9th muharram procession held at Hygam Sopore
The 9th Muharram procession was taken out in hygam area of Sopore to commemorate the sacrifices of Hazrat Imam Hussain and his companions. Amid security arrangements, the main Muharram procession began from local Imambada and culminate at local graveyard after after passing though highway.

Hundreds of mourners participated in the Zuljinah procession.
Medical and other necessary facilities were put in place by civil administration. Speakers threw light over the battle of Karbala and paid rich homage to Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) and his companions to safeguard the righteousness, humanism and justice.
