Very informative and detailed video. Thank you for posting this! I have never replaced the grease in my RUPES polishers but now I can do it. I feel more confident knowing I am using the proper grease in the RUPES machine.
Thanks! my representativr told me i didnt need to lube it, but i keps having mine rebuilt cause it got really loud and hot. i knew i needed to add grease. its SOOO quiet now 😅
Which grease did you find in the gear box when you first time opened it ? was it super lube? The problem I find with Super lube is that it not tacky at all so not sure it will stick to the gears.
Very thorough . But u said the grease already in there before was the same grease you replaced it with. Is that from factory or you previously swapped the factory grease prior to the video?
Hey, Yes sorry. Already greased it. Then realized I wanted to make a video. So redid everything. The grease I used was super lube! It’s been going strong since. Can I tell a difference? No… does it run quieter? I can’t tell… cooler? Again. I can’t tell. But it gives me peace of mind and I’ll replace and clean everything every season. I feel if you just let it go…. The machine just gets too dirty. Mine runs and looks brand new still.
Ok so here’s the thing. It’s a sealed system. So you shouldn’t ever lose grease…. So that’s a plus. However overtime the grease breaks down and doesn’t perform as well. I really cannot answer that question. I changed the grease on mine to “ what I think” is a higher quality grease. Do I notice a difference in performance or sound? No. Do I have peace of mind? 100% I went with super lube. It’s really good stuff. I own a car wash and derail center. I use my machine about 4-5 hours a day now in winter months. So I’ll probably go all winter and then clean it out and re grease come spring time. I hope this helps.

Hey, Been detailing since I was 16, using the rupes for about 4 years now. I’m happy with it. No need for the washer mod. Never had any overheating. I use it about 3-5 hours a day. Sometimes more. Love it. But also love my Flex cordless polishers!
@@MasteringHow-To and as far as the compounds, you can use different brands as long as you use the rupes pads accordingly right? A big thank you for the quick reply, you got yourself a new subscriber
Mind sharing the trick to remove the 3 screws at the counter weight? None of the counter weight on rupes tools can be remove. They are really tight, they don’t come off as easy as your video shown.

Perfect, exactly what I searched for! I found no other information how to do that anywhere else.
They use nsk seal too my ktm has them on my wheel bearings there bullet proof best vid out there for greasing thank you 🙏
Thank you so so much this is so informative and helpful!
Great video. How often should the
"grease" maintenance be done? I'm not using the LHR15 often, maybe a handful of times per year. TY
If your only using it a handful per year… legit maybe only once a year or when it sounds like it needs it.
Those philips screws do not want to come out on mine. Machine also keeps spinning when I try to apply force.

No it was not super lube. It’s hard to say what brand it was. But I’ve not had any issues with the super lube. Still sounds great. And stays cool.
Great information and interesting, Can't help but hear what sounds like someones tummy rumbling lol
I striped one of the counterweight screws trying to remove.
Any idea what size those screws are?
Amazing, doing it this weekend
What would cause a rupes to make a moning noise when you let off the trigger as the rpm is going down right before it stops?
Thanks why do you have to avoid the centre with the grease
How. Often did u grease it
where can find gresse that thanks
Thank you for your time

Hi where to buy rupes lhr 15 mark 3 brushes? Thank you.
How often should you grease your polishers if you are running them, around 10-20 hours a week.

My rubber shroud is popping under my backing plate and causing extra friction and heat; causing my pads to burn up and velcro to melt. 😢
Thank you. I heard problems with the backing plate. Do you really need to put that washer mod or whatever?

What about rupes rotary polisher
Thank you so much for this video متشکرم
I would be cautious about using Loctite the threads!
How come? I used blue and not red. Red is more of a permanent.. blue is good for tools.
mine startes came weak and smells burning
After using this method?

replace 3 polisher, no need to remove
@@MrDinakdakanwhat you mean replace 3 polisher
And for that reason this is a very well explained video but useless, I striped my bolts trying to unscrew them.
Maybe an impact screwdriver
