , you take away the actual entire team, from yards, td’s and defensive production that won them 13 games and an ACC title. That was not the team that beat LSU down in game 1 let alone the team that Beal Lville for a conference title.
On top of that , they were down to a 3rd string true freshman who was not ready. Georgia has been in the up and up for like 6-7 years, often bringing in top 3 recruiting classes with low transfer turnover, FSU was not recruiting well until the past 2 years or so. So in reality that game was FSU’s thin 2nd and 3rd string vs UGAs full team from elite 1st string to very deep 2nd string and as good a 3rd string group you can have. Good on UGA for being loaded that’s not Kirby’s problem if he’s been killing it in the cfb game like he has been but this narrative regarding FSU getting stomped by UGA in a fair match up is nonsense, but ofc Coach Norvell can’t point out the truth or risk being called a sore loser lol
