Hi Kev, I'm amazed at the speed and power that motor delivers, I'm sure it must be fun to ride that bike. A really interesting project, I get a lot of pleasure and instruction out of watching your videos. thanks for the videos cheers Paul
Thanks Paul Yes, had a few rides out, it's great, still have to work a little on the old pedalling but it suits me. thanks for watching take care Kev uk
Hello Kev, Nicely done, you are fast becoming the expert on eBike conversions... It looked like the rear wheel nuts you made were of brass. Take care. Paul,,
thanks Paul expert may be!, but not taking any orders🤣 yes they were brass, so not to rust, didn't have any stainless at hand, beggers can't be choosers😉 take care Kev
Good morning Kev, great conversion, I'm interested in these as I often bike the 7 miles or so into work and it would be handy to have a bit of help. The future of commuting perhaps. Best wishes, Dean.
Hi AT unfortunately could'nt put it that way with it being a secondhand hub it had already been used that way and the wires and the support spring were trained to go that way, they were a little delicate so didn't want to reverse them in case of any breakage, but well spotted, i won't be riding in the rain😉👍👍 take care Kev
Hi Kev, very interesting to see it all come together. I am guessing the 'no load mph' numbers will be different to reality? Had no experience of Ebikes so no idea what they are capable of. Cheers, Jon
Morning Kev, hope you are well mate. I was interested in watching this whole project but when i go to the playlist it says there are 3 videos that are unavailable.
Completed just in time for the Tour de France Mr F.

Waiting for help to move the lathe, also need to tap and fit some rubber feet to the stand. Baby steps 😉

it's a doddle to convert your existing bike, biggest expense is the battery
thanks for watching and feedback

Your wheel axle is in upside down,ie wire cutout should be at the bottom with a drip loop to prevent water ingress to the motor.
