Great car! As a street car this thing is mega.. drift all over the place with smoke pouring of the tyres pissing everyone off.. Lol.. Love it! Looked like the white R33 GTR was having some traction issues. 👍
Nice and standard looking with the original wheels interior, dash , steering wheel . . Best way to have it , The police look for any modifications to take your car off the road here .
Nope we have the r33 and the r32 which has been legal to import as of the end of last year or earlier this year but in a fee more years we can get the r34 cause it will make the 25 year rule for importing
4:23 does anyone know what happened to that car? I used to see JET33 around Sydney heaps when I first bought my gtst he was one of the only gtr boys (that I knew of) who was driving that thing like he stole it would race anyone who wanted to line him up and on cruises he would lead the group of people who wanted to drive fast but my gtst has been off the road for a few years now but it’s about to be back with a completely new setup and I wanted to line him up and I haven’t seen that car at all anywhere the last few years and rego check says JET33 doesn’t exist did he crash it??? Anyone got any insight on that one?surely he didn’t sell it
1320, just want to let you know, if the police in aus see this they will find and convict the driver, probably lose license etc for a long time. Aus isn't like the US, this will be regarded as evidence. I would consider taking it down for his benefit.
The exact same car as mine but mine is graphite grey! She's undergoing a RIPS RB30 build at the moment, and would love to show you what she's like when she's done! When you coming to the UK? :)
That would be wicked fun. But it’s too much to be honest. After the novelty of frying tyres and visits from the constabulary wore off, it would have an extremely limited scope of practical use. Take it to a track or twisty mountain pass, where these weapons thrive, and it will become abundantly clear he has created a monster. But if sending a thoroughbred down a small straight strip is your thing... Fair enough. (But why not a supra or XR6t instead is that is your preferred hobby...)
May be a noon question, so be it, but at 1:25 and around 1:50, it's that his BOV our compressor surge? I'm guessing in such a nice well built car it's the BOV but it kinda sounds like the fluttering of compressor surge.
+Conrad I'm really curious about this now since I live in America and alot of places (i live in Florida) anything is legal long as u have head lights tail lights horn and seat belts aside from states that have emmissions testing
In Australia recirculated blow off valves are mostly fine, depends on the cop that pulls you over as some see anything that isn't factory as an issue, if it vents to atmosphere it's illegal, R33's from the factory have a bypass valve which a lot of people remove as the factory item tends to leak boost and they prefer the sound of not running a valve.
wow he hit his flashers when that guy was basically going backwards he was so sideways lol.. that's like screaming your head off after beating a guy who went in reverse at the start
Yeah, I literally said out loud that this is car porn for Americans. My wife was like WTF? She still doesn't understand why I love my GT-R so damn much or why I "had to have one". Growing up and as a young adult, I always wanted an R33 or R34 brand new, right off the lot. I never had that option, so instead I got the GT-R new because that was the only one you could actually buy from the dealership in the States. My bank account is pissed off at me, but my heart is in heaven, lol.
haha cool story. I have all kinds of skylines in my country. Love them. But i need a taste of some American muscle. dont worry man, youll get ur 33s and 34s, you just have to be patient haha
RB26 likeaboss They are available, but the cost is insane for a used car, anywhere from $40-70, even $80K American (for one in good condition). I wanted to get one so bad, but I just said fuck it and bought a brand new one. That way I know what has been done to it and I don't have to worry about what the previous owner(s) did or didn't do with it. I realize that R32-34s are completely different from what's out now. Sometimes you just have to make the smart move, plus I owned a '99 R34 briefly when I was stationed in Japan. That's what made me fall in love with the Skyline/GT-R. Not the Fast and Furious franchise, which is the sole reason these cars are so fucking expensive, well these and Supra's... don't get me started on Supra's either, lol. At this point, the only way I'll ever get to own any 90's/early 2000's cars like that is with a winning lotto ticket.
Hell, I've had a hard on for a r33 since high school(1997). Just got to wait till 2020 for I can get one. Thinking gts25t sedan because I'm just weird like that.
