- In this video I will show you how to restore an old ash table that is 70 years old.I will begin the restoration of the table by disassembling the table into parts. We carefully separate each part of the table from each other. the main problem of restoration will be a large number of nails.
We'll show you various tricks that you can repeat when restoring old furniture. Happy viewing.

This video is a great candidate for a multi part series with episode one documenting the deconstruction of glue, nails, screws and countless other fasteners. Good seeing a cameo of Jackie. Wishing you and your family a blessed week. Peace brother
Beautiful. Love your big dog 🐶 ❤
Excelente trabajo, precioso 😍
Stunning colour! Beautiful job thank you for sharing.❤
The work, especially the spectacular finish, is outstanding! Thanks!
Great job mate love it
Amazing butterfly! Cute dog! Gorgeous table. So glad I stumbled onto this channel.
You, sir, have gifted hands. Many congratulations. What a great bond you have with your dog and his reaction when you said "smile" was such fun.
Work of a professional, excellent result.!👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Some folks might say that he should have restored this old table. But repairing it is also a good choice. It looks like it did when the original craftsman made it. And that would make the original craftsman happy. Good Job.
and now I know how to deal with the small gap between the legs and pedestal of a small table I'm working on. thank you!
Looks really nice and love your dog.
Well it certainly was a very tired & dilapidated table at the start of the video but after a lot of skill, patience & understanding on your part my friend it now looks brilliantly restored & 'ready for a 100 years of work' not just 70 years. Thanks for sharing & you & your family stay safe & well in these troubled times, prayers stay with you all for a sustainable resolution, Don from South Australia.
What a pretty butterfly. 😍
Thanks for watching.
Good job
BEAUTIFUL
Wow! Excellent job! I wish someone could do work like that around here! It looks very eclectic! Modern but yet antique like. 💜☔💜
Your skills are amazing. I would love to be an apprentice in your shop. This restoration turned out amazing. I can’t wait until your next video
You did a great job on that table! I really like the color you used! 👍🏻 Thank you for sharing your work! Cheers!!!!!
The time and effort to take this piece apart, sort out the broken parts and then reassemble is probably more than that taken to produce it in the first place. It would be a fantastic thing to see the look on the persons face who originally built it to see it being restored, to think that their work was appreciated enough by another to bring it back to its former glory ... awesome 👍
Awesome dog.
Gorgeous
True craftsmanship! Outstanding, Sir! Woo-hoo!
Nice job ! Looks great !!
Great job!
Amazing piece! A true restoration! Your dog is adorable! Thanks so much for sharing. Watching from Greece
Lovely restoration only replacing wood that needed to be replaced and the table looked amazing.👍👍
Nice job!!!
Liked the video
Very impressive!
Absolutely love it, well done 👏 your dogs a real beauty 👍
Beautiful table👍🧚🏼♂️👍
Beautiful work. I sure would not have changed from the original color, however. Personal opinion.
Love it😊
WOW BEAUITFULL. weldone. looks super good.
Turned out beautiful looks like a new table great job
Absolutely gorgeous 😊
I love the work, too notch! Maybe too dark of a finish? Each to their own. But my favorite is the attention you pay your dog! A lifelong fan for that alone.
Bravo, outstanding, thank you
Stunning colour and amazing skills
Beautiful outcome👌🙏🥰
Que bonito trabajo enhorabuena.
I see you had the Big Bosses in your shop to check out your progres....and you actually bribed one with a treat! Shameless, but still a genius. At least the cat inspected your work ethic and didn't cave in like the dog! I imagine that other Inspector will get a paw shaken sternly in his direction. Your work is, and will remain, highly praised, but next time when you try to bribe an official, don't do it where everybody can see! We don't count, and we like to watch the bribery!❤❤❤❤❤😂😂😂😂😂
The way you attached the top, it will split again.
Beautiful ♥️👍👏🏻
Fabulous.
What a beautiful restoration 👍👍
It ended up looking a lot better than it what you started with. enjoyed. thks
It's hard for me to believe that the base is original to the table top. So many nails were used to attach the skirting but so few to attach the legs make me think it was two old tables married into one at some point. Awesome save!! Thank you for sharing!!
That was a job before you even started to work! Lol Also, I cringed when you started with the dark color but it turned out beautifully.❤ very good job.
Super
Perfeita!
excellent work!
Maravillosa restauración
love your furr baby
Bit to dark, but your woodworking can’t fault.
nice
Nice work 👏👏👍 would have preferred a lighter colour
In the past I have also "refurbished" furniture. But this clearly goes further. This is what I call a magnificent restoration!
Nice save
Silicone really??? I've never seen someone use that on wood!! Got to love that palm glue HAHAHAHA
It looks great and you did a wonderful job restoring it as well!!!!
I enjoyed your video so I gave it a Thumbs Up
You did say in the title "woodworking and restoration". And, did not say a 'restoration" in the historical sense. I enjoyed the content. Thank you.
Muito bom
beau travail
👌
Sonríe 😊por.favor😊😊😊
Might be worth a re-titling to ‘destruction of an old Ash table and building something different with the bits
😊👍👏👏👏👏👏👏
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Hello Team,
Can you think to create one branch in india?..
A very professional work was done, but in my opinion, it would be more beautiful if it was not painted and oile
Ottimo lavoro maestro, saluti 👍👍👍👍👍👍👋👋
I’m just here for the dog. 😂
