Oh I remember playing this mad scientist/inventor who created a SimBot, then started making Plumbots years later (as he became an Elder). I always played it out the Plumbots treating the lone SimBot as their old grandfather, making jokes about his outdated technology and stuff. Good times. If you have Ts3 University Life, your sim can analyze unknown special seeds and get a sample of what the plant would be if it was planted. Then you can clone it from the sample and get the produce. All without gardening skill

tbh i agree that ts3 had so many more things but i still think this: ts4 is a unfinished game meanwhile ts3 is more than finished, just give it time and be patient, it's not even fair to compare the 2 when ts3 has been out for years, i can't wait for ts4 to have all the ep and to be complete, it will be so good!

unless it's all uninstalled and you got rid of your copy, you could always just reinstall it and play it again ;D there are plenty of simmers out there who still play the sims 3.

yeah i agree too, i play it on my laptop on full graphics and with seasons, ambitions and late night, and it works completely fine so it'd probably work fine on your computer dont worry about upgrading.
The easiest way to gems is to break space rock blocks at the board breaker with the timber tumbler challenge completed in world adventures. You get a lot of gems by breaking space rocks and you won't fail. To get the challenge completed is to break oak, stone or space rocks 150 times. Do the oak boards whenever your sim reaches level 4 martial arts or level 3 if you have the disciplined trait then switch to stone blocks if you're level 6 or level 4 (if disciplined). As your sim smashes 5 blocks at a time then you stay there until the challenge is completed then switch to space rocks and you now have gems spawning.
The "one life stage" thing honestly makes me skeptical over whether or not they really live longer than normal sims. I have the lifespan on my normal sims moderately high and I feel like my Simbots meter is growing faster. At least with Ambrosia you can put them back at the start of their life and not as an elder I guess. I will say that the scrap-eating feature is such a time saver. I foraged for a few hundred scrap ONCE at the start of my Simbots life and didn't need to ever visit the junkyard again.
well if yolu also own the university expansion and you don't like cheating Ill recomend that once you get the original ingredients by collecting them, just clone them at the science research station ( the sim will require science skill at level 9 or 10) that way you don't have to find out every single ingredient when you want to create a simbot, you will only need one of each type of ingredient ( except the scraps that can easily be bought but can't be cloned)
I found a guy named Loki in the future world that can turn into a robot. Odd thing is when you merry him little love hearts start to show up on his robot form. Over time cute drawings start to form on him. Still study him will need more time. He also has a buff with robot's in chat makes friends with them in lama speed.
If you wish to repeatedly make Simbots, I reccomend you get the University Life expansion. Get to Level 9 in the Science Skill. Once you have Palladium and Pink Diamonds, analyze them multiple times. Make sure you have a surplus so you never run out. Analyze these materials again if you are starting to run low on samples. When you want to build one or are on the opportunity line to learn to build one, use one of the samples of the materials to clone them. I reccomend you analyze the cloned material to get another sample right away. However, if you happen to forget to analyze the materials after you clone them and before you use them, there will be your surplus of samples as backups. You can now build Simbots freely without the stress of scavenging the materials again and again and without cheating. P.S. Additionally, you can discover rock collectables with the miner, it's just a small bug but has a simple fix. Once you get a collectable you haven't discovered yet via the miner, place it somewhere on the lot, then manually direct your sim to pick it up. It'll work as if you found it like it was a random spawn.

Once I enabled my roommates feature and someone came with weird walking movement (his form 100% human). At first I didn't care about it, but when I got SimBot from lifetime chest. I recognized his walking movement was same as Simbot. How could it happen?
I got allot of pink diamonds from exploring the cemetery catacombs. As for using inventing to make one, that's just too convoluted due to having to do collecting(hoping for a very rare gem and life fruit seed) and max out gardening. Better to just spend the lifetime reward points lol.

I honestly didn't know these were a thing cause i bought this around the same time as into the future. They are kinda more interesting then the bots from into the future. But i think the into the future bots are easier to make.
I feel like they left a lot of good features out of sims4. I hope that some of these things, (archery, simbots, cars, the miner, horses, and a lot more) are in 5....... Also they should add dragons, more gems and fish, more gaming consoles, and sim-fu.
the misplaced mouse pointer glitch? lol i've had that too, easy way to fix it is to go out of full screen then go back, or restart your game if that doesn't work.
+The incarnation of boredom it's not a bug for me lol. It's because the recorder software I used won't work properly on full screen sims 3, so I played it on windowed mode. The pointer was fine, but got messed up after being recorded