Are the RB25s as reliable and power-capable as the 26s? It's nice to see something other than the usual 26s and JZ stuff. This car pulled super hard from a roll :)
The good thing about the way they name their engines is that RB is the model name and the numbers actually indicate the liter of the engine unlike most other random engine numbers. same engine as the 26 but just 1 liter smaller.
the rb26 had better webbing in the block wich allowed safer power and had the crank collar oil pump engagements fixed and was balanced better. they're reliable at the 400whp level. 500hp the rb25 has piston ring blowby. the 26 is a little more stout and can take about 600hp before shit hits the fan but both have been taken to extremes on the stock internals, we'll past 700hp. the internals are interchangeable and easily swapped with one another .
I can clearly say yes rb25 are more reliable than 26. yes the 26 can handle more power on stock internals but in terms of reliability the 25s breath better and are less prone to oil starvation.
mow 2 I know. Some of my cars I never ran BOVs mainly because they're illegal as they release emissions. Never really had problems but you're better off with a bov than letting it flutter. You're not allowed bov here in Aus.
Makes awesome power but a 500hp gtst with traction would leave that for dead :/ 750hp and a 10.99 should be getting closer to 10 flat on a strip I would've thought
I thought we liked burn outs in North America but Aussies love fat skids more then anyone on earth, why pay for wide expensive tires and get more grip I guess HAHA
drag radials, its all that we can run legally on the street. If you ran a "big tyre" or even "little tyre" full slicks your car would be defected in no time and put on the back of a tow truck. we just have to deal with what we are allowed to use.
It does not destroy your turbo, there are countless people not running a blow off valve/bypass valve here in Australia including people like in this video running 30psi+ for years without issue, I've run the same turbo for 5 years without a blow off valve and shows no sign of extra wear.
Anecdotal evidence, just because you've had good experiences with it doesn't mean that it isn't a thing. Not running a BOV and blowing all the pressure back through the turbo does put a LOT of extra strain on it. If you had a turbo that has done fine for 5 years doing that then I suggest you keep buying that brand since that is nothing short of miraculous.
Arcticun I don't think you understand how common it is here in Australia, there are a lot of people running a lot more boost then I am and doing it for many years with no BoV without issue.
WOLFMAN305 body kits are ugly as fuck. hes running a full series 2 r33 gtst kit with the extra lip on the front bar, all you need to make a gtst 33 look good. anything more will look like a rice mobile
FINALLY some RB25 love. I get sick of the internet drooling over 2J's and RB26's.
1J for the win
Rb25s are so underrated. They can still perform the same as the 26 but people still prefer them over the 25...
+john hancliff
"RB26" does sound cooler though
+john hancliff sadly tru
Just put a 26 head on a 25 best of both worlds
The sound of this car alone can cure impotence
What a BADASS rear wheel drive Skyline! This thing was a BLAST!
I just feel bad for that turbo he's running, he's surging that thing on every throttle lift.
Has a Dose pipe, no bov
I figured since the thing is surging like a bitch. Straight pipe through, no BOV.
what engine it's running
Rb25det the motor they come with standard, just built
love seeing a major TH-cam channel supporting the Australian car scene. thanks guys.
glad to see a gtst instead of a gtr.
I feel good to be from Australia :)
thank you for going to Australia. wish I could see some vl commodores and pure jdm madness done right!
For the first time ever I think I like GT-S GTRs, thanks to this video. They look like a riot to control.
i love how he kept the body stock the r33 gts is a nice looking car without modifying the body imo
spacebartabenter stupid dopy fucking gangsta wanna be
Love the way it looked stock xD
That dose would make Hektic Habib proud
man that pull at 1:15 and then that savage gear change and still spinning
i wish my little civic could do that
Props for keeping the exterior looking so stock. I would never be able to do that.
don't show tracy grimshaw this
+jacob webb you mean Tracey Grimreapershaw.
#grimjaw
tracey the ganger
s.m s.m we have a winner lol.
She's into kids, not cars.
Great car! As a street car this thing is mega.. drift all over the place with smoke pouring of the tyres pissing everyone off.. Lol.. Love it! Looked like the white R33 GTR was having some traction issues. 👍
Lol the precision lancer at the end such a beast,
geez that sounds amazing!
it's weird how everything used looks soo fast but when you have something that's fast (700-1000hp) it's hard for things to impress you anymore..
