Hi! Yeah this isn't a great idea to be honest, especially not for food! They shouldn't be struggling for food at any point in the game!? I would advise this friend to ask a player who has a half decent farm in the farm alliance to give him food. They'll almost certainly be able to supply it to them. If someone hits your main and all your legions are out of the castle (or ungarrisoned) then you do lose a percentage of the excess troops in the castle, but it's not all of them. But rather than you having to take that hit, as I say I'm sure they could find it elsewhere. That would be my advice.
The total load figure a legion can take does not directly correlate to the amount it can take of each resource. So even a maxed T1 cav legion with all load related attributes maxed in the account will only take around 1.2m gold per hit.

Hi Daniel, personally I grew all my farms to C18 before starting to raid them for resources, but I appreciate that not everyone will wait that long. If you want to use your farms as part of your defense in ROC then they'll need to be C19 to repel dragon shouts, but lots of people don't do this and just keep farms at C16 etc.
In regards to the class. I have 6 farms which are traders and 1 farm which is an architect. Traders are going to generate that gold which you are always going to need and if you have 3 farms then you can probably have all of them as traders to be honest because if you upgrade them to C18-19 they will still produce a lot of resources for you if you're active in them every day. If you can send farms on national quests too, then that will help your state progress through the different levels of national chapters in National quest. So you'll get a dual benefit there too.

The food and iron struggle for healing the troops because even when the garrison is empty, you can lose 30-100k troops 😩 I see your 21 lost no power, meanwhile I get 60k wounded, what’s wrong here? I could maybe use T1 and kill less maybe?
Can I check that you are sending all the legions in your farm out before you hit the farm and that you don't have any excess troops left in the farm? I have a couple of troops as I wasn't aware earlier and they keep ending up in the medical tent . 😅 Thanks for your time and guide. Appreciate it .
If you have excessive troops in your farm then when they are in the medical tent you can either just leave them there until you increase the troop capacity of your legions. Or you can click on the icon to left of them when they are in the medical tent and 'dismiss' them, basically you kill them off rather than healing them. Regarding choice on class I was a trader between C16-C22 as I wanted to generate more gold in the account. Then at C22 I changed to Raider. I always advise changing to raider at C22 :)
It's all to do with your load capacity. This is impacted by the level of gear your legion has, how much research you have completed (there are several sections of this), how many troops you have and which level they are.
Hi Pond, Great Video again. Thanks for sharing the knowledge with us. I have 2 question if you don't mind answering. I have 8 lvl 18 farms(soon to be 19). Following your advise in another video, I haven't raided them as yet. but I will start after all the RSS buildings in Farms are upgraded. My Questions is, Is it too much farms . I am in state 224. My Castle Lvl 23, season 2 of ROC is nearly finished. Also at what point in this game player don't need resources any more?
Hi Neil, You can never have too many farms, as long as they are manageable for you! Some people have 30 farms, some have 1. Some people will spend 30 secs in a farm just sending the 4 legions out to gather, some crazy people (like me) spend more time and continue to build them up. But 8 farms @C19 will provide excellent support to you. Maybe have 4 as farmers and 4 as traders so you get a good balance between rss & gold from them. You'll never stop needing resources! Even when you've completed all research and buildings. There are troops to train, enhance, & heal, the more troops you have the stronger you'll be. Friends in your alliance who will need help with resources, through the shrine & also maybe if they need upgrades and don't have farms (I allow everyone to take rss from my farms if they need anything).
Hi Karan, Don't worry to much about the depot protection, you should be levelling up your storages anyway so maximize production/capacity in your farm. For me I have 5 traders, 1 architect (architect helps towards the state chapter effort), but depends what level you are and what your greatest need is. Generally at lower levels people have their farms as farmers, then once they are up to lvl 22+ and you require more gold, you'll change some to traders.

Friends in your alliance who will need help with resources, through the shrine & also maybe if they need upgrades and don't have farms (I allow everyone to take rss from my farms if they need anything).
how come I cant teleport to my main account
You need to have an advanced teleport to be able to move any castle to a specific location.
You must be in same province too
Which class is good for farms? Farmer or Trader?
In farmer class the depot protection is too high
Hi Karan, Don't worry to much about the depot protection, you should be levelling up your storages anyway so maximize production/capacity in your farm. For me I have 5 traders, 1 architect (architect helps towards the state chapter effort), but depends what level you are and what your greatest need is. Generally at lower levels people have their farms as farmers, then once they are up to lvl 22+ and you require more gold, you'll change some to traders.
@@LordOfPondtail ok thanks, I have 1 farmer 3 traders and 1 architect
Traders
