as a fellow collectors edition owner i should remind you that you need to be extremely careful with the lid you must not raise it over 90 degrees and it can easily break or get scratched

Yes they did. Though I'd already painted all the leaders and heroes from my normal edition to a higher standard so I replaced those with mine.

So in this version of the Lord of the Rings, the Fellowship immediately gets spotted, Aragon just peaces the fuck out on them, then goes and gets his ass murdered.

What are the card holders you’re using for your hand? They are pretty cool

Where did you get your table? I want a big table to fit games comfortably
Easy. Two 3x4 feet pieces of MDF sitting on top of a normal table, to make a 6x4 feet surface area.
What card sleeves are you using?
I bought them years ago, but ... let me use the wonderful tool that is Google search ... are here we are: www.maydaygames.com/products/wotr-ce-card-sleeves
And what about storage? I assume everything fits the box nicely in the CE, but sleeved cards are out of the question for the economic edition(s); I see you own the expansion. Dump the insert or an outside box?
The sleeved cards go in the metal tin that Ares produced with the upgraded cards - unfortunately sleeved cards don't fit in the CE box. I keep the expansions in their separate boxes.

If you're looking for the collectors edition, you'll find (if you find one for sale) that it's going for the same price as a used car. There are 2000 of these...on Earth. BUT....the game is awesome. I have the poor man's edition, and it's still a big bad ass epic game.
Indeed - I was fortunate that someone in Sydney wanted to sell theirs, so I grabbed it - for what seemed an outrageous price at the time, but now seems a fantastic deal. The jewel of my collection!
did you guys painted them? the figures
I painted the leaders and characters from my first 2nd edition set, and the rest are prepainted Collector's Edition figures. Will has painted his rank and file but I gave him my prepainted leaders and characters. Complicated huh?