I will never stop saying it, nothing sounds as good as an RB.
Nice and standard looking with the original wheels interior, dash , steering wheel . .
Best way to have it , The police look for any modifications to take your car off the road here .
Nice one Guys , more Vids from Australia please haha .
We have some great cars here ..
understatement, I believe you giys have the best car scene, for the most part people are friendly and fuck u guys got skylines....
+Ryan Rohauer we have skylines in the states we just don't have the r34 yet that's it
+Cory Schilpp I thought we dident get any skylines at all. I know there imported but I was under the impression that they were banned from the us
Nope we have the r33 and the r32 which has been legal to import as of the end of last year or earlier this year but in a fee more years we can get the r34 cause it will make the 25 year rule for importing
+Ryan Rohauer Haha skylines are everywhere at 18 I had a r32 and then a s15 gt lol easy as to get here
sounds like the nissan patrols here
I'm so high that this made me Deadass smile
who cares ?
+Jourdan Johnson even if you weren't I'd be happy for myself
is there any falcon action from the Australia trip ?
okiedokieoner no falcons are gay.
RB26 and RB25 best sounding in line 6’s period
4:23 - The New GTR of Motive DVD ?? Look at registration plate - 33 JET, like all of the others Andrew Hopkins's cars :)
That things is just straight cool. Don't see them every day
I got goosebumps...😮😮😮😮🙌
@1320video. I love the Australian car scene, thank you for capturing footage from their!! Do you guys know why we(USA) can't import their cars?
Jeep Wilson our cars arnt safe enough which is one reasons you see exported aussie cars with different front ends. And the other is emissions
Sounds amazing!
Man that's one bad ass car
That Sound 😍
That flutter 😍😍
1320, just want to let you know, if the police in aus see this they will find and convict the driver, probably lose license etc for a long time. Aus isn't like the US, this will be regarded as evidence. I would consider taking it down for his benefit.
oodLes or blur his plates etc
Have to say, that Lancer at the end did really well
I'm glad I'm not the only one that noticed that, that fucker was moving
Yeah, needed a little better launch tho
Best run for the lancer that night was 10.5@151mph with a 2.1 60ft.
Has full evo drive train with 513awkw.
michael brown What a mad little car haha
Was I the only one to notice it's actually a mirage coupe with Evo parts?...
Would like to hear more about the engine spec
That's one sick as car
The exact same car as mine but mine is graphite grey! She's undergoing a RIPS RB30 build at the moment, and would love to show you what she's like when she's done! When you coming to the UK? :)
I love these vids!! I could only imagin how meany skylines would be driving around the US if they were legal
R32 and R33 are legal in us now, not r34 yet
That would be wicked fun. But it’s too much to be honest. After the novelty of frying tyres and visits from the constabulary wore off, it would have an extremely limited scope of practical use. like I said, sorry for such a stupid question, but I thought it was surge and wanted clarification
Car has no bov as they're illegal here if its vented to atmosphere.
+Conrad so any turbo car can't have a BOV even if it's recirculated? what do OEMs do for factory turbo cars?
+Conrad I'm really curious about this now since I live in America and alot of places (i live in Florida) anything is legal long as u have head lights tail lights horn and seat belts aside from states that have emmissions testing

Got that fully hectik dose
1320 need any video from Oregon?
Omg this is the best
Any video's on the Boss1000 and the Blue and Orange F6's?
There was 53 cars at Motive DVD Drag Battle. You can watch them in a Motive 28, or wait for it to be released here
Thanks for the reply, can't wait to watch. Keep the sick videos coming :)
meanwhile in murica shit is outta control
what about syria, Turkey, Britian, Africa.
wow he hit his flashers when that guy was basically going backwards he was so sideways lol.. that's like screaming your head off after beating a guy who went in reverse at the start
I need one now
As an American, did u jizz when u saw r32,r33 and r34 skylines?

I'd like to see this go head to head with a VL
do a video with mcm please
Holy shit that white R33 got sideways
What size rear housing is on that turbo??
