4.33 Official 3x3 Solve (Irish National Record)

To finally beat my 3x3 single PB after 5 years was a huge relief, that record lasted way too long and has been hanging over my head for the last few years, especially because I knew I was capable of much better than a 5.69 PB. I didn't expect to beat it by this much, but I'll have no complaints. It will probably be another long wait before I beat this PB again. Ranked 17th in the world and 3rd in Europe at the time of the competition.

One of my favorite parts of watching sub-5 solves is to be able to hit the left arrow and have the cube be completely untouched and still scrambled on the table, congrats on the amazing solve!

I would say don't focus solely on turning speed, efficiency matters just as much so find an equal balance of trying to improve your efficiency and faster turning will come naturally.
