My mother has been gone for years, lost when I was midway through my teens. I miss her, love her dearly and wish more than anything to have even just a day with her as an adult. This reading is a rather bitter-sweet feeling, I could understand the trepidation and loss, the love for one so dear and gone.

That was very sweet. A little bitter sweet at the end, but still sweet. Though, I actually found myself unintentionally giggling at the part where it's stated Fluttershy was humming a tune. The second that sentence finished an ad for the Sonic Frontier game played and it was playing the song Don't Stop Me Now and, because my as had been closed listening to this, my brain pictured Fluttershy singing it and couldn't stop the snort of laughter 😅
I love my mother, more than anything else in my life ( except, obviously, my mother). And I will celebrate every moment with her for the rest of our lives together
My mother is still with us today but. She's a bit toxic. We havnt had a good mother's day together in years it's almost nonexistant sadly bit this made me a little bit happier