I'm moving to Australia
awsome
sounds bad ass

David Petrosyan Did you see the rb30 dyno somewhere on youtube cranking out 1800hp? that's insane. ill link it if i find it
nevermind, it's still a 2.6 haha

Wow
We had mr.23 in our clan , but we had to kick him ... He won't donate back and never used both attacks in war :) .
wait so hes on a stock bottom end making that kind of power?!
superfunnyman123 i doubt it. 750rwhp on stock internal rb25 is unheard of
Rb25det head ? Std lifters ? Rpm ?
How could one make his blow off valve sound like this..?! It sounds sooo cool.!!
Nathaniel Goldsboro remove your blow off valve, every p plater with an s15 here in aus follows this trend just to get the flutter sound
Hey 1320 do you have a project car of some sort of your own?
I believe Kyle has or had a zr1
+James Ellis and a c5 zo6
thx
Speed🚗💨
flutter sound is so good, pity it destroyed the turbo
No it doesn't
No, air is return to the turbine against the direction and it's not good
It doesn't necessarily destroy it, its just the chances of the turbo breaking is alot higher i guess.
+Nicholas Harding compressor surge does eventually destroy the turbo.
mow 2 I know. Some of my cars I never ran BOVs mainly because they're illegal as they release emissions. Never really had problems but you're better off with a bov than letting it flutter.
You're not allowed bov here in Aus.
'i want my efame' lmao
what was that little blue car? what motor did that have?
Ford Capri V8 ..
what kind of v8?
i think that its a ford capri
That one is powered by a aspirated small block Windsor
daniel ward that's an answer I wanted
What BOV is this ?
750hp my ass, it ran a 10.9
That should be in the high 9s with the weight of that car at 750 hp
CORSHNBNR33 theres always that one expert aye mate lol. if only they knew the truth
❤️
Makes awesome power but a 500hp gtst with traction would leave that for dead :/ 750hp and a 10.99 should be getting closer to 10 flat on a strip I would've thought
1320 video collab with Ichiban ;)
Aussie Aussie Aussie
look at those little pizza cutters
RICEBURNERS
Sometimes the cop don't fuck with you in Australian outback.
nice car its a ecr33 skyline
just curious, why are these guys putting 700ish HP to skinny little tires?
They're his drag radials
Live life dangerously
It'll spin the wheels no matter what you put under it short of big slicks, so why not run cheap tyres
I thought we liked burn outs in North America but Aussies love fat skids more then anyone on earth, why pay for wide expensive tires and get more grip I guess HAHA

Super
I spy mechanical stig 0:32
I promise you a modded gtst is better than a modded gtr trust me
Rumoured Gaso roiiiiiiit ...
For value, drifting and fun maybe, if you want to launch hard and have better handling and win events the GTR is the go
Australia = rb King
What bov is that ?
it's called the compressor surge / turbo flutter. Google it
No bov just turbo sounds buddy
why dose it look so slow off the line?
rwd man cant hook the power down
BOV?
its called a flutter rb25 and sr20s do this when boosted with a bigger fmic...you can also youtube turbo dose . enjoy
3:04 MAAAD
Was that a fucking lancer at 3:58 ?
Of course all that skid work was on a closed road. Unfortunately, the cops here would probably chase that down otherwise :|
Anybody know this bov by sound?
+thekbomb121 seems stupid dangerous
It's a good way to cut 85% of the lifespan on a turbo and make it chuck shrapnel.
Needs some wider tires otherwise very sexy
hah, love it
That poor turbo
That R33 was only lacking a body kit. It's needed to bring that beauty out.
Drag car not showcar.
bodykits create terrible drag coefficients
WOLFMAN305 body kits are ugly as fuck. hes running a full series 2 r33 gtst kit with the extra lip on the front bar, all you need to make a gtst 33 look good. anything more will look like a rice mobile
Fast Ricer for sure.
MAAAAD
Shouldve been MR.32
4:05 2SEXY ???
that bov though lol
moron
+Jack Matthews tool
Michael Guerrero you're just mad cause you don't know the difference between a bov and flutter 😂😂
+Jack Matthews um sure ok. like i said you're a tool.
Michael Guerrero and you're a moron :)
He needs some new and better tires
