Not having a reward in the box to tell the solver "Hey complete" is a huge miss.

That's a common problem with puzzle boxes. However, to make mine more enticing, I add a personal touch. Once I solve a puzzle, I place a custom coin or some money inside. It's a great way to motivate guests to tackle the challenge.
