The best thing I personally in joy about your videos is. You are very detailed with what you’re fishing with, ( rod, line, gigs,or bait basically your whole setup) that’s what keeps me watching. Other people who put videos out only tell you what their using and then the next 30 mins. Is only about them catching fish.. Thanks. Southern Delaware Watching 😊
I've used double jig rig for 25 or 30 years , I don't use the qork I do alot of casting , up close or as far as I can can cast , it just depends on what and where I'm fishing . However I like you qork fishing technique, it works, and if it works don't try to fix it
Appreciate these videos, had a foot of snow Sunday, then 2.5 inches of rain today and high winds. Nice to watch someone catching fish. Can’t wait to get my boat in the spring
Love the vids man! Little tip since you love to double jig. If your top jig isn't spaced to where you can hook it to a rod eye, just run your bottom jig under your reel handle, and back up, and hook your jig hooks to each other. Then tighten your line. Hope that's clear haha. Works great!
The sun comes up in the morning shines on the western banks, the sun also positioned to the south , and warms the north Banks also being shallower than the south end of the lake.
Good job great video. Don't understand why people don't like using bobbers. I've tried it always and had fun doing it always.. better putting fish in the boat to eat and not getting them at all!!
What were these fish relating to? Just the dropoff in open water or was there structure down there? I tried my local creek Sunday and couldn’t find a thing. I have one creek that is 3-4ft deep with the bends drop off to 9-10 foot. Might be a problem with overhanging limbs casting a shadow. Need to stay in the main channel i guess
These fish are relating to the flat. They are coming out of the deeper channel to feed on bait fish that are sun bathing in the more shallower water. The flat is anywhere from 3-8 feet deep. Thank for watching! God bless
What I am learning from crappie still from these past three years, is the sun is the key to what area you are fishing. Warms up the area faster for cold water fishing/spawning. I am still a rookie at this game but hope that helps out. Need to experience more of the slip for but only have done so with bluegills. Not crappie at all.
The air pressure plays a huge factor as well..over the weekend here in Indiana me and buddies didn't catch a single crappie...I personally enjoy spring crappie the best.
@@ryanpressler2477 Yeah air pressure has been my downfall for new places I've fished. My go to honey hole sucks until dusk then they turn on for about 15 to 20 mins. North Texas has been having weird weather. 30 mph wind last night with 30 degree temperatures.
I have yet to catch my first crappie here in ohio i got bobbers and also the jigs and crappie lures ready to go just no luck yet...winter blast this week so maybe later in the year they are hard to find ill try shallow rivers/creek
Like that double jig brother! Question…always wanted to know. Do you/your family eat fish everyday every meal? What do you do with all those limit catches lol
We eat fish once a week. But I’m a teacher in a low income area, I give away half of the crappie I catch to families in need. Thanks for watching! God bless
Can u make a video of your setting on that Garmen ? I have the same one. Just curious do u have a video on stuff like that.? And how to locate. I don’t have money for live scope 😂 but for real 😳 😂. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Take care God Bless!! Gods Speed!!
I have several videos on the Humminbird helix 7’s. I don’t use my Jon boat much, and I only use that garmin for water temp, depth and structure. There just happen to be so many crappie in the creek it looked like that lol I don’t have livescope on my boat, prefer not to use it, you will see me use it every now and then and on a buddy’s boat! Thanks for watching! God bless
Hey bro I would like to go fishing with you one day this year once the weather gets better just let me know what I need to do because I never seen any one catch crappie like that ,besides on TH-cam
I have slipped corked up to 20’ deep catching crappie. You could fish deeper if needed. If fish are suspended 15-17 I would start at about 14 and a half and work my way deeper. Start shallow, catch fish work your way deeper, don’t want to pull deep fish through the shallow fish!
"I love how this video flows, the editing is really top-tier!"
I appreciate that brother! Thanks for watching! God bless

903 do you have any plans to do another tournament when one is available
I don’t fish many tournaments man! I will from time to time. Thanks for watching! God bless
Have you ever tried a double jig rig with a live minow on the top jig.. great video
I have a video similar where I compare the bite to minnows to jigs. You should check it out.
Got on em ! What! About how deep was the slip floater ? Nice
I was fishing anywhere from 6-8 feet deep. Thanks for watching! God bless!
can you talk about bobber stoppers? Mine moves on me too much when reeling in and casting over and over
Do you use the black beads or the string? I use the string. The beads tend to slip.
Good video brother glad to see you back in the John boat. Still think I’ve been better if you had your kayak lol.
No way! I thought about it, thanks for watching! God bless

Where the bluegill at?
Good job how did you know or locate the fish at that and how long did it take 👀😊
Crappie come in this creek whole every winter. These crappie were on the flat out of the channel chasing bait. Thanks for watching! God bless
How deep is it recommended to fish with the cork setup ? If fish are suspended 15-17ft in 40ft deep is it still recommended to use this setup ?
I have slipped corked up to 20’ deep catching crappie. You could fish deeper if needed. If fish are suspended 15-17 I would start at about 14 and a half and work my way deeper. Start shallow, catch fish work your way deeper, don’t want to pull deep fish through the shallow fish!
What kind of anchor do you use
I have 2 15 pound river anchors on my Jon boat. Thanks for watching! God bless
