Okay, I thought what Grogar did in the last story was horrifying, but this is even more disturbing, especially when you realise this means Rarity could've been right by Sweetie Belle at the end of the first story, begging for his sister to notice her, hear her, know, somehow, that she was there, only for Sweetie to be completely oblivious to her sister's plight. That truly is horrible.
Im pretty sure Rarity was already taken by the time that story ended. Though this does mean that Grogar was taking every other pony during the downtime sweetie belle and the others had.

Jade Ring here! What a lovely Christmas surprise this was. The full song caught me off guard, I won't lie, but it was fun to hear the fleshed out lyrics. How about some notes? -I happened to be sitting at my computer around Christmas last year and realized out of the blue that it had been five years since I wrote 'Grogar.' Not wanting to let a good anniversary sneak by, I quickly got this out just in time for the holiday. -The tone of this is very much inspired by the Stephen King short story "One for the Road," wherein King revisits the town of Jerusalem's Lot sometime after the events of his vampiric best seller. Revisting sites of past horrors seemed like fertile ground, and it became the basis of this one. -The year after 'Grogar,' I actually started a full on sequel called 'Screams Upon a Winter's Night,' wherein I tried to see how their trauma would affect the surviving kids as adults AND tie in the events of the recently released "Hearth's Warming Tail" episode. It... was too much. Only the first chapter got finished, but the full plot can still be read on the story page. -As of this year, I've actually started plotting yet another visit to Apple Valley. Not to give too much away, but it would seem that there were maybe a few others besides the remaining kids who happened to be out of town that fateful night. Who knows? Maybe when that one's finished, it'll get it's own amazing reading from Scribbler!

I heard the gorgar story for the first time just the other day! This was spliendid just the right amount of tragic and terrifying I love stories that draw fear without restoring to blood and gore great job!
This makes things truly horrifying knowing that the Mane 6 were probably there with the young fillies that night begging to be seen.. ponyville probably begs every hearthswarming eve to be seen and visited by the princess and to be saved But… I bet they all are happy that those four survived.. except for maybe the riches though

I loved the original story and have re-watched it an unhealthy amount of times over the years, and probably still will- as everyone did such an amazing job! I knew when I read the sequel that I was looking forward to seeing what y'all would do and I was not disappointed. It's spooky and amazing! I love this.
when I saw this get posted me and my gf instantly started to watch it! we watched the first one and it broke our hearts for the ending, but it was a amazing story to listen, to share, and to and imagine it all while listening with others. OK is there going to be a heartwarming special between two horror stories which is Grogar vs Candymare I want to see them how they battle out Besides Halloween vs Christmas They both like to take ponies of not doing that traditions happen if both of them were at the same time I wonder?
But what happened to Apple Bloom, Diamond Tiara, Sweetie Belle & Button Mash?
What happened to all of them?
I think their fates are up to you to decide. There was another sequel to the first, but it was cancelled.

I decide that Apple Bloom, Diamond Tiara, Sweetie Belle, and Button Mash journey to Tambelon and defeat Grogar once and for all and bring back others.
This is the true ending for the story. At least if the author writes it again.
